Booo, I'm sorry for my experience, maybe it was a coincidence but I wasn't satisfied, and hot chips, cold sandwiches, you should go and admire the stars, which I was also kind to review like this, instead of zero and the tables, let's not talk about it, I chose the one with the least dirtiness and cleaned it. I only stayed because I had already paid, otherwise I would have got up and left.

Moral of the story, I spent almost 50 euros. No comment. You'll never see me again!!!!!

We waited with two children for a table, but when we got there, they decided to favor friends from the town who had just arrived, greeting each other in the kitchen. There's a fine line between bad luck and total lack of professionalism, and the management of this establishment has demonstrated they don't even know what that is. Accidents can happen: a young and clearly inexperienced waiter spilled an entire drink on me, topping it with a dangerous shower of glass shards. So far, human understanding. The mistake is excusable, and my criticism isn't directed at the young man. The problem is what happened (or didn't happen) next. The establishment's response to a soaked customer surrounded by sharp glass? The magnanimous offer of some chips to "apologize." A gesture bordering on the comical and almost sounding like a joke. But the real spectacle unfolded at the cash register. The person handling the payment didn't flinch, despite having witnessed the scene, introducing themselves and making me pay the full bill, without the slightest hint of a discount or any genuine courtesy. Let me be clear: the problem isn't the money, but the mentality. Such petty and venal greed has the power to ruin a person's evening forever. You demonstrated a total lack of tact, preferring to collect a few extra euros rather than save face and the well-being of one of your guests. You made a terrible impression, to say the least. Needless to say, I will never return. Not recommended for anyone looking for, let alone an excellent experience, but at least a modicum of decency.

20/08/2025: I had the opportunity to try the sandwich at The Burger Bros at the Scalea amusement park, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional: the meat was fantastic, the cheddar was real cheese sliced ​​on the spot, and the bacon was high-quality, not the usual processed product. The owner and his wife were extremely kind and made sure we were satisfied. I will definitely be back; it's undoubtedly the best sandwich in Scalea.

02/08/2026: A surprising restaurant at the end of Via Lampedusa, right at the entrance to the Lampedusa sanctuary. The view is magnificent. A balcony allows you to enjoy a coffee while taking in the view. We also ate on the street-side terrace. Authentic, flavorful cuisine. Generous portions of delicious pasta, and equally good desserts. We tried the gnocchi with walnut sauce and the kebabs, which were absolutely delicious. The chocolate soufflé and tiramisu were truly delectable. All for a very reasonable price: 21 euros per person, including drinks. The owner is lovely, and the atmosphere is authentic. We had a wonderful time... in suspense!

Don't go there on those nights: screaming children running all over the place, zero supervision from the managers who really allow everything. I understand that much of the blame lies with the children's parents who leave them out in the wild, but since it's a public establishment, the environment must be healthy for ALL customers (and also for the poor employees who won't be able to take it anymore at the end of the night). August 14, I paid for the king menu and received a regular menu. Hot drinks and no ice despite the ice machine having been broken for weeks. Staff who don't even know the size of the menus. April 10, I order the mini burgers and ask at the cashier, as I always have, to remove the onion. A young man is serving me, but meanwhile his colleague who is taking other orders turns to me and tells me that the burgers are standard. I've never seen service like this, with so much rancor.
