04/04/2026: Friday evening dinner and music have been a regular fixture for years. It was a very enjoyable evening, but please fix that embarrassing pothole between the two parking lots. It can't get bigger every time it rains.

A strong point is definitely the staff: friendly, helpful, and attentive to customer needs, without being intrusive. 17/03/2026: We had a pretty good time. The atmosphere is quiet, the service could be better, the food is good, but it's basically the same old stuff you'd find at Mc's or Old's. It's the same style.

21/03/2026: Terrible Never order takeout They didn't deliver our 58 euro worth of dishes.

07/03/2026: First time and never again! Poor service The waiters come by and ask if everything is okay; they see empty plates on the table but don't pick them up. Wait time for a dessert, winter cake: 20 minutes. After several waiters asked if we were finished, and three times we said we were waiting for the dessert we ordered, we decided to get up and go pay. At the cashier, I asked what problems they had and was told that the order hadn't been sent. Well, after three times, the waiters could have checked.

05/04/2026: Historic location. The setting is respectful of the context. Everything is done to a high standard. Especially the restaurant. The cappellacci with black alio are nothing short of incredible (personal taste). The portions are a bit limited, but that's okay (just ask for seconds). The prices, considering the times, are excellent, and the value for money is strongly in favor of the visitor. The pizza, if I must say anything, isn't exactly classic, but I think those who frequent this place come for something else. Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't particularly noticeable and pays a bit for this price tag in favor of more visible restaurants. The service is very discreet and elegant. Sometimes, though, a smile is a must; it creates that warmth that never hurts. Visited as a family, a couple with two children. Greetings from Varese.

25/03/2026: Very nice place, the place is a bit hidden, but it's very well-kept inside and is located in a slightly hidden courtyard. The dishes were very good. We had appetizers with cold cuts and freshly fried pizzini, my wife had polenta with three different sauces, which were very good. Then we had first courses: pumpkin cappellacci with butter and sage and fettuccine with Emilian ragù, all excellent, a glass of Sangiovese, and reasonable prices.

20/03/2026: It took about 10 minutes to get seated; the place was more than half empty. About 30 minutes to take my order. My water arrived 40 minutes after I arrived. It's Friday, and I discovered they had an all-you-can chicken tender. Fine, I ordered it. After about another 10 minutes, I received my first and only portion of tender, without sauces. I waited again for a waiter to appear in the room to bring them to me. After waiting again to ask if I could order more, since I'm an AYC, I left without even getting my coffee. A total of 1 hour and 20 minutes for one portion of tender and water. All with zero smiles and zero welcome. A terrible experience.

02/10/2025: I can't help but give it one star because we placed an order that never arrived. Delivery with Glovo was scheduled for 8:00 PM, but they kept sending us messages about a delayed delivery until 8:50 PM when they told us the order had been cancelled because the store was closed. We also tried calling the store several times to ask for an explanation, but no one ever answered.

11/09/2025: We have it often, at least 3 times a month. Spectacular large chicken, excellent cooked perfectly and the highlight are the truly amazing potatoes.

11/12/2025: Filled up at the end of November. The maximum amount was deducted, after having filled up about half the tank. Total chaos that day, with gas station attendants incapable of managing the situation or clarifying the situation; it seemed like they'd just woken up, but it was afternoon. I left because I was in a hurry, unfortunately, with the feeling that something had gone wrong.... Result: double the amount and impossible to get my money back since I no longer had the receipt. Never again at this gas station; there are plenty of reliable ones...

29/11/2025: They removed the diesel +, why?

04/03/2026: We were there a few weeks ago. The only good thing we ate was the appetizers. Everything else was terrible. The pasta all'amatriciana was just a plate of overcooked bucatini with a whole jar of tomato sauce, maybe a small piece of guanciale, and the tagliata was a whole, uncut steak, thrown on the plate with all the fat around it; it just tasted burnt. The potatoes, let alone those, were probably cooked the day before or old, as they were black. The famous Bortellina was a ball of boiling oil... We definitely won't be back.

14/10/2025: A typical mountain restaurant. Excellent cuisine, generous portions, reasonable prices, and friendly, welcoming staff.

16/06/2025: Trattoria essenziale, siamo andati con un gruppo di volontari sportivi di 26 persone, ottima l'accoglienza , menu' alla fiamminga , tutto molto buono e abbondante, personale accogliente e simpatico. Siamo stati molto bene. Esperienza da ripetere

13/08/2025: Perhaps the most beautiful summer venue if you're staying in the city. Located beneath the historic walls of the public promenade, it extends along the length of the square, accessible from the end of Corso Italia or from the Faxhall parking lot. Divided into two areas, a pizzeria/restaurant and a lounge serving aperitivo and after-dinner drinks, often featuring themed evenings and DJs. The food and cocktails are of the highest quality. The young staff and well-maintained location include awnings in case of rain and plants to protect from the summer heat. LED lighting highlights the splendid historic walls. Disabled access and impeccable restrooms are available.

21/02/2026: Yesterday they lost two customers. Definitely. A friend of mine and I ordered takeout sandwiches, and the meat was full of connective tissue that was really hard to chew. We even tried the meat on its own, and I can say it had virtually no flavor, a disappointment. This wasn't prime ground beef at all, it wasn't even second-grade, probably third-grade... Unfortunately, I repeat, a total disappointment.

12/02/2026: Second consecutive delivery with inedible meat, no response to emails so far. It's a shame, everything had always gone great in the past, but now there's clearly a problem that needs to be resolved.
