We've been twice and had excellent Bolognese, amazing pasta with grilled aubergines and incredible grilled squid (whole squid!). Our only regret is not knowing about this place beforehand. 06/07/2025: Honestly I have been to this pub for the second time and I found it a bit worse than the first period in which it opened, the waiters already at the beginning of the evening seemed tired, a bit disorganized, some not very attentive or too chatty, the atmosphere yesterday left a bit to be desired, there are some errors in the menu, the food in reference to the pizza is too much crust and not enough pizza, we took a €25 platter with cheeses and cold cuts that left a lot to be desired, in Catania the meat platter is €15 and fish is €18, for the bill we called them 3 times and it was prime time and the place wasn't even full, surely the organization and the quality/price ratio of the dishes need to be improved. I don't think I'll go back, it's a shame because the place is beautiful

Soft on the inside and slightly toasted on the outside, it holds everything together without ever becoming mushy. Every ingredient – ​​from the melted cheese to the sauce In short, it's not just a sandwich: it is an experience. If you haven't tried it yet, you are truly missing out on something special. 31/07/2025: I decided to give it a try because I kept seeing lots of people (mostly young Italians) every night. What a disappointment! I sat outside and after 5 minutes without anyone coming to take my order, I went in to ask if I had to order inside. Without listening --and language was not an issue because I speak Italian-- the waitress gave my table to a couple that had come in after me and told me to sit inside (where it was quite hot). No explanation given. Just told me to sit at a specific table (same table size but inside). The food is a bit strange. If you are used to burgers, best skip this place. My burger came with a brioche bun rather than a burger bun, which didn´t go very well with the blue cheese and the aioli sauce. This is supposed to be their original burger, but I wonder how it can be popular. The meat could have used a bit more time on the grill. Considering it came up to €18 for a burger and a bottle of water, I would say there are much better places in Verona to eat a proper burger and especially --in a city where the locals are so polite -- with much better service.

Then I have to say that the ability to adapt almost all the burgers to vegetarian options alone deserves 5 stars. We had to confirm that the plant-based nuggets were actually vegetarian because they were truly amazing! Reservations are highly recommended; at 7:30 PM there were only a few unreserved tables, and they had to be vacated within an hour. When booking, you can also specify where you'd like to sit.
