27/07/2025: Gelato was ok, service with waitress terrible

27/07/2025: Two other friends and I stopped by and ordered some Ice Caffès. They were practically watered down. The waitress came to clear the table and asked if everything was okay. My friend then pointed out that the Ice Caffès were very watered down. She apologized, and that seemed to be the end of the matter. After about ten minutes, a woman came by, visibly annoyed, and asked who had complained about the Ice Caffès. My friend explained that they tasted like water. She arrogantly replied that Ice Caffès are made with Americano coffee. My friend reiterated that it was really watered down anyway. She insisted, still in the same tone, that they make a lot of them every day and no one had ever complained. Then she walked away muttering something about my friend, but we didn't understand what. So, if you stop there, I strongly advise against the Ice Caffè: it tastes like dirty water!

16/03/2025: Trovato, su consiglio di amici abitudinari al Vinitaly di Verona, e che dire... soddisfattissimi. Qualità del cibo eccelsa.... Abbiamo bevuto un Valpolicella strepitoso. Antipasto di qualità, e dei Bigoli all'anatra e tartufo da urlo. Il prezzo è in linea con la qualità. Servizio eccellente. Al prox giro in quel di Verona sarà una tappa fissa.

11/03/2025: Tornati da Ugo sabato a pranzo. Sempre tutto ottimo! Radicchio e gratinato al formaggio e sarde in saor per antipasto e pappardelle con ragù di agnello buonissimo Ottimo vino rosso valpolicella superiore ripasso. Sempre consigliato!!

14/06/2025: After the change of management the quality of the brioches has gone down. Before they were soft, fragrant and crunchy on the outside now they are smaller, hard and seem greasy. The quality of the hazelnut and pistachio cream is very good. The staff is very kind and young

13/05/2025: Unfortunately after the reopening and change of management the quality of the brioches has extremely decreased.. brioches much smaller than before no longer so soft and fragrant.. they seem from the day before.. The staff is as always kind, but it is not enough to raise the rating. I saw that they are looking for 1 experienced pastry chef as well as 1 apprentice.. let's hope that the hiring is decisive to return to the levels of before.. GO

02/08/2025: Vi bestilte vann med en gang vi satt oss, fikk ikke vann før servitøren om lenge kom og ville ta bestilling. Da bestilte vi to carbonara, hvorav den ene måtte være glutenfri på grunn av cøliaki. Servitøren kunne knapt svare på spørsmål vedrørende glutenfritt, og ble tydelig oppgitt og irritert over spørsmål. Samtidig med bestilling av maten bestilte vi en spritz og ett glass rødvin. Lenge etter bestilling kom servitøren med vann og spritz, før hun irritert forsvant. Jeg måtte gå inn til manageren på stedet og etterspørre rødvinen min, og da kom servitøren og unnslyldte seg med at hun hadde glemt bestillingen. Manageren var ikke særlig imøtekommende eller interessert i å skape en bedre opplevelse for oss. Gjør oppmerksom på at dette stedet skriver i sin meny som en gimmick at alle kunder skal være fornøyd, og at de ber kunder si ifra med en gang dersom det skulle være noe - slik at de kan gjøre kunden fornøyd. Dette er første gang jeg har sett en meny med en slik oppfordring, og da blir det ekstra tåpelig å bli møtt med så elendig kundeservice. Maten var OK, veldig salt. Sure ansatte. Her tjener de penger bare på lokasjonen sin, og trenger ikke bry seg. Ikke bryr de seg heller.. Vil fraråde dette stedet. Det finne så mange bedre steder i Verona at det blir for dumt å legge igjen pengene sine her..

02/07/2025: Tuvimos una experiencia agradable aquí con buena comida y un personal amable y acogedor. Aunque se trata de una zona muy turística, el café tenía un ambiente local y bueno.

10/08/2025: This excellent, lake front restaurant/ bar Offers a unique experience with waiters being funny and professional with outstanding service. With food ranging from smoked trout with carbonara source to big juicy beef burgers And for desserts I recommend the the tiramisu what has a creamy inside and a nice chocolaty top or the cookie selection with 5 flavourful cookie balls. The bread is freshly baked and served as a freebie on your table. The drink were amazing they had all sorts of drinks ranging from non- alcoholic cocktails to local larger. The seats range from under the shade to an excellent view with a nice gentle breeze. (Went at lunch)

10/08/2025: Wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts gleich mehrmals hier essen. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt, auch Vegetarier finden hier eine Auswahl an Speisen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und wir wurden auch gut beraten, als wir uns mal nicht entscheiden konnten. Wir haben uns durch das Personal absolut wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und lädt zum verweilen ein. Auch mit Hund ist man herzlich willkommen, was es für uns optimal gemacht hat.

