Pizz'osteria da Mazza

17/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, very good food, and staff available to answer any questions. The only downside, if I have to say, is that the pizza arrived in less than 5 minutes, while those who ordered meat had to wait about 15-20 minutes. But everything was delicious and highly recommended.

29/04/2026: A truly excellent restaurant: simple dishes but expertly prepared. Portions are almost too generous. The owner/cook/waitress is incredibly friendly. Prices are reasonable. They accept debit cards, though not very willingly!
24/04/2026: The perfect starting point and base for a day of enduro riding. I took part in a ride organized by the Motoclub Valstirone. Parking is also suitable for large vehicles.

23/07/2026: I placed an order, was charged €35.30, and what I received was a huge lack of respect for the consumer. The portion was far too small, and I only received the meat; the tacos never appeared.

It's changed so much. I asked for a sauce to put on the food, but they didn't even come.
Everything's too expensive.
Lunch menu for 4 people was almost 80 euros.
The food was poor, and so much more. We were disappointed.
They're continuing like this, and they'll lose a lot of customers.
Anyway, I'll never go there again.

10/06/2026: I've been going to Taverna dei Sapori all my life. The food has always been good, but in recent years the quality of the meat has really improved. In my opinion, it's the best place for roast meat in the entire area.
Average price: 70-80 euros per person.

25/07/2026: I hate to give one star because the girl who served us was very polite, but the food was more than I expected. We went to a town hall in the province of Piacenza and ordered exactly what was listed on the receipt. The fries were good, but the salami was undercooked. I asked for it to be recooked, which was well done, and it was just a little more overcooked on the outside. I was told it's fresh, which is why it's pink on the inside, but it's way too undercooked. I've never seen a salami cooked like that.

18/06/2026: La Ghenga reminds me of those '80s-era places I used to frequent as a kid...for better or worse, in that the pizza is good but not "modern," thin and wide, but with quality toppings, and the menu is the classic (and unimaginative) one I used to choose from as a kid. The place is also '80s-era, with wood-paneled walls, some questionable '80s-era paintings, and faded photos hanging on the walls. A place where time seems to have stood still 40 years ago (the only sign of "renewal" is the limoncino after dinner instead of the '80s-era peach/lemon/melon vodka). Sure, the ambiance needs a makeover...but maybe that's for the best! For those nostalgic (and those on a budget)

11/12/2025: Filled up at the end of November. The maximum amount was deducted, after having filled up about half the tank. Total chaos that day, with gas station attendants incapable of managing the situation or clarifying the situation; it seemed like they'd just woken up, but it was afternoon. I left because I was in a hurry, unfortunately, with the feeling that something had gone wrong.... Result: double the amount and impossible to get my money back since I no longer had the receipt.
Never again at this gas station; there are plenty of reliable ones...
