08/12/2025: The ice cream and cakes are exceptional, BUT the staff (except Kessy, Roberta, and Nico) need to wake up and learn some manners. I was just leaving the place in my car (after having breakfast at La Castellana!) and the owner's wife was blocking my way by parking (the wrong way and temporarily) behind me. I had to wait for her to finish throwing the trash out of her car before I could leave their bar's parking lot. I mean, a customer waiting to leave after a drink because you can't park properly? What manners are they?! The bar is tidy and the staff are exceptional, but the owners should treat their customers better if they care about their continued customer loyalty! The aforementioned lady deserves 0 stars; I'm giving it 2 stars because someone there is raising the average.

The result was excellent: the food was delicious, the service was very good, and we were pleased with the location of our table (with an enchanting sea view). The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend it...

30/10/2025: Lots of locals eat there. A good sign. With a shared antipasti caldo and a main course each, we were more than satisfied. So, don't overorder. We had a table right next to a window, which allowed us to see directly into the kitchen. Very nice. The fish soup was generous and could easily be shared between two people. Everything tasted delicious.

01/12/2025: Unfortunately, I must confirm what others have noted: problems finding the reservation; we waited 45 minutes to order, another 45, maybe even more, for three entrees, and another hour for three meats reheated and dressed with the same sauce, even though they were three different types of meat. At this point, we were literally abandoned, and to order desserts, we took advantage of the opportunity afforded to us by our neighbors, who had gone to call someone. I also wanted to emphasize that, if a food item is out of stock, as is stated when ordering, no substitute is brought to the kitchen. The worst thing was seeing two diners arrive about an hour later, eat everything first, and be treated as if the others weren't there or didn't pay the same amount. The only positive thing is the proximity to the hospital, because if you're coming from out of town to visit relatives at lunchtime, it's convenient to stop for lunch. Had I known the treatment options beforehand, I would have preferred to drive even 30 minutes to go elsewhere.

10/08/2025: A traditional, historic restaurant in the city center: it was a pleasant surprise. We tried both the à la carte menu and the workers' menu: the seafood dishes were always very good and tasty. The staff was always friendly and fast. The prices were fair. I recommend booking.

20/09/2025: Birthday dinner for 8 people. Beautiful location, with a great view of the sea. The place is well-kept, clean, and welcoming. The staff is friendly, attentive, and discreet, especially Sofia, who takes care of table reservations and is always available to accommodate guests' requests. She made a great impression on me. She helped me organize the cake, as I hadn't found a decent ice cream shop in the area. The dessert was excellent...after all, considering who serves Gelateria Ciro e Pio in Jesi...it's a guarantee...I already knew it and have had the opportunity to confirm its quality several times... Delicious seafood salad...alternative...with radish, pink sauce, and grated lemon, mussel sauté...exceptional, tagliatelle with white seafood...remarkable, gnocco with sauce, scampi, and bottarga (personally, I didn't like it), but 6 out of 8 did...to finish, a nice, full-bodied fried dish, very dry and tasty, excellent breading, very light: hard to find anything like it... I will definitely be back... Congratulations!!!!

16/12/2025: The motto that dominates this simple, minimalist, yet exquisite restaurant is: from the sea to the plate. A different feeling overwhelms you as you enter: the idea that you're in a home and that the smells and dishes you see come from that home's kitchen. I had eaten there years ago, and quite well, but Poseidon's trident hadn't struck home in my heart. I returned, and the full power of the incestuous marriage between Oceanus and Tethys overwhelmed me, and I was dazzled. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw the fish leap from the plate and attempt to cross the street to dive back into the water, such is the freshness and quality of the products. Traditional cuisine, perfect, well-made, desirable, an emotional sea shower. The appetizers are incredibly fresh and appetizing. The fried calamari heads make you howl on full moon nights, the sea snails lick like an erotic dream, the mackerel marinated in exquisite oil. The first courses are all voluptuous, and a special mention goes to the spaghetti with sardines, which build a true bridge between Senigallia and Sicily. The gnocchi with slipper lobster and the timeless yet perfect spaghetti with clams are excellent. The second courses touch and caress the heart. The grilled fish with just a little bit of chargrilled breadcrumbs is unique but full of real, exquisite, and excellent fish. The fried food is dry and voluptuous, but the stuffed calamari takes me back in time and excites me. Friendly and punctual service, generous portions, and an excellent quality-price ratio complete the picture. So much passion, so much apparent simplicity, and so much quality to be enjoyed. Bravo!!

08/12/2025: I don't understand how in 2025 you can still keep the plexiglass panel at the cash register... given that it was something totally useless that was put up only because everyone was doing it (and, worse, tell me what sense it made, even more so in a restaurant where you were without a mask for hours with constant contact between customers, waiters, and owners... but then to pay for it, the plexiglass takes 30 seconds... total nonsense).... now they've been removed everywhere... outside of Italy they've never even been there obviously... what's the point of continuing to keep that stuff? It's disrespectful towards the customer who feels disgusted and unwelcome, distant... not to mention that it's all spat on and disgusting... I advise you to remove it and make the customer feel welcome, not like a plague victim.
