14/11/2025: this place is exactly what we were looking for. awesome lowkey wine bar - full of locals. we sat down had a few non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails, played a few rounds of chess and called it a night. music was nice, drinks were fast and the food was great. we have saved it for our next visit. would recommend 11/10.

13/11/2025: Spritz with water or spritzed water?!?! I would have liked to receive a receipt, but when I asked if I could get one, they said, "Look for it in the trash."

28/11/2025: We went to this trattoria for dinner with some friends: the place is charming, with a typical Venetian atmosphere. We relied entirely on the host for our choice of dishes, who offered us a menu consisting of appetizers and two first courses. The quality of the dishes was good, with fresh ingredients. However, some appetizers were portions large enough to be shared between five people, making it impossible for everyone to sample every dish—a real shame. The service also left much to be desired: little attention was paid to explaining the dishes, rather long wait times, and little attention was paid to the table. In short, the cuisine was quality, but the portions were very limited and the final price was decidedly exorbitant. I hate to say it, but leaving the table feeling hungry after a dinner, despite having eaten high-quality products at a high price, is not something anyone likes.

28/11/2025: Fabulous meal - best we ate in Venice. It was a very quiet Monday in November but they still made the evening special. Delicious pasta, lamb, fish and the tiramisu is not to be missed! Excellent wine too.

24/12/2025: One of the best places in Mestre to have breakfast, all the staff are super friendly.

02/12/2025: Inedible brioche. You bite into it and everything falls apart, full of margarine.

13/12/2025: We went for lunch yesterday, and we won't be returning because the dish, aside from the €20 price tag, was worth it. The fish was fresh, but it had no flavor at all; in fact, it had such an unpleasant taste that I couldn't even finish it. Served for €20 on a black plastic plate! Not recommended.

04/12/2025: The fish was good, but unfortunately the execution disappointed us. The pasta was too oily, not al dente. The sea bass was good, but overcooked and so dry. I don't think I'll return because I think Chioggia has better options. And if I can, some background music wouldn't be a bad idea.

29/12/2025: We recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience. Located in the centre of Chioggia, it’s a small and cozy place. Most staff was quite friendly, and the food was prepared and served quickly. The quality of the dishes was great, products tasted fresh and the price–quality ratio was quite absolutely fair. I ordered the Spaghetti Vongole and the Fritto Misto, and both were delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily come back. Quite obvious since it´s Chioggia, but just in case, no parking options + could be difficult for wheelchairs due to e.g. toilettes located on 2nd floor. Reservation recommended

04/01/2026: Trattoria da Primo – a truly wonderful experience. The team warmly welcomed us and shared the history of their family-run restaurant, which made the visit feel incredibly special and personal. For the first time, I learned about a traditional Venetian aperitif made with peach and Prosecco—such a delightful discovery. The pasta was exceptional, full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was lovely, friendly, and authentic, making us feel right at home. If you want to have a fantastic time and experience genuine Venetian hospitality, this is absolutely the place to visit again and again.

10/01/2026: My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times, and what can I say? Excellent ingredients, expertly and intelligently prepared, with unique yet subtle pairings. The service is attentive and timely, yet never intrusive. The best.

22/10/2025: Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sottomarina. The food was excellent, and the service was truly excellent (I assume from the owner), so it deserves 5 stars. I gave 4 stars to the atmosphere (even though it's very clean and charming) only because I like eating outside (especially in the summer), and unfortunately there's no outdoor seating. That's more than fair considering the quality of the food and wines. Congratulations!

02/12/2025: I stayed for one night on the fly, so I only had a few hours to give a full review. The room was clean, but being a loft, there was a very low area where I bumped my head. The lady was kind enough to let me in an hour before check-in (2:00 PM). One major drawback was that in the morning there was a lot of noise from outside. Overall, I would recommend it; it's in a great location (even though the city is really small).

23/09/2025: We had a pizza and a lasagna! Both were very delicious, the waiters were very nice. The food was prepared quickly, we were eating in about 5 minutes after ordering!

15/01/2026: I loved dining at this restaurant tonight! It is just a door down from my hotel and it is open late for us to get dinner. Our server was very friendly and open to chat with us as well. But over everything, the food is INCREDIBLE! Our first night we ordered grilled branzino and I had never eaten it cooked as well as this, along with vegetable soup. The soup was so good that we decided to come back tonight!

16/11/2025: We brought two large almond cakes with us to Croatia. That says it all about this artisan bakery. Even though they didn't have a cake box, the girls packed them in such a way that they survived the flight without any problems. And we ate a few of them at the hotel during our stay. Highly commendable. Good luck.

06/01/2026: Fantastic experience! Very Romantic Barbacani is truly one of a kind. We requested a window seat and were given a beautiful table overlooking the canal, the view alone made the experience special. The fairy lights around the window at our table made it feel even more fairytale-like and incredibly romantic. The flowers on the table were a lovely touch and really added to the atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the steak in peppercorn sauce and it was to die for perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. Every bite was outstanding. From the stunning canal view to the magical setting and amazing food, everything exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Barbacani to anyone looking for a memorable and romantic dining experience.
