22/05/2025: Gute Getränke, toller Service an der Bar und echtes italienischer Flair. Wer Venedig etwas abseits der Tour-Fallen erleben will ist hier richtig.

20/05/2025: Zeer leuke bar , lekkere hapjes en drankjes . De bediening is zeer vriendelijk . Een aanrader voor een kleine stop in Venetië.

22/10/2025: Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sottomarina. The food was excellent, and the service was truly excellent (I assume from the owner), so it deserves 5 stars. I gave 4 stars to the atmosphere (even though it's very clean and charming) only because I like eating outside (especially in the summer), and unfortunately there's no outdoor seating. That's more than fair considering the quality of the food and wines. Congratulations!

23/10/2025: Great place, emphasis on fish, but other choices too. We didn't book, they fitted us in, but before long they were turning people away, which is always a good sign to its popularity. We had prawn cocktail, and fried Prawns and sardines to start, very large portions for a starter. We then had sea bass, and John Dory for main course, both delicious. A vibrant atmosphere, highly recommended.

21/10/2025: A hidden spot away from the city center. Very unique and with delicious food. These are places you stumble across unintentionally, and they're worth coming back for. It's essential to book.

01/11/2025: I've been to several nearby places and they were too busy. This one was practically empty for no reason! The food was delicious and the waiters were friendly and helpful!! It should be busier!

29/10/2025: We were looking for a nice spot for an evening glass of wine and you could not ask for anything better. Quiet canalside location, friendly staff and clearly popular with locals. Well worth getting off the tourist trail for this place!

19/11/2025: A welcoming place with traditional specialties. We tried many different dishes, some really good, but others were nothing special. An interesting place, but very expensive for the average quality of the dishes.

08/11/2025: Everything is spectacular, the prices are low, and the atmosphere is authentic. You never stop learning here.

16/11/2025: A high-quality pastry shop. Lots of vegan options, meaning vegan pastries offered alongside the traditional ones—not the usual jam croissant. It's a bit out of my area because I live in another city, but if I'm passing through, I'll definitely stop by.

09/12/2025: Wandering leisurely through Murano, we found this restaurant. A small door and a red awning. Upon entering, we were greeted by a large courtyard and a dining room filled with happy people having lunch. We were served with great cordiality and speed. We ordered local dishes, full of fresh, well-prepared, and delicious seafood. Fair price, pleasant atmosphere, very kind staff. We recommend it!

07/12/2025: The worst restaurant I've ever been to in the Venice region. The service was terrible! They promised to seat us in 5 minutes at the entrance, but we waited 20, and three groups of people were let in ahead of us, even though we were first. People arrived and ordered after us, and our kids' pizzas arrived after them. They forgot to bring our main course. It took 20 minutes for the wine to arrive. The pizza chef is some kind of celebrity, but the pizza was heated up in an electric oven.

02/06/2025: La mejor comida general que tuvimos en Venecia. Se promociona como un restaurante de carne, lo cual es cierto, pero debes saber si la carne es tu medida o no. Fue simplemente la experiencia más puntual, el nivel de servicio y la calidad de la comida que tuvimos a lo largo de 8 noches visitando Venecia. El estilo de servicio es relajado y amable, pero atento, justo lo que quieres. La comida nos quitó los calcetines varias veces; ¡recordará los ravioles de espárragos por algún tiempo! El vino es muy bien valorado. ¿Cuándo has visto una lista en un restaurante más agradable que es un promedio de 22 e por botella. . . Juro que es el promedio aquí. Otra opción, que aprovechamos, es tener el vino de la casa (tinto o blanco) que es en botella, pero ella solo te cobrará por la cantidad que bebas. Bebimos media botella del vino tinto de la casa Merlot (estuvo maravilloso y golpeando muy por encima de su grado de pago! , muy cuidadosamente seleccionado yo diría) y el cargo era de 12 e por esa mitad. Parecía más que justo. En general volveríamos en un santiamén. De hecho escuchamos una mesa cercana tratando de conseguir otra reserva para la noche siguiente, tuvieron que tomar los asientos de las 9 pm para hacerlo, y lo hicieron! Sí, debes irte. Nota reservas por teléfono solamente (¿por qué! ) así que tuve nuestra llamada del hotel para hacer la reserva.

30/11/2025: We had a regular reservation at the restaurant but coming in they did offer the table outside if we are good paying the minimum amount for the experience. We immediately say yes. Not because we are loaded or really able to afford whatever but having that once in a lifetime experience of being in Venice and do people plus boat watching by the water while enjoying the wonderful meals curated on their menu. We get to say hi to the gondolas passing by. Take note that we are both very introverted. But something sparks in us that day. It could also be about the energy and romance vibes in Venice. Our takeaway on the experience in Ai Barbacani is that, try to be spontaneous and enjoy every second of what it can offer. Money will always come back, but time won’t. Thank you for the most amazing staff they have. This for sure unlocks a core memory that we will share to our future kids one day. And maybe come back with them if given the chance.

07/10/2025: Mine was a quick lunch. Pasta with tomato sauce. The location speaks for itself, the food was good quality. I think it's excessive to charge €7.00 for a mediocre beer. The other thing that left me perplexed was the cover charge, which I paid €3.50 while other reviews had shown it was €3.00.

25/09/2025: Excellent delicate seafood in what feels like a film set of an historic square (do look inside the church). The sardine starter was especially standout, plus the “fish pie” which was a beautifully composed lasagne. We enjoyed the sparkling wine too. Thank you for your warm welcome at the end of season.

14/11/2025: this place is exactly what we were looking for. awesome lowkey wine bar - full of locals. we sat down had a few non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails, played a few rounds of chess and called it a night. music was nice, drinks were fast and the food was great. we have saved it for our next visit. would recommend 11/10.

13/11/2025: Spritz with water or spritzed water?!?! I would have liked to receive a receipt, but when I asked if I could get one, they said, "Look for it in the trash."

29/11/2025: Extremely rude. Put these people to work somewhere other than Venice and they close after three days.

21/11/2025: It's located opposite the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, which can be admired from the bar. Good cicchetti, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, fair prices.

23/11/2025: Nice place, excellent top-quality food, polite and friendly staff. Maybe not too cheap, 3 first courses (2 fish), 1 water, 1 spritz €91.

20/11/2025: incredible! if you need a spot for lunch while visiting Burano this is the place. we had the calabrese pizza and it was one of the best things we ate in italy. truly a perfect pizza. we also had a bottle of rosé and it was wonderful. staff was very kind as well. could not recommend it enough!
