29/04/2026: A truly excellent restaurant: simple dishes but expertly prepared. Portions are almost too generous. The owner/cook/waitress is incredibly friendly. Prices are reasonable. They accept debit cards, though not very willingly!
24/04/2026: The perfect starting point and base for a day of enduro riding. I took part in a ride organized by the Motoclub Valstirone. Parking is also suitable for large vehicles.

02/05/2026: Much to my disappointment, even though I've been here several times and found it very good. The last time, both my friend and I were ill, with symptoms of food poisoning. I suggest checking the quality and freshness of the products provided, for the well-being of our customers.
01/05/2026: I ordered a burger and a Caesar salad, which they served together. Two large plates that I ate because I was hungry. I don't recommend it. The waitresses were nice, the place is ugly, I don't recommend it.

10/05/2026: We stumbled upon it almost by accident, searching Google Maps for a place to dine while visiting a relative in Piacenza. The photos and reviews piqued our curiosity... but the reality was even better. The place is simple, almost spartan, but impeccably clean and the staff are truly attentive, present without being intrusive. We had gnocco fritto with a charcuterie board, beef tartare, roulade, and a slice of beef: everything was truly excellent. The gnocco fritto was incredibly light, dry, and not at all greasy, and anyone from Emilia knows that there, you can immediately tell the difference between "good" and "well-made." Quality charcuterie and incredibly tender meat. In the end, we were so satisfied that we even bought groceries to take home. And perhaps this is the most honest review one can give: when you leave a place and want to take a piece of it home.

03/05/2026: An evening with embarrassing music, to say the least... Dinner started at 8:00 PM, and they brought the appetizer at 8:45: two slices of prosciutto, two squares of fried gnocco, and two pieces of pizza bianca. We waited another hour for the first course, which arrived cold and overcooked, the lasagna completely overcooked, and not to mention the dessert, a trifle messed up, horrendous both to the eye and to the palate. The cream was almost runny, the Pavesini biscuits were all crumbled, and there was a block of chocolate on top. The most embarrassing thing was the price: €35 for an appetizer, a second course, and a dessert.

10/06/2026: Terrible service and truly disorganized staff. The place was half empty, so we didn't use the usual excuses of not paying attention or being tired because it was crowded, because that's not a proper answer. One napkin for five people. Asked for Coke on tap and was then told it wasn't available. Asked for Schweppes as written on the drinks menu and was brought a similar drink. The chips in bags were brought and thrown on the table. (They should be put in bowls, especially with appetizers or when you're drinking alone.) The menu posters were sticky and dirty when you picked them up! The staff was truly disorganized. Except for the black girl, who was really the only nice and welcoming one. The rest of the staff had pissed-off faces and didn't even understand Italian. It's a shame because the place is nice, but if the staff is like that, people will only go there once.
10/06/2026: I'm giving it three stars because the quality of the cuisine deserves the highest possible rating, but the service and customer care leave much to be desired. Three of us sat down and ordered the fish menu, all very good: mussels Taranto-style, tagliolini with seafood. Overall, a menu that would deserve a higher price if this quality persists. The negative aspect is the staff, with frequent misunderstandings and constant attention-seeking, as if the customer who has just sat down were a burden. They give us exhausted looks when asking simple questions (sometimes misunderstood). A positive note, however, is the service of the black woman who welcomed us and almost pampered us as if we were at home. Overall, the certainty remains that if the service were as good as the quality of the products offered, this place undoubtedly has great potential.

09/06/2026: Mixed grill for one person: same price for several years, BUT the amount of meat on the plate has been progressively and inexorably reduced over the years. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the grilled dish I ordered, but there's a HUGE difference in the amount of meat between the image on the menu and what actually arrives. Granted, if you look for the asterisk with the small print, you'll see that "the image is for illustrative purposes only..." but it's still a confusing marketing strategy. I would have appreciated a more "frontal" marketing strategy from Roadhouse, where the rising costs of raw materials, energy, transportation, etc. were accompanied by a price increase to guarantee and confirm Quantity and Quality: it could have become a slogan that strengthened the brand. Consumers would have felt "treated with respect" and would have continued to go to Roadhouse, perhaps less frequently but regularly. With this choice, however, which is certainly not "unfair" from a "contractual" point of view but not crystal clear from a practical point of view, the consumer feels dissatisfied precisely when he receives the long-awaited dish and... simply... never comes back.
