09/05/2026: In the area for work, we happened upon this place. Excellent service, perfect food (meat for us), in a small but welcoming and familiar atmosphere. Excellent prices. I recommend it to anyone in the area. We'll be back.

16/05/2026: Located in the middle of open countryside next to an artificial lake. Rustic atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Kitchen only opens in the evenings at 7:30 pm.

10/05/2026: We stumbled upon it almost by accident, searching Google Maps for a place to dine while visiting a relative in Piacenza. The photos and reviews piqued our curiosity... but the reality was even better. The place is simple, almost spartan, but impeccably clean and the staff are truly attentive, present without being intrusive. We had gnocco fritto with a charcuterie board, beef tartare, roulade, and a slice of beef: everything was truly excellent. The gnocco fritto was incredibly light, dry, and not at all greasy, and anyone from Emilia knows that there, you can immediately tell the difference between "good" and "well-made." Quality charcuterie and incredibly tender meat. In the end, we were so satisfied that we even bought groceries to take home. And perhaps this is the most honest review one can give: when you leave a place and want to take a piece of it home.

10/06/2026: I've been going to Taverna dei Sapori all my life. The food has always been good, but in recent years the quality of the meat has really improved. In my opinion, it's the best place for roast meat in the entire area. Average price: 70-80 euros per person.

04/07/2026: Nice facility. Plenty of parking. Good food. Food slow to arrive. Coffee slow too. No toilet paper in the two men's bathrooms.

01/07/2026: Roadhouse Grill Modena – Modena Sud exit, Via Vignolese. An American-style restaurant on two floors, bright and surprisingly quiet this time. I ordered the salad with strips of bresaola, crispy mixed salad, dried tomatoes, and a fresh herb cream cheese. No gorgonzola; the flavor remains delicate and balances the saltiness of the bresaola well. The bread served separately was warm and fragrant. Fast service, helpful staff, convenient parking for those exiting the A1 motorway. Price is in line with the chain (€€ range). For a light lunch in a steakhouse, it's spot on.

18/06/2026: La Ghenga reminds me of those '80s-era places I used to frequent as a kid...for better or worse, in that the pizza is good but not "modern," thin and wide, but with quality toppings, and the menu is the classic (and unimaginative) one I used to choose from as a kid. The place is also '80s-era, with wood-paneled walls, some questionable '80s-era paintings, and faded photos hanging on the walls. A place where time seems to have stood still 40 years ago (the only sign of "renewal" is the limoncino after dinner instead of the '80s-era peach/lemon/melon vodka). Sure, the ambiance needs a makeover...but maybe that's for the best! For those nostalgic (and those on a budget)
