04/03/2025: Le cameriere del bar ci hanno messo a disagio sbeffeggiando me e i miei amici, tanto che uno si è messo a piangere perché deriso e umiliato. Inoltre hanno fatto un pessimo servizio portando le cose ordinate dopo diversi minuti. Hanno portato il tutto in modo confusionario e non siamo riusciti a distinguere le nostre singole ordinazioni. 11/05/2025: Very dirty bar, indecent tables with cigarettes and stains. Dirty spoon. A coffee €3.50 To reach the bathroom, you have to climb some embarrassing stairs, not up to standard and full of cobwebs. People with disabilities or blood pressure problems are forced not to go there. The smell is unclassifiable. Not to mention the service, staff who were rude to say the least. Absolutely not recommended.

08/05/2025: This is supposed to be an Italian coffee with a little milk. The server was extremely rude. I wouldn't recommend it

16/05/2025: As others have said, the female cashier wearing black-rimmed glasses was very rude, so I'm giving it a rating of 1. I recommend that everyone not use this store.

22/05/2025: I ordered a Caesar salad. I've never seen anything like it. The meat was cold and raw. After complaining, we got spaghetti, but that was also terrible. The tomato sauce had more oil than a tomato sauce (it costs over €10).

27/04/2025: Chaotic and disorganized service. Good and plentiful platter but the first courses arrived after 40 minutes of waiting, after having requested them, and they arrived cold. There is room for improvement.

26/11/2024: La nuova gestione ha decisamente peggiorato i servizi del bar. Oltre a non offrire più l’ampia ed alta gamma di pasticceria e salati (adesso veramente scadente), sono anche maleducati e con prezzi eccessivi: cappuccino ben 1,90€ e semplice caffè 1,40€ !!!! Folle!

22/03/2025: Si può avere/gestire un posto molto bello, capiente, nel cuore di una città importante e rinomata, MA se la qualità di prodotti, i costi e soprattutto il servizio offerto non sono all'altezza si va poco lontani..... Purtroppo non sono solita leggere le recensioni dei bar (al contrario delle recensioni su ristoranti e hotel). In genere scelgo guidata dall'istinto alla ricerca di un buon caffè che renda la mia vacanza o il mio soggiorno di lavoro ancora più gradevole. Questa esperienza mi insegna a farlo! Non lo consiglio. Passate oltre.

02/02/2025: Una pasta al tiramisù pessima (l’ho lasciata) una fetta di cheesecake anche lei appena passabile e 2 marocchini : 20,50. Se i prodotti fossero stati di qualità non recensirei negativamente ma quel prezzo per prodotti quasi immangiabili Anche no. Evitate

06/06/2025: Mediocre gelato at absurd prices. We paid over €20 for two small cones and water. Prices weren’t clearly displayed, and the staff was cold and unhelpful. They encouraged us to sit without warning that prices would increase. A classic tourist trap — avoid it and look for better spots elsewhere in Florence. ⸻ ⭐ 1 star Disappointing experience at Caffè Maioli Visited recently during a walk near the Ponte Vecchio, but unfortunately the experience was terrible in every way. The gelato was mediocre, tasteless and creamy, similar to the industrial one. But the real shock came with the bill: exorbitant prices and not clearly indicated. For two small cones and a bottle of water, the total was over 20 euros. A real tourist trap. The staff was cold and unhelpful, almost annoyed by our presence. They also invited us to sit without explaining that doing so would increase the prices even more. In a city full of gastronomic excellences, it is a shame to find places that only aim to exploit the location to make money, without caring about quality or service. Not recommended.

05/06/2025: One cannolo, two regrets, and a life lesson If you’re looking for a Tuscany betrayal wrapped in fluorescent green pistachio paste, you’ve found the right place. I bought a so-called “pistachio” cannolo from this market, and the only authentic thing about it was the crushing disappointment. The filling? A suspiciously colored chemical paste that tasted like flavored margarine with ambition. My guess? They waved at real pistachios from across the street and carried on with food dye. The shop’s atmosphere matches the dessert: cold, indifferent, and weirdly proud of itself. Service was a delightful mix of indifference and mild disdain. Note to tourists: if you’re after an authentic Italian experience, go literally anywhere else. This place is a masterclass in how to turn a sweet treat into a bitter memory.

01/01/2025: Good ice cream. The cashier, I suppose the owner, very arrogant and haughty; unfit to be in the public eye as he is listless. I, a paying customer, at least expect respect and education as well as clarity in prices.

26/10/2024: Amazing ice cream. Watered down and tasteless. The pistachio flavor is nothing more than a green surface layer without flavor and underneath all fiordilatte, watered down.

18/05/2025: Very good ice cream with special flavors and slightly lower prices than nearby places, friendly and much appreciated staff!

07/06/2025: I don't even want to give it one star. The attitude of the clerk is very bad. He pretended not to hear me when I talked to him. I waited for five minutes and the two clerks were still talking loudly. Why didn't they go home and talk among themselves? The clerk scooped the ice cream and it was disgusting. It dripped while scooping. The point is that the ice cream is super unpalatable. I ate 20 gelatos in Italy and this was the worst.
