02/12/2025: A very special venue in the center of Varese with its frescoes and excellent cocktails.

26/11/2025: I'm now a regular, and every time I set foot here, I feel at home. The waiters and the owner are super friendly, always ready to chat and make you smile. The bartenders, on the other hand... excellent is an understatement: they make drinks so well, I could cry 😭 Today, they went above and beyond: the only cured meat I usually eat was sold out, so they sent someone to get it! A gesture like that really shows you how much care and attention they put into their customers. In short: the best place in all of Varese, and there's no arguing about that. If I could, I'd give it 20 stars!!

30/11/2025: Great pub. Don't expect the atmosphere of an authentic Scottish or Irish pub. It's a kind of Scottish-themed bar. The staff doesn't speak English, and they only have a few four-and-threes available.

19/11/2025: Adorable, very quiet place: welcoming and calm atmosphere (I should point out that I go there with friends during the week). Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent food.

22/10/2025: Everything is fabulous, always very nice to go there, it's close to home and I go there very willingly, every now and then I have to say that there is a bit too much waiting to be able to eat and this is obviously the only flaw I can give

17/11/2025: After visiting the lake, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant, which also offers gluten-free options. The location is absolutely top-notch. The place is beautiful and well-kept. The veranda offers a fantastic lake view. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The food is delicious. Definitely worth a try.

29/11/2025: The perceived value is far higher than the actual value. The dishes are generous, well-prepared, and of high quality. A break with excellent food costs €16. I come here when I want to make a good impression, I highly recommend it!

29/11/2025: Dinner for two to celebrate my birthday. We already knew the place, and perhaps that's why our expectations were high. We certainly enjoyed excellent quality seafood, but there wasn't a WOW effect. The house appetizer is meant to be for the whole table, so I also ordered some oysters, which I confirm were very fresh and delicious. If I may make a suggestion, I would have liked the 14 small plates of cold and hot appetizers to have been served in multiple portions. They were brought all together by two very kind waiters and listed in three seconds... they don't do justice to the dishes, and more importantly, personally, when I tasted them, I couldn't remember exactly what they were. My husband then ordered the seafood carbonara (paccheri), and I had the gurnard stew. The gurnard was good, and the portions were certainly plentiful but also quite heavy. Overall, a good dinner, in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, but nothing more.

16/12/2025: An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The cuisine was absolutely delicious, with an impressive selection of vegetarian options. We particularly enjoyed the artichoke risotto and the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, both of which were exquisitely prepared. The staff was courteous, professional, and attentive, contributing greatly to the overall experience. I would most certainly return on my next visit to Varese. Thank you so much, 💫

18/07/2025: I ordered from Deliveroo after a busy day at work and it was a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't familiar with this pub and will definitely stop by one evening for a beer and the "matt sandwich" again; it was delicious! I'm not giving it a 5 only because, in my opinion, a little more béarnaise sauce would have been perfect. The fries were spectacular, incredibly crispy and delicious!

06/10/2025: The essence of my city's history...the owners are expert in their craft...without the affectations and theatrics of inexperienced, tattooed bartenders...Bar Torino is a dimension of simplicity...I go in because I feel like I've gone back in time to a time when the world was untouched. The owners' quiet, reserved style deserves great respect.

07/09/2025: A historic bar with a retro atmosphere in the center of Saronno. It's family-run and always friendly. It's also a tobacconist.

18/08/2025: A lovely place in the center of Gallarate, in the pedestrian area, where you can enjoy excellent beer and appetizers. A bit small, but in the summer they also have outdoor seating. The chalkboard menu features excellent burgers, but I was there for an aperitivo.

14/07/2025: I found it somewhat by chance, and was immediately struck by the interior decor and the friendly owners. The pub has a strong pirate theme, with dark, welcoming colors. The menu offers a good selection, especially alcoholic beverages, and the attentive and helpful service immediately put me at ease. Prices are reasonable for a downtown pub. The burgers are quite good, and the platters are generous and perfect for an aperitif or appetizer. I'll definitely be back.
