11/08/2024: Fantastic dinner - well worth the short walk from the centre. The menu has plenty of options with regional specialties including four types of cappellacci di zucca, the Ferrara pasta hats stuffed with pumpkin. We had them with duck ragu and slices of fresh truffle - it was to die for. We also enjoyed tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, an aubergine, tomato and basil starter and a tagliata of beef with rocket and grana that was fantastic. We finished off with a very nice pistachio semifreddo and washed the lot down with their very drinkable house wine which is served by the glass or in carafes. Service was good especially the warm welcome from the chef who took time to explain the dishes to us. We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back next time we are in Ferrara.

03/11/2024: Fantastic location for ceremonies, surrounded by a splendid park that can accommodate outdoor events set up with attention to every detail. The view over the valley is beautiful. The structure is also very well looked after internally. Nice menu, nice presentation of the dishes, very friendly staff

21/07/2024: They waited for us close to closing time in the afternoon, after having told them that we would arrive on foot from the RCF Arena. Very kind, friendly and jovial, top meat: tender and succulent.

14/07/2024: In the last year I have drastically reduced my meat consumption but every now and then I allow myself to break the rule. And this time I chose the Trattoria del Macellaio Fornaciari in Reggio Emilia. Booked the table with 10/11 days' notice, I arrive on site and sit down (even though it seemed to me that they hadn't marked my reservation..) The menu offers a vast selection of meats, including foreign ones, but processed on Italian soil. There is also a part with more valuable cuts, also in price. I decide for a medallion of Piedmontese fassona fillet with a side of potatoes; good yes and a lot but it doesn't scream miracle. Not even the baked potatoes which in my opinion were from the day before and reheated at the moment so a little... limp. The mascarpone with chocolate flakes for dessert, however, is good. Too bad for the very… “washed out” coffee, pass the term to me. I think the price is correct for the historical moment but a bit high overall. The restaurant, however, is modern and well furnished, with moderate air conditioning. Easy to find and with parking both in front and nearby. I went willingly, I ate well and the owner is really knowledgeable and nice but I have been to more engaging places. But I promote it and recommend it as they recommended it to me!

07/08/2024: I have always lived in Parma and I tried this restaurant as a birthday present for myself, with my partner. We opted to create 2 à la carte menus, one from land and one from sea. The quality of the products used is indisputable and the skill with which they are cooked and presented represents an added value that is not easy to find in another restaurant in Parma. Courteous, competent and discreet service, the sommelier was able to recommend the most suitable wines for our dishes. Given what was written previously and the pleasant additions from the kitchen, an expense of around €90 per person in 2024 is below the expense of restaurants of the same level. Unforgettable experience, we will definitely return.

19/11/2024: Excellent mixed starter of cured meats. The raw ham melted in your mouth. The first courses are delicious (tagliatelle with culatello ragout and anolini in broth). Also try their desserts! Fast and courteous service. Convenient for parking and proximity to the highway.

29/11/2024: The food is good and the "tavern" quantity is not always respected. In detail, the mixed cheese starter is disappointing for the €15 paid, really paltry. The meat is good, the basket of bread is rich, the wine in bulk is good. Finally... a smile costs nothing and "buys" the customer.

10/11/2024: The only negative note is that immediately after placing the order I was unable to change the second course chosen, even though the starter had not yet arrived.

01/10/2024: Buona carne alla brace e bel posto. Pulizia e servizio molto buono. Solo un appunto. Le porzioni del bracere, e di altre pietanze sono un pò scarse, un pezzo di carne in più e 20 grammi di pasta in più migliorerebbe non poco l'esperienza. Cmq positivo in generale

03/12/2024: Locale storico, ambiente informale ma piacevole, di ottima qualità sia le pizze, ordinabili con diversi impasti che le specialità di carne e pesce, con prezzi adeguati. Buono e cortese anche il servizio. Sicuramente consigliato.

05/09/2024: Conoscevamo un posto quassù dove affogare le stanchezze della giornata in un pasto indimenticabile: il menu di assaggi a prezzo fisso dalle molteplici portate. Complice la pandemia, l’inflazione, e forse anche un pò di tentativo di ‘alzare il livello’, il sopra citato menù si è ridotto a un appetizer, 2 primi (una pasta e una crema), un secondo di carne; tutte porzioni piccole, che vanno bene se ne fai 10 di assaggi, no 3. In compenso la qualità dei piatti si è elevata a tentativi di nouvelle cuisine, fino a proporre una frittura di totani/gamberi per intervallare i primi (a base di saporitissimi funghi e altre cose ‘di montagna’) e il secondo di buonissima carne: ma che c’entra? Se ai francesci piace pulirsi la bocca col pesce fritto tra un primo e un secondo prettamente ‘di terra’ sono affari loro, se lo voglio vado in Francia, non in cima al Cimone... Vabè, forse il problema sono io, ma qst posto è cambiato, provatelo e giudicate voi come.

29/08/2024: Pessimo sotto tutti i punti di vista. Prenotato per 7 a pranzo il 16/08/2024, nei tavoli esterni. Personale assente per circa 45 minuti per le ordinazioni. Antipasti (già pronti ) serviti subito. Ritardo di circa 1 ora per le portate successive. Serviti prima i secondi e poi i primi dopo circa 2 ore e una "energica" lamentela. Gestore che litiga e urla davanti a tutta la clientela con il gestore del trackfood posizionato davanti i tavoli....camerieri che litigano con altri commensali che lamentano ritardi e sbagli di portate, e girano confusi tra i tavoli senza sapere cosa fare... UN DISASTRO TOTALE...peccato, perchè in mezzo a questo marasma qualche piatto assaggiato non era neanche male....alla fine, dopo insistenze e quasi 3 ore a tavola, ci è stato fatto un generoso sconto, che però non cancella il pranzo comunque rovinato. PESSIMO...DA EVITARE

23/08/2024: Cibo scadente, tortellini pasticciati appena mangiabili, cotoletta con la panatura che si staccava dalla carne dura, tagliata normale, crescentine imbevute di olio. Ho ordinato un primo me ne sono arrivati 2 sbagliati con un aspetto disgustoso non ho avuto il coraggio di assaggiarli. Camerieri che non ti ascoltano ci hanno portato da mangiare e non da bere. Siamo andati per pagare e dopo tutto questo disservizio non ci hanno lasciato neanche il caffè! Sconsolato!
