12/08/2025: Prices have gone up, which would be fine even if it weren't for the fact that the croissants are getting smaller and smaller, you can finish them in one bite, and the filling is nonexistent. Don't worry, if you add 15 grams more filling, you won't fail. I'd like to know what criteria are used to make the filling and the size of the croissants. I highly recommend listening to the customers (I'm not the only one complaining about this) and not to some other advisor who perhaps doesn't even know the basics of pastry making. I don't want to name names, but there's a pastry shop nearby that has cheaper croissants, but they actually open them up to fill them, so the filling is all over the croissant. It doesn't seem to have gone out of business; on the contrary, it's been there forever and is always full. Take this as an example instead of raising prices and making increasingly inferior products. The filling issue, however, is what gets on my nerves the most. I've never eaten a croissant with so little filling anywhere, not even the industrial ones. What a shame!

26/07/2025: But how can you finish all the cream croissants at 8:00 in the morning?! And it's a pastry shop! Waking up and making new ones... right? Not to mention the prices...

14/07/2025: Finalmente una cucina di quelle che piacciono a me,nata e cresciuta da queste parti e trapiantata a Torino, sincera e senza troppi fronzoli ,in cui la freschezza del pesce e l'abilità nel trattare la materia prima la fanno da padrona. Nota di merito alla grigliata di pesce con anguilla fatta alla brace semplicemente squisita!! Prezzo onestissimo in relazione alla qualità. Personale attento,gentile e simpatico. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta che sarò da queste parti.

18/08/2025: I stayed in this hotel from August 4 to 7 and we are delighted. We had the junior suite room for 4 people (we were two friends with our daughters aged 9 and 10) with a large double bed and a bunk bed in the entrance of the room. Just one downside concerning the bunk bed, the barrier is quite low at the top. Not suitable for young children. We put the cushions to secure it. The quadruple room is very pleasant, sufficiently spacious. Decoration both modern and baroque. Air-conditioned room. Very comfortable bed. Modern bathroom with a large Italian shower. Only downside is there is no storage in the bathroom, nothing to put things on (this could be improved). There is even a small terrace with a table for 4 (very practical, we bought slices of pizza that we were able to eat there one evening before going outside to eat ice cream!). The room on the second floor with stairs. Very surmountable. The staff is lovely. The hotel is very well located, in the heart of the historic center, 100 m from the Rialto Bridge and the Rialto vaporetto stop (very convenient for reaching Venice train station). In a quiet little street. No noise, we slept very well. The breakfast is sufficient. There is a little bit of everything, sweet and savory. In short, we absolutely do not regret our choice, very good value for money and we highly recommend it. The other hotels in the area are much more expensive. The area is safe. What more could you ask for?

03/08/2025: I recently completed a three-night stay at this hotel and found it to be a good value overall. While there were a few minor issues, I would still recommend it, provided you keep a couple of things in mind. The hotel's location is excellent, though it's situated down a quiet alley that could feel a bit intimidating late at night. Inside, the staff at the reception desk were consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are nice and great-looking, but a closer look revealed a need for a deeper clean; I noticed a layer of dust when I looked under the bed. A small point, but one to mention. We also had a minor issue with housekeeping not restocking our toilet paper until we specifically requested it at the front desk. My biggest concern was with the breakfast, which was quite inconsistent and is easily skippable. The offerings seemed to change daily—some mornings there was juice and other times only water. On one occasion, there was muesli but no milk. The ham was also not of the best quality. Despite these points, the hotel offers good value for money, and nice rooms outweigh the minor inconveniences. I would recommend this hotel, but I'd suggest skipping the breakfast.

22/07/2025: Helt gjennomsiktig turistfelle.. Grei service, maten smakte godt, men entrecôten var 5mm tykk og godt gjennomstekt. En god entrecôte er 3 fingre tykk, og servere entrecôte under 2 fingre i tykkelse skulle være forbudt. Det er også helt unødvendig å spørre om du vil ha den medium stekt, når den er 5mm tykk. Den er uansett gjennomstekt når den treffer grillen.

