13/09/2025: The ambiance inside isn't great, as this place clearly wasn't founded as a bar. One half of the counter is for service, the other half a kind of kiosk for cigarettes, tobacco, and snacks. There's a restroom for everyone! There's a nice outdoor seating area with a beautiful view of the old, historic city. Service is okay. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is closed to guests. There's still plenty of room for improvement.
Since the prices are reasonable for the location, you can't go wrong (unless you want Wi-Fi) 😗
10/09/2025: Good Italian coffee but served without a glass of water, a first during our stay in Salento. The service leaves something to be desired. We had to flag down the waitress to take our order. Even though she had already passed by twice to serve the next table. The setting could have been pleasant (view of the port and the castle) but the terrace must not have been cleaned for ages, just like the seats.

Excellent wait times and truly delicious dishes.
I had a fish-based first course, especially the torelloni and the fried calamari...I didn't wait long, about 10 minutes, and the dishes were excellent.
The place was also beautiful...it overlooked the sea 🤩🤩🤩🤩

22/08/2025: A place like Martinucci's should be better looked after in every way. There's too much waiting to be served at the register, so they should install another register. The water dripping from the ceiling is unusual, and the staff is rude.
Never again.
21/08/2025: Good, but not as good as the one in Lecce; I remembered it being better. The inside is also a bit run-down.

24/08/2025: I was passing by and unfortunately decided to stop for a drink, which I bitterly regretted! I'm just writing about the latest in many rude and inappropriate responses from the staff on duty: when I asked for the Moscow Mule in a copper mug, as is customary, I was told that it was a request made by many, and they couldn't accommodate it because they only have two on display in the ice cream display case, which were dusty and therefore only for display! Absurd! I confirm what other reviews have written: the staff can't wait to send you away and lacks the slightest bit of friendliness!

20/07/2025: I asked for a chocolate frappe with rum. 6 euros...without rum. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he replied that there's quite a bit of it...I don't like being seen around. Poor service. I won't be back.

15/06/2025: Kind of a bar, but not quite — more like a cozy observation deck with cocktails. Draft beer? Just a couple of options, but they do the job. Cocktails, though — plenty, and done right.
Perfect spot to sit back, watch the promenade, make up stories about strangers, and pretend you’re a local.
The staff? Great people — friendly, easygoing, and always up for a quick chat, even if you don’t speak the same language.

05/07/2025: The masseria is a real gem in the heart of Salento, looked after with great care by the owner, Mr. Barone and the staff. Excellent breakfast with all dairy products from the family business and sweets from Apulian patisserie. Very convenient location to reach the most beautiful beaches of Salento!! Gallipoli is close by and can be reached with the bicycles made available...
24/06/2025: Siamo stati per 3 giorni alloggiati alla masseria del Sig. Barone..persona eccellente con una cultura superiore che ti spiega e dà consigli sul dove andare e mangiare..poi Riccardo il fido braccio destro che ti coccola in tutto e al mattino di fa assaggiare le mozzarelle di bufala e la ricotta tiepida con confettura..location assolutamente da provare per la pulizia assoluta..per gentilezza..per i profumi..ci torneremo!!!

La qualità e la freschezza del prodotto del mare è ormai una consuetudine.
Il massimo del sapore dai crudi fantastici ai primi spettacolari.
Tutto, come sempre da oltre un decennio di frequentazione, buonissimo.

Abbiamo mangiato un gelato squisito, caffè salentino e pasticciotto.
Alla fine degustazione di torta salentina e panettone multipremiato.
Specchia è un borgo incantevole ricco di palazzi storici visitarlo è stata una piacevole sorpresa.

06/08/2025: Ristorante nel centro di un piccolo paesino tranquillo nel cuore del Salento, lontano dalla calca turistica delle località sul mare. Locale carinissimo e tipico, menù tradizionale e devo dire cibo veramente di qualità. Prenotate e chiedete un tavolo nel chiostro interno che è incantevole. Proprietario e camerieri gentilissimi. Pezzetti di cavallo buonissimi, paste di qualità e salsiccia con finocchietto a punta di coltello di fattura elevata. Unica pecca le pittole, molto croccanti ma un pochino troppo unte, impasto diverso dalle solite. Menzione d’onore per il “brodino” che è un antipasto di verdure UNICO!
29/07/2025: Piatti ricercati, con ingredienti tipici e di qualità. Ottima location con giardino interno. Personale molto cordiale e competente. Consigliato!

14/06/2025: Aan de rand van de stad. Heerlijk broodje gegeten! Ik zou dit tentje absoluut aanraden! Ik werd erg goed geholpen, ondanks de taalbarrière probeerde ze mij de lekkerste combinaties te laten zien van vlees, kaas en evt. fruit. Echt genoten!
06/06/2025: Abbiamo preso un tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi con l'aggiunta di frutta in abbinamento. I prodotti erano sfiziosi, locali e affettati al momento.
Raramente ho riscontrato una tale cura per i dettagli e qualità dei prodotti.
La proprietaria poi è gentilissima!
