08/03/2026: Everything was perfect. We came as a couple and had a bottle of wine with a cheese and cured meat appetizer while playing the board games available. The playlist was great, with a cute and very cozy atmosphere. The staff took great care of us. The bistro is just two steps from the bus that goes back down to Como city. 11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.

03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

02/11/2025: Restaurant overlooking the lake with an unparalleled view. Daily menu or à la carte menu, and very fair prices. The decor is a bit dated, but that's a minor detail. Clean bathrooms.

08/02/2026: The place is small and poorly ventilated: sitting at the tables on the mezzanine level becomes impossible due to the stagnant hot air. The staff also isn't particularly good in terms of service quality or timing (we've tried them for aperitivo and bar; last time, we had to wait at least 20 minutes—with the place half-empty—for an aperitivo, which was also very thin and not particularly fresh). The savory options are definitely a no-no. The desserts deserve a bit more. Overall, definitely not the first choice in the area.

24/02/2026: This restaurant is a real find when you're looking for a place to eat in Bellagio. It doesn't look too expensive on paper, but when you see the "cuisine" and the food on the plate, you realize it would have been better to spend a few extra euros for quality. The dishes are reheated pre-packaged meals. I ordered a tasteless carbonara with bits of meat that weren't really comparable to guanciale or pancetta. Luckily, they served us Parmesan cheese to try and salvage the flavor. However, the waitresses were undeniably friendly. But for a plate of reheated pasta, €13 plus a €2 cover charge is expensive.

29/07/2025: Dinner with about fifteen friends. The appetizer platter was excellent and plentiful. The pizza was truly exceptional, with a perfectly soft and crispy crust; you can tell they took great care in choosing the right flours. The place wasn't crowded, and the service was friendly and quick. We had a lovely evening. The price was fair. We'll be back soon.

08/07/2025: I stopped for a quick business lunch. I opted for a main course with a side dish and a quart of draft wine. The steak (as pictured) was half-burned and tough... that happens. The focaccia bread was stale... I asked the waitress about it and she said... yes, I noticed 😳. All for the modest sum of €16! (€4 for a quart of draft wine? That's €16 a liter?) Good luck!

13/11/2025: There's no menu to consult (or to check prices on): upon entry, a series of dishes is hastily listed, otherwise they inform you: piadina or sandwich, unspecified. Instinct immediately tells you not to venture into the culinary offerings, and therefore: piadina. The piadina with "cotto" (very salty) is indescribable: in the most modest discount store, I think you could find better ingredients, starting with the piadina itself, followed by the spalla cotta (a cooked ham that didn't make it) that was sparingly stuffed. Of course, no one expected a luxury restaurant, but it takes a lot to make a piadina inedible... I'll let you know if my dog ​​will appreciate it; I put it in my bag, even if I hesitate to give it to him. The place is empty, dark, smells of old cigarette butts. Tables without paper placemats. The piadina costs €7, a fair price if it had been edible. I'd like to add, following the Alternativo's piqued response to my comment, and since this is the only way, that the QR code menu at the tables was nowhere to be found, and we asked for it twice. In response, you told us to sit down and you'd come, and you half-heartedly reeled it off verbally. I understand people don't like a negative review, and "local guide" is a title given by Google regardless, after all, following consistently positive reviews. Except for yours. Oh, don't worry, we know how to use QR codes; we work in networking. I'd say we can close the debate, and you could simply try to present yourself more honestly and, above all, with edible piadinas.

21/02/2026: Avoid at all costs; the staff is absolutely appalling. A waitress offered me a table in 10 minutes and asked me to wait to the side. When a table became available, the owner refused to give it to me and instead seated a group of Italians who had arrived 10 minutes after us. When I explained that her waitress had told us to wait to the side, she maintained her refusal, claiming that I hadn't queued in the correct spot, even though the group she was seating had waited in the exact same place as us without going to the bar entrance like we had. I found the excuse strange and unconvincing. Faced with my confusion, she responded in a particularly disrespectful manner, saying that it wasn't her waitress's job to decide if seats were reserved, but hers, and that she didn't care that I had waited for nothing. I pointed out to her that she could have remained polite since I had been respectful and had simply followed the instructions of one of her employees. Displeased, she ignored me and continued speaking Italian with the other customers. I clearly heard the manager use the word "franchese" (French), as well as insults, even though we had been respectful. I realized that the fact we hadn't waited in the designated area was just a pretext and that she was actually refusing us a table for purely xenophobic reasons, simply because we were French. This bar is nothing but a tourist trap whose staff doesn't even bother to be friendly to the very clientele that makes up their livelihood. Don't waste your money on people like them; there are certainly other establishments that are much more worthwhile. Advice to managers: if contact with customers bothers you this much, you would be better off changing jobs, you are not made for this.
