29/08/2024: Was a guest at the Osteria, its so popular that i had to whait for 30min, well worth it great traditional kitchen and what looked like really good pizzas, goos selection of wines.

20/12/2024: Ape di livellanza! Cibo eccellente, in quantità giuste e spesso con delle combinazioni molto ricercate e che si distinguono dagli altri locali (il formaggio con il miele al tartufo e il prosciutto crudo con le pesche sono dei must). I prezzi sono nella norma, il personale è molto gentile, proprietario simpaticissimo, alla fine della permanenza in questo locale ci sono stati offerti dei chupiti. Assolutamente tra i migliori bar di Varese, direi addirittura il migliore.

16/12/2024: Small, cozy, family-run. Spend a quick or longer aperitif with the owner who comes by to meet you and make sure that everything is going well. The small platters, accompanied by the drinks, are of good quality and the 100g mortadella panozzo is super delicious... a sandwich worthy of its name. The staff... friendly, prepared and fast. If so, go to Varese, we'll go back....and you who read, go too!

21/12/2024: It's a great pub, I'd be surprised if there are many other places in Italy with both McEwan's and Slalom on draught. I recommend it.

02/01/2025: I've been several times, even to the New Year's Eve dinner. The food is always very good, excellent indeed... however... a small "lapse in style" at the dinner: no midnight toast foreseen and included in the price, if you wanted a dedicated flute, you had to request it off the menu.

31/12/2024: We went to this tavern for dinner. We ordered appetizers, first courses and dessert. Not too many but well cooked in home style but also with refined combinations. The staff is kind and prepared. The environment is simple and intimate, as a tavern should be. I recommend it.

31/12/2024: We were there today for lunch it was a really nice surprise nice clean informal environment makes you feel immediately at ease kindness courtesy pizzoccheri what can I say... not exceptional but much more excellent, generous portion so much so that we only had a dessert which was recommended to us by the really good and very professional pastry chef owner, very balanced tiramisu, very fresh, wonderful, It's a truly surprising liquorice cake combined with a chocolate pudding, it goes together divinely, a really nice surprise, we'll see you again soon, well done

07/12/2024: Già l' entrata al ristorante , che poi è una villa antica , non è il massimo - eravamo li per un voucher regalato e abbiamo prenotato una cena di sabato . Abbiamo scelto alla carta ; nessun antipasto scelto da noi , ma la casa ha offerto un assaggino . Poi un primo con sugo di pesce e un secondo di pesce con contorno di finocchio ( cotto) , un calice di vino bianco a testa e niente dessert ma un limoncello ed un caffè . Ci alziamo per pagare alla cassa (....?) e presentiamo il voucher del valore di 170 euro .... Calcolando 4 euro a persona di coperto , ed eravamo in 2 , ci hanno chiesto 162 euro ! E non avevano nemmeno gli 8 euro di resto da darci ! Quindi li abbiamo lasciati senza pretese . Si ma.... Lo Scontrino ? Almeno quello .... Niente - solo un saluto e via ! Pazzesco ...! Incredibile ! Cibo niente di che , ho mangiato di meglio come sapori - Non dubito sulla qualità del prodotto cucinato , ma l' esagerazione del prezzo di una cena è scandaloso ; se avessimo preso un dolce , avremmo dovuto aggiungere altri soldi ai già 170 euro pagati dalla persona offrente..... Ma scherziamo ? Un insulto - (e vogliamo battere lo scontrino ? ) Sconsiglio questo posto per una questione morale e di poca serietà nei confronti del cliente , nonostante le altre recensioni scrivino bene . Scegliete un altro posto in cui pranzare o cenare , meno caro e magari di ottima qualità ad un giusto prezzo , e nemmeno l' ambiente ha meritato la mia attenzione , al contrario ...! Li dentro mi sentivo soffocare , tutto vintage ( o vecchio..) - per me , bocciato .

31/12/2024: Unfortunately not fully satisfied. The place is very small, with really small tables. Four of us struggled to fit everything in. The food selection is limited, and in my opinion a little expensive. Average quality. The beers on the other hand are excellent, poured in the right way, with the right price. Service to improve: ordered 4 pinsas, 2 arrived; the others after 15 minutes. Not very welcome

31/10/2024: Small place in the pedestrian center of Gallarate. The environment is pleasant, the beers offered are good and the choice of appetizers for the aperitif is good. As more substantial food they mainly offer pinsas with interesting fillings. I'll be back!

01/01/2025: Entering the Hotel Bologna you can breathe serenity in a very familiar and pleasant environment. The staff is kind, helpful and very professional. Excellent for short or short stays. I always feel really good, and for now it remains my point of reference for when I am in Varese. The Bologna restaurant is excellent

30/12/2024: I was at the restaurant with friends on January 23rd and we hadn't been back for a long time. We have known this place for 25 years now and unfortunately it has not been renewed, even the atmosphere of the past is no longer the same, everything that made this place unique has faded over the years. I also found the dishes not to be at the same level as back then and there are always the same things... cheeses in oil and all the rest.
