We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after visiting the splendid Frasassi Caves. What a pleasant surprise. Even though it was June 2nd and therefore very crowded, even without a reservation, we were seated after about ten minutes of waiting. We ate wonderfully. The ricotta-filled gnocchi with ragù were divine, as was the suckling pig. The desserts were also excellent, but the pre-dessert was the highlight: Pecorino Coccola, a pecorino gelato with caramelized walnuts, pears, and honey. The service was excellent, and the waitresses were kind and cheerful. Furthermore, the bill was more than reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. Highly recommended!

Excellent food quality, excellent service. My children (10 and 4) had tagliatelle with wild boar, with plenty of meat and not at all chewy. I had passatelli with mushrooms, divine! My husband had tagliatelle with trout and asparagus, amazing and plentiful. Fried lamb and artichokes, crispy and delicious. Desserts...the babamisu was the icing on the cake! The girls were very kind. A well-deserved 5-star rating.

We were fortunate enough to discover Taverna di Frasassi during our visit to the caves. The dinner was nothing short of fantastic: the quality of the ingredients is excellent and perfectly executed by the chef. Nice restaurant opposite the ticket office for the Frasassi Caves. Not an extensive menu, but more than enough choice and very well-prepared dishes, portions not too large, and friendly service. It was quiet at lunchtime today, but it will probably be very busy when there are many visitors to the caves.
