10/06/2025: The rooms were dirty and the cleaning didn't do much. The only thing they did was make your bed but they didn't clean or replace towels. You don't even get toilet paper. There is a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee and no glasses either. The extra costs for breakfast are really not worth it. Super unsociable place to eat and very little choice. Nothing is fresh. We had to leave early in the morning and the man at the reception called us at 00:30 in the night to ask if we wanted a taxi.... There is also no elevator in the hotel.

05/03/2025: Les pâtes sont très bonnes mais malheureusement les assiettes ne sont pas assez copieuses pour le prix demandé. Nous sommes restées sur notre faim ! En revanche l’emplacement est superbe directement sur le canal !

22/12/2024: ABANDON ALL HOPE, YE WHO ENTER We arrived at the place and positioned ourselves in front of the counter, ready to order. We asked which flavors of brioche were still available and they were listed. However, while we were ordering, we were promptly interrupted: we should have given priority to the table already seated and reconsidered our choice, since some of the requested brioches were no longer available. #vabenelostesso, or maybe not. The situation worsened when we were told: "You know that you cannot enter with the dog". At that moment I thought: a beautiful silence was never written. It is worth remembering that, since 2013, the national legislation recognizes Pet Friendly places, adapting—with a nine-year delay—to European standards. At that point, I went out, left the dog outside and went back in to document the place. I found the floor covered in crumbs, ideal for an ant party. (I attach a photo.) Then I went to the bathroom and, unfortunately, I was shocked to find everything dirty there too. Perhaps the only cross-contamination to worry about was washing your hands and then getting them dirty again when drying them. I use the past tense because I described an experience that had been lived and concluded, which will certainly not be repeated in the future. P.S. The brioche was edible. One of those places where you stop if you're hungry, but if you're hungry... look elsewhere.

09/05/2025: Average pizzeria but service not up to par: several times when I ordered pizza I arrived at the appointed time to pay for it and take it away and inevitably they were always about to put it in the oven at that moment. If it happened on a Saturday night I can understand but even midweek days are not good. If a time is agreed upon, it must be respected.

01/05/2025: A fixed point when I'm out and about and don't feel like cooking. At the Biga pizzeria I tasted all the offerings. Pizza, loaf, shirt. I change every time, but the loaf and shirt remain my favourites, for a bit of a change. Crispy pasta and not at all "choppy" as is now fashionable in the city and in the vicinity of La Biga itself. Always fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly service in a quiet area just outside the centre. Absolutely recommended!

25/04/2025: The first thing that struck me was the environment and the atmosphere characterized by a theme that takes you back over the years, with a piano background and that magical touch almost giving you the perception of calm. It is a retro location that harks back to the Verona of years gone by. The elegant and polite staff give that touch that completes everything. There is no question about the quality of pastry products, San Marco is a guarantee! However, the shame remains that they too have adapted to only small formats and this is the only reason why I don't give five stars.

27/02/2025: 3 years after my last very positive review, Yesterday I was served a tiramisu heated in the microwave, let's remember the HACCP rules. The egg in the mascarpone is at risk with these temperature changes, the first spoonful I had warm mascarpone and frozen ladyfingers in my mouth. Paid the full price of dinner even after talking to the waitress about what happened It is with great regret that I have to change my last review

25/05/2025: Must try! Historic setting that is increasingly difficult to find in Venice, excellent food, friendly staff that puts you at ease. We will definitely be back!

24/05/2025: Super expensive and bad food. They charge the cover charge plus a 12% service charge. We were unfortunate enough not to look at the previous reviews, otherwise we would never have gone in. Stay away!

11/05/2025: Posticino un po imboscato in una stradina laterale del centro storico di Mestre. Locale abbastanza grande e ottimo servizio. Abbiamo mangiato dei buonissimi cicchetti veneziani e un piatto di bigoli interessante

06/05/2025: Se le aconsejó que buscara Trattoria para probar la comida local. Estábamos en la zona y encontramos este restaurante que estaba escondido lejos de la zona principal. Tenían menú en inglés con chef y recomendaciones más populares. El aperitivo del perro de mar y la mejilla de ternera guisada. El plato de la calle 1 era un plato de muestras que era muy bueno en términos de sabor y oportunidad de saborear una variedad de aperitivos locales. La mejilla de ternera estaba muy tierna. La salsa usada era un poco pesada para los tomates, pero supongo que así les gusta a los italianos.

27/05/2025: Definitely good pizza: light, thin dough, and not burnt. Huge. Excellent in short. Quick service. Only flaw... the table for 17 that we had requested, was divided into 2. After several insistent requests, we managed to have the 2 tables joined.

04/05/2025: I ordered a pizza with cooked ham being cooked and parmesan still being cooked and it arrived with ham added last and without parmesan... I pointed this out and they told me they would make it again. after 1 minute magically the usual pizza returns with a re-bake in the oven with ham and parmesan... The result is a dried up, burnt and disgusting pizza... Maybe they think that the customers are all idiots... Congratulations, phenomena

22/05/2025: Very large selection of sweets. Good coffee. Friendly service.

21/05/2025: Wednesday 21st May the place was half empty and yet the table service was with two coffees, one of which was long, and the wrong croissants arrived at the table... pathetic

19/04/2025: The pastries were old, the pistachio one tasted chemical. We ordered two iced teas and literally saw the bartender only half fill the glasses and then dilute it with water (so he only served us two small glasses without bringing a bottle/can to the table like they do everywhere). It really seems like a joke to me to then charge us €3.20 for a measly watered down glass. Not recommended, they are dishonest!
