24/06/2026: Just had breakfast, two croissants, juice, and a cappuccino served at the table for €10 without a receipt. When he asked me for €10, he didn't even have the courage to look me in the face.
I don't recommend it like that!!!
23/05/2026: Went in for a morning coffee - could not believe how rude & dismissive the staff were. If you want people to return to your business , try a smile and don’t slam the water glass and coffee cup onto the counter. Everywhere else we’ve experienced friendly service - not here. Don’t bother.

30/06/2026: The food was great, the Serrano ham and cheese pizza was delicious, the spaghetti was excellent, the service was friendly, and the beer was ice cold. 🍀 I'm so glad I ate here; it's quiet and the quality is good. I recommend it, away from the stress of the city center, and the whole place has a Romeo and Juliet theme.

17/05/2026: I don't usually write negative reviews, but I've never been treated so badly and arrogantly. Beware of the bald waiter. We wanted to have cake with my 84-year-old father and pushed two tables together at the edge of the table, as we had done without any problems in all the restaurants we'd visited on our entire vacation. The waiter completely lost his temper and loudly threw us out without any discussion. That's unacceptable.

02/05/2026: I've been a customer for years, and when the previous owners were there, everything was different: the pastry shop was well-kept and clean, with always sparkling windows. The croissants, coffee, and pastries were excellent, and the staff was tidy, kind, and attentive.
Now, with the new owners, I must unfortunately say that the situation has gotten much worse. The place is often dirty, from the windows to the coffee cups, teaspoons, and glasses, which I've found dirty several times. The quality of the products has also declined: the pastries aren't as good as they once were, and the croissants have deteriorated.
The staff, moreover, can sometimes be rude and inattentive: they sometimes forget to bring orders, like coffee or tea. It's a shame because I used to come here often with my children for breakfast. I would never go back.

I'm a student and was on a trip to Verona with my class and teacher.
Three girls ordered something to eat, yet the bartender and the owner categorically refused to let five of us use the bathroom.
This is pure greed... I would have understood if no one had consumed anything, but NO, this is not acceptable.
In the end, another girl and I who needed the restroom were unable to use it, even after several minutes of discussion between the teacher and the bartender.
Furthermore, the quality of the food was below average and the condition of the bathroom was pitiful (according to the girls who went there).
It's basically a place where greed and rudeness reign. I highly recommend it; go elsewhere.

16/05/2025: We had the misfortune of having dinner here. The lasagne was bland, watery and overcooked to the point of being mush, carbonara had turned into scrambled egg and the roast potatoes were soggy and cold. I expect everything was frozen and reheated in the microwave. I sent my lasagne back and staff then avoided our table for the rest of the meal, even when it was apparent that several dishes were untouched. They were indifferent when I mentioned the issues with the food. If I was the owner I would be extremely concerned that such poor standard of food is allowed to leave the kitchen as most of it was inedible.
17/04/2025: Ottimo per tutto! Cibo, Prezzi, Posizione! Ci torno sempre volentieri al Ristorante Pizzeria Vecchia Marina; Lo consiglio!
p.s. fanno anche un ulteriore sconto del 10% a chi alloggia all'attiguo Hotel Johnson ! (Ottimo Hotel che consiglio).
