This place is a Gemma, and one of the reasons to come to Italy and Umbria in particular! Great local food and wine, excellent and friendly service.

The place is small, but they were kind enough to find us a seat. They accept pets. The service is good. The chef is very friendly. The menu features a strong focus on truffles. The meat is excellent. Wide selection of wines. Excellent value.

I had the pleasure of dining at Seven Restaurant in Monteleone d'Orvieto, and it was a fantastic experience! The cuisine specializes in truffles and traditional Umbrian dishes. The daily specials, such as the pappardelle with wild boar and chicken cacciatore, are always exceptional. Seven also has a carefully selected wine list, from local to renowned labels. The service was excellent: the staff was not only highly knowledgeable, but also extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a dinner with friends or a romantic evening. I highly recommend visiting Seven if you're in the area. I'll definitely be back!

November is white truffle season in Umbria and we made the most of it at Seven! Okay, not the cheapest option but difficult to resist if you’re an occasional visitor to the region. We were a big group of a dozen or so and the service was flawless - even though the restaurant was quite full otherwise. Lots of wines to choose from and plenty of advice on what to drink. Porcini were also in season and our appetizers of deep-fried and pan-fried were delicious. Pasta with truffles, fillet steak with truffles and another pasta with porcini - all excellent and served with a smile in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

What an amazing experience to kick off our honeymoon with the truffle hunting followed by lunch. You gain a lot of insight into the truffle hunting with a very entertaining guide, Michele, and his dog Argo. That is followed by a beautiful lunch and wine pairing led by Andrea. Highly recommend this experience if you want to learn more about the food and wine in Umbria!

15/05/2026: Friendly owner, a warm shop atmosphere, and even super delicious pasta!!!! I think it's fresh pasta (just a guess), but the mushroom pasta was seriously so good!! It's not in a crowded area, but it's a short walk away!!! I highly recommend it~♡