20/06/2025: Bellissima locale con una meravigliosa terrazza sul Mincio . Persona molto gentile ( cosa non da poco) . Abbiamo preso un tris di polente e con calice di prosecco. Tutto per 9,5 a testa. Ci hanno inoltre portato ulteriori sneack… . Offerta superiore alla media della zona turistica. Ci torneremo sicuramente se in zona

27/07/2025: The gentlemen at the restaurant, located on a side street in Verona, were very polite. The food, while not particularly delicious, was average for the price. The aperol was better prepared than other places I've tried.

29/07/2025: Tucked behind a wine shop in Hotel Veronesi La Torre , Signorvino La Torre opens out into a bright, lively space. The decor is modern yet warm, featuring marble tables, green and rust-toned elements, exposed brick, and industrial-style lighting. The restaurant was at around 60% capacity at 8:30 PM but filled up considerably by 10 PM, mostly with a local crowd, which added to the lively — though at times noisy — atmosphere. Service was friendly but a bit disorganised; we had to wait for cutlery even after the food arrived, slightly delaying the meal. That said, the staff made an effort to create a special moment with a playful relighting candle on the tiramisu. Food & Drink • what was meant to be the Complimentary bread had a 3 euro charge for each person. It was a nice touch, though it would have benefited from butter or oil. • Set Menu (35€) offers great value — two courses and two wines. À la carte options are also available, including a bottle of Amarone for just 34€, a real find. Starters: • Fried Mix Platter: Courgette flowers, stuffed olives, and cheese arancini. Rich, crispy, and satisfying — ideal for sharing. Mains: • Mezze Maniche alla Carbonara with Black Truffle (+4€) Rich, creamy, and deeply flavoured with Romano cheese and truffle flakes. The crispy pork jowl added great texture — a standout dish and excellent value at 17€ total. • Cotoletta Rustica (“Zorzi” style) Thin, crisp, and well-seasoned. Served with roast potatoes — simple but satisfying. Desserts: • Tiramisu was a letdown — the sponge-to-cream ratio was off, lacking the lightness expected. • Sbrisolona Mantovana (crumbly nut biscuit with crème anglaise) was average — pleasant but unremarkable. Verdict: Signorvino La Torre delivers good food at fair prices, especially the pasta and wine. While the service had minor flaws and the desserts underwhelmed, the vibrant ambiance and solid main courses make it a worthwhile stop — especially if you’re a truffle lover or wine enthusiast.

28/06/2025: Signorvino, un bel negozio dove osservare, pensare e assaggiare vino per ogni gusto . Guidata da Vanessa ho scelto alcune bottiglie di Amarone Ca' La Bionda, Lugana Ca'dei Frati, Lugana le Marzaiole e altri. Professionalità e anche buoni prezzi . Grazie

15/05/2025: Good morning Mr. Vincenzo, it's easy to judge with a review, perhaps while sitting comfortably in your armchair, discredit an entire business that has existed for more than thirty years.... And probably something good, in these 30 years, in addition to "mixing butter and sugar" we will have also done. Next time, if you have any issues to resolve, I would invite you to come to the pastry shop in person. Or at least call me on my landline, but not to use my private number. 22/06/2025: A little slice of escape from the world. Go in, order a drink and then find one of the many little hideaways that will take you away from the world outside. Good value, friendly staff and chill vibes. Oh and 2 super chill cats! Thanks for the drinks, a core memento of our Italian road trip!

09/05/2025: Average pizzeria but service not up to par: several times when I ordered pizza I arrived at the appointed time to pay for it and take it away and inevitably they were always about to put it in the oven at that moment. If it happened on a Saturday night I can understand but even midweek days are not good. If a time is agreed upon, it must be respected.

01/05/2025: A fixed point when I'm out and about and don't feel like cooking. At the Biga pizzeria I tasted all the offerings. Pizza, loaf, shirt. I change every time, but the loaf and shirt remain my favourites, for a bit of a change. Crispy pasta and not at all "choppy" as is now fashionable in the city and in the vicinity of La Biga itself. Always fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly service in a quiet area just outside the centre. Absolutely recommended!
