02/01/2026: Everything was good, and the service was excellent. The only thing that really bothered me was that they presented you with a drinks menu where, among the gin and tonic choices, there were several types, but in reality they only served one, the agricultural one that they advertise so much and that's the only way to sell it because no one cares. Plus, they have this way of describing gin, in my case "della madonna" (goodness), which actually means nothing other than "agricultural." So why fool the customer like this? I also find that insignificant bottle where they put the amount of gin horrifying, don't worry, no one will steal it from you.

03/01/2026: A welcoming pub. We had a reasonably good meal, though nothing particularly memorable. The red wine, unfortunately, wasn't great. The wait was quite long, but the staff's kindness deserves credit, making the experience pleasant nonetheless.

01/01/2026: The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, the food is excellent, but the real difference is the staff: the waiters are very kind and patient. Our experience was so positive that we returned two days later, and we'll be back many more times.

02/12/2025: It's a spectacular pizzeria restaurant in every way, with a wonderful view of the lake. Plus, you can walk to the beach directly from the restaurant. I had an incredibly delicious risotto; we had a delicious appetizer and a second course of fish, both excellent and sublime. If you want to make a good impression and eat very well, make a reservation.

17/11/2025: After visiting the lake, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant, which also offers gluten-free options. The location is absolutely top-notch. The place is beautiful and well-kept. The veranda offers a fantastic lake view. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The food is delicious. Definitely worth a try.

07/01/2026: I went on a Tuesday evening before Christmas: the place was quite busy; we sat down and were told there would be a long wait and that we could get an appetizer. We ordered some fried food to share, and they were good. The sandwich was good too, but we had a really long wait. The beer was good. To view the menu, you need to use your phone and enter your mobile number.

16/12/2025: I was invited to a company dinner. I wasn't familiar with this restaurant, and the experience was very pleasant. The place is clean, tidy, and very bright. The chairs are very comfortable, and there's plenty of space between the tables, allowing for conversation without interfering with other diners. The dishes were well-prepared and, above all, tasty. I enjoyed the tasting menu. Excellent! I highly recommend it. The fish was good and fresh. The owner is a wonderful person, always available and attentive to his customers. The young staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant also offers free private parking. Il Beccofino is definitely worth a try. Thank you!

28/12/2025: Very nice hotel right in the city center with spacious and very warm rooms. The double bed was large and very comfortable, with fairly comfortable pillows. The bathroom was spacious and warm, with the only flaw being the shower stall's water supply, which was difficult to close. It's a shame that on my last day, some of my towels were taken away, which took away a significant amount of comfort. The staff was helpful, even when I asked to book the room for the following day due to the general transport strike that left me stuck in Varese. They were very kind and let me use the same room. Breakfast was good, although the lactose-free options could be improved. The only flaw is the reception: there's never anyone there, and when you need help in the evening around dinnertime, you can call for hours, go downstairs countless times, but no one will answer. A shame. The in-room fridge and complimentary water are convenient. Recommended.

06/01/2026: A historic pub that's always been a sure thing. Open every day of the year, it's consistently high-quality beers and food at a reasonable price. I had a sandwich with gorgonzola, mortadella, walnuts, and arugula for €8.50 and bruschetta with tomato and prosciutto for €5.50. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: Great selection of excellent quality beers and delicious dishes, I had a Panuozzo, a sandwich made with pizza dough, recommended!

19/01/2026: A visually stunning burger. It's a shame the flavor wasn't up to par. There was a long wait, even though the place wasn't crowded. To use the bathroom, you had to ask for the key and leave the place.

06/10/2025: The essence of my city's history...the owners are expert in their craft...without the affectations and theatrics of inexperienced, tattooed bartenders...Bar Torino is a dimension of simplicity...I go in because I feel like I've gone back in time to a time when the world was untouched. The owners' quiet, reserved style deserves great respect.

07/09/2025: A historic bar with a retro atmosphere in the center of Saronno. It's family-run and always friendly. It's also a tobacconist.

30/11/2025: Pub with good food and good beer, popular with regulars. The Matt sandwich is better than the burgers.

08/11/2025: A small and cozy shop in Luino, where you can choose from their wine selection or ask for advice from the owner, a charming and polite (and professional) person. You can buy wines, as well as other products they sell, such as teas, chocolates, and artisanal sweets... and for Christmas, they have some delicious treats! There's also a small outdoor terrace. A visit is a must... and a glass of wine is essential!

01/01/2026: We went on December 25th for Christmas lunch. The staff were very friendly and service was prompt, considering the number of guests that day. The food was truly well-prepared and delicious. The only issue for us was the location where we were seated, near a rock face (?). It was really cold, and the heating, which was present in the two main rooms, wasn't working. A real shame. The price was reasonable for the quality and service.
