08/02/2026: Discovered this restaurant by chance on my way back from Perugia. Everything was delicious. Authentic cuisine. Excellent for a pleasant, relaxing, and simple lunch.
The dessert was also excellent.
The service is their great added value.
Simona, affable and very friendly, really makes the difference.

24/01/2026: Al Leone never fails! Outstanding, country-style food and top notch pizza give you a wide choice of authentic, flawlessly executed options. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced.
Overall, excellent price to quality ratio, and we'll worth the drive to a rather remote village on the hills. We go there every time we are in or around Perugia...

08/12/2025: Yesterday, Sunday, around 3:00 PM, we were looking for a place that was open to eat and we came across this beautiful restaurant. A stunning veranda overlooking the center of Marsciano, with lots of plants and flowers on the walls. The waiter, despite the hour, welcomed us kindly. He served us a platter of cold cuts, warm bruschetta, and high-quality cheeses. Handmade tagliolini with white ragù and truffle shavings were a delicacy we will never forget. To finish, a sublime tiramisu by the glass. Such kindness and friendliness! Excellent quality/price ratio. We have saved it among our favorites, we want to return soon to discover the rest of the menu!

What can I say? The food was excellent, even the girls enjoyed it. If you're passing through Città della Pieve, I recommend stopping by.

19/01/2026: Amazing...a very small and very quaint place, where the dining room is in one room and the kitchen is in another. Michele is a phenomenon, offering very good traditional dishes, excellent Norcia ham and excellent tripe, with background music featuring 1930s songs, you'll find yourself transported to another dimension. Reservations are required, and the prices are very fair.
04/01/2026: On the recommendation of our host, we booked a table at this traditional osteria. The dishes offered extraordinary value for money; the crostone with cianuscolo (a type of octopus) is a must-try, truly delicious. The place is intimate and unique, thanks in part to Michele, the owner, who made the experience truly one-of-a-kind.

10/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance.
We ate well.
Tagliatelle with black truffle was truly delicious.
The Orvieto Chardonnay was excellent.
The wild boar with polenta and the mixed boiled meats were equally excellent.
The desserts, both the castagnaccio and the ricotta cake, were truly delicious.
The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients.
Definitely worth trying.
04/01/2026: Looking for a restaurant in Orvieto we came across Al Corsica, with a misleading name, but with fully Umbrian flavours, a place that I recommend

The atmosphere was very welcoming, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere: it wasn't too noisy and the ambiance was truly comfortable, which is not a given. There's also a very pleasant outdoor area, perfect for a quiet al fresco meal.
The food is excellent, with traditional dishes prepared with great care and using the freshest ingredients.
An added bonus is definitely the owner, who is very kind, helpful, and attentive to his customers, making you feel at home.
20/02/2026: I've been coming to this place for over ten years during the truffle festival. What can I say? The owners are kind and friendly, as is the rest of the staff. Excellent food and very competitive prices. Try it, you won't regret it.

28/01/2026: The restaurant is very charming, housed in a rustic farmhouse, furnished in an equally rustic style, and very welcoming. The service was good, everyone was very friendly, but what I really didn't like was the plating technique for the food we ordered. Specifically, the pasta—umbricelli, if I'm not mistaken—was sparse, presented on a huge plate, and the seafood was in its shells, making it seem like a huge dish, but in reality there was very little pasta. The same trick was used with the fried fish, accompanied by homemade potato chips, mixed with the fish, resulting in all potatoes and very little fried food. I don't think this place is for me.

28/12/2025: Top the tavern is very nice ... it also has a large private parking outside.. the service is excellent, fast and friendly... the food is excellent, excellent appetizer of cured meats and cheeses... super the tagliata with porcini mushrooms and roast potatoes... also the house wine is remarkable... super quality price... well done
