Relaxed atmosphere, dogs welcome, and bowls available.
The view is breathtaking.
Prices are reasonable considering the exceptional location. Well-made Negronis and the option to sample local craft beers.
A place that's both a lounge and also perfect for contemplating the panoramic views.

20/04/2026: I've been frequenting this pastry shop for a while now. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and the inviting aroma of fresh pastries. The staff is young, friendly, and very professional, ready to offer advice and satisfy any request, providing fast and efficient service. The prices are in line with the quality of the products offered.
Last but not least, I'd like to highlight the efficiency and cleanliness of the restrooms, which is hard to come by for such a busy café.
This pastry shop is definitely recommended to anyone with a sweet tooth.

17/02/2026: For goodness sake! I lingered for tea and a whole-wheat croissant (which tasted like nothing) and left smelling so bad of fried food (presumably pancakes) that I'll even have to take my backpack to the cleaners. Terrible.
11/02/2026: Excellent pastry shop, I ordered galani and fritters for lunch with relatives. Everything was fresh and delicious.

30/03/2026: This morning I went for breakfast, choosing this bar over the new one next door, and I ordered a simple cream croissant and a cappuccino, the worst choice of my life...
The croissant was flat, as if something heavy had landed on it, and it seemed old from the day before, while the cappuccino was made with foam that had been made who knows how long ago (in fact, the cappuccino was cold)...
The tramezzini, moreover, have shrunk over time and now seem like overpriced cicchetti.
In the end, the only nice thing is the location, especially during the spring and summer, when you can sit under the trees in the university area.

I think they've rested on their laurels. The tiramisu is very good (they say it's the best), but I'm sure there are better ones out there.
All this, given their prices, deserves to be served by a slightly more...

I still think the overall quality-price ratio isn't the best.
07/06/2026: This is the first time I have ever left a negative review for any place at all. I was almost amazed by how consistently rude and even passive-aggressive the staff member serving us was, from the very beginning until the end of our visit, when he saw us at the counter ready to pay, turned away, and continued unloading the cutlery basket from the dishwasher. The coffee is average. We will never come to this place again — too negative an experience.

23/07/2026: We arrived, sat down, a rude waiter came over, and they didn't take our order, so we left after waiting for over half an hour. At least we could go to the restroom, which was very dirty, by the way.

21/06/2026: A welcoming and charming place. Located on state highway 7 bis. A must-see for anyone passing through Marigliano. Good service, friendly staff. Delicious aperitifs, perfect for a morning coffee. The place has a large outdoor area with tables, and they also offer tobacco. I highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: What can I say? The place is old, the staff is old, the pastry shop is old (I'm talking about pastries, not freshness). The croissants are truly anonymous. Not to mention the owner, who has a grim face and no greeting, etc., etc. The decor, as is everything, is stuck in the '90s.