20/07/2025: Sono stata nel 2022 pagato una follia 90€ antipasto due granseole e un filetto di branzino con una bottiglia di acqua naturale. Servizio lento e mal curato.

27/04/2025: I only give one star for Angela. I used to come as a child to eat pasta. I returned after years to bring my son. I come here every now and then when I come back from abroad just for Angela. The owners are rude, grumpy, rude, even towards their employee. The service is deplorable, they make you uncomfortable, the wait is eternal. It's a shame for one of the few historic pastry shops left on TV.

22/08/2025: You absolutely must try the brioches, margheritas, and mini doughnuts. It can be a bit noisy at peak times. The inside seating is the best.

11/08/2025: €1.90 for a brioche is arrogant. I don't pay that much, not even in Piazza delle Erbe. High prices, mediocre quality. Never again.

03/08/2025: A wonderful place, carefully decorated, where time seems to stand still. I drank an excellent almond iced coffee and had a profound conversation with Stefano, the owner. He also transmits his passion for his work to his customers. A truly positive experience!

26/08/2025: Stopped by for a bruschetta for lunch. I have to say, it was excellent, and the beers were also very good. Clean atmosphere and fast service.

23/08/2025: A place near the Alpini Bridge. We stopped for a quick lunch. They sat us inside at a table at the back of the room that felt like a cave. We asked for the Wi-Fi password, but it didn't work where we were. We ordered two burgers that tasted practically nothing. They gave us a paper tablecloth and napkin. The sandwiches arrived, and I was forced to ask for cutlery. No condiments or sauce for the fries. The waitresses seemed annoyed and sullen when I asked for them; after all, it doesn't cost much to smile at customers. I wouldn't recommend it. It's a shame, so little would be enough!

22/05/2025: Fuimos por una calle trasera ya que queríamos encontrar un lugar tranquilo. Vimos pegatinas de consejero de viaje en la ventana y pensamos, esto será bueno. ¡Nos equivocamos! Tenemos comida de su menú mixto. Mi mamá empezó a venir y la mía no. Entonces mi entrante vino a mi plato con mi principal. Estoy seguro de que esto era para que pareciera más grande. Mi mamá pollo vino plano como una tortita y no sabía a pollo. A un lado estaba un poco vegetariano. La pasta de marisco que tenía estaba húmeda y algo que no querrías comer. Cuando me acerqué al personal para decir que esta comida no es agradable se volvieron muy groseros y nos culparon por no gustarnos. No se preocupan por sus clientes, solo quieren tu dinero. Muy mal servicio. El peor restaurante y servicio que he tenido en Venecia: el gerente fue el peor y fue extremadamente irrespetuoso. Este es nuestro último día en Venecia y nos lo ha arruinado. Extremadamente mala experiencia. Mis madres muy molestas por haber tenido este restaurante como su última comida.

12/05/2025: Hemos estado en Osteria ae Sconte cuatro veces durante siete años. Nunca ha dejado de complacernos. Encontramos los ingredientes siempre frescos, las porciones justas y los lados muy buenos. El servicio es amable y conocedor. No hemos esperado demasiado tiempo para nada y se le avisará si hay una espera debido al tiempo de cocción o preparación. Esto se debe a que se cocina recién hecho para usted y no solo caliente. Los postres también eran buenos. El café perfecto y el precio razonable en general

15/05/2025: Good morning Mr. Vincenzo, it's easy to judge with a review, perhaps while sitting comfortably in your armchair, discredit an entire business that has existed for more than thirty years.... And probably something good, in these 30 years, in addition to "mixing butter and sugar" we will have also done. Next time, if you have any issues to resolve, I would invite you to come to the pastry shop in person. Or at least call me on my landline, but not to use my private number.
