06/07/2025: Worst attitude. Worst service. So basically all the waiters are super aggressive and angry without any reason. They totally messed with our mood and they have a really bad temper were they just keep shouting. Wouldn’t recommend at all! THE WORST.

05/07/2025: The worst pizza I've ever eaten in Italy. Ingredients completely canned, tasteless, you can't even taste the tomato sauce. Toilet filthy. Drinks were okay, but not even the aperol tasted good Not recommended

25/05/2025: Premetto che il posto è carino (a parte la musica parecchio alta e il relativo rumore di fondo da far fatica a intrattenersi normalmente), il personale disponibile e le buone birre e i vini ,il resto non ci è piaciuto molto. Un calice di vino che era veramente scarso (così è la loro misura standard, ma credetemi non è così in altre simili birrerie, vinoteche, bistro etc). Il bere accompagnato da stuzzichini più che altro di pasta :pizzette focaccia gnocco fritto , tutti freddi, poi taralli, due fettine di Bologna (salume che costa poco) olive e cipolline. Uno dei toast ordinati e’ arrivato bruciato da una parte, nero, l altro un pezzetto, il prosciutto era trasparente ed insipido. Gentile la cameriera voleva rifarceli ma abbiamo lasciato perdere, Prezzo 12 euro a a persona. Può starci . Ma la qualità c noi andrebbe migliorata

24/05/2025: Dico solo una cosa: un ora e mezza di attesa solo per gli antipasti. Prenotando alle 8:30 abbiamo iniziato a mangiare alle 10:15. Cose da pazzi!!!

13/06/2025: My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic Italian meal at La Colombetta. The food was amazing and the service was great - the sisters who run this restaurant go above and beyond to give their customers an authentic Italian experience. We will be back next time we are in Como.

10/06/2025: I dine out frequently and I have to say this was one of the finest culinary experiences I can remember. La Colombetta was an absolute smash hit from the minute we arrived, it’s located in what was once a 13th century church, but completely renovated with a modern chic vibe, all that remains of the church is some of the original ceiling graphics which remain visible. This is family owned and operated, run by three sisters and their brother, also on hand were identical twin daughters, who provided service with 5 star excellence. We were warmly greeted by one of the sisters and provided with a complimentary glass of prosecco and some very tasty thin pita chips with a drizzle of evoo. Followed by their house red wine that was fantastic. We literally wanted to order everything on the menu, but we went with some favorites. Started with the Buratta served with sweet cherry tomatoes, evoo and a balsamic glaze drizzle, very artistically presented, it was excellent, cheese was rich and creamy. For our next course we went with pasta (of course) Tagliolini with Lobster for two, and the Spinach Ravioli with Tomato Sauce and Basil, both were excellent. Then on to the Grilled Lamb chops, again excellent. As much as we wanted to order more, we were stuffed and wanted to leave room for the homemade desserts. We ordered the Crème Brûlée and Lemon & Mandarin Sorbet. I inquired what was taking a few minutes, I was told it’s not ready, we’re making it fresh. This was by far the absolute best Crème Brûlée I had ever had, right out of the oven, even the plate was still hot. Same for the Lemon Sorbet, best I’ve ever had. Everything here is freshly homemade to order. Best restaurant in Como, possibly all of Italy, if you’re there, this is a must! Dining here is like dining with your family, they make you feel right at home. You never know who you might see here, every celebrity that visited Como has dined here, I’m told it’s Clooneys favorite restaurant, De Niro, Sandler, Jagger and many others dine here. When I shared my enthusiasm over the meal, I was invited into the kitchen to meet the rest of the family, this may be the cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen. Reservations strongly recommended. Please note, as this is an intimate spot, I limited my interior pics as not to disturb or invade the other guests. It really is very beautiful.

26/04/2025: Purtroppo Guerci non è più lo stesso... abbiamo mangiato un secondo di pesce, branzino io e ombrina mio marito. Cottura tipo mensa, secco e per nulla saporito. Accompagnato da pessime patate arrosto... insomma una grande delusione! Qualità/prezzo veramente scarso...

14/06/2025: We went there for the two-year anniversary, we had a great time, the staff was friendly, the pizzas were delicious and special. The location is also worth it, we will definitely be back!

28/06/2025: The Vapore restaurant is part of the Hotel of the same name and is located in the small village of Torno, on the road that connects Como to Bellagio. The restaurant has a beautiful and romantic outdoor garden at lake level. Unfortunately, when we were here, it had just rained that same morning and so we were unable to eat outside. The interior of the restaurant is very well-kept and we spent a pleasant Sunday lunch here. The menu offers mainly fish-based dishes, which are served in a refined manner and well-presented.

21/06/2025: Very convenient when boarding the boat, which is just a few meters away. Being able to park right at the door is an advantage. Everything in How was very expensive compared to other beautiful places in Italy.

29/06/2025: Lovely place to stop for lunch, great friendly service staff, had menus in Italian, English, German etc... speciality in fish but the parma ham was great and they made a small spaghetti with pesto for our 3yr old. On the waterfront lovely views

13/04/2025: We discovered this place by chance and were really satisfied. For breakfast we sat in the very comfortable and well-kept room, the brioches were really very good and the choice is very varied: from the classic croissant to more particular things such as the cubic croissant. We'll be back!

15/05/2025: Not the nicest spot to have coffee, although the coffee is great and the brioches tasty. It's very tricky to find parking, but they are THE purveyor of pastries for the Como locals. Decently priced and absolutely delicious pastries, cakes and half-frozens. My go-to shop when I plan to bring pastries to a party.

07/04/2025: Excellent dinner: good pizzas, sandwiches, desserts and drinks. I particularly liked the tiramisu! We were here on an evening when there was a tribute to 883 and a DJ set. The music is very engaging but in my opinion they should reduce the volume between 8pm and 10pm while people are having dinner. The event was supposed to start at 11pm but in reality it started half an hour later but all in all it was a nice evening.

21/06/2025: We happened to be in this lake view restaurant today, we tried a carbonara and a sliced ​​beef. Served and pampered as it should be with coffee offered after our sincere compliments. I recommend!

03/06/2025: Hotel Silvio is above all a hotel with a wonderful view and wonderful service. Mrs. Marta incredibly open and helpful in every matter. Practical advice on sightseeing in the area and not only. Clean rooms, cleaned every day. The restaurant served delicious breakfasts, the service helpful, open and unobtrusive. We will definitely come back here with the whole family.

04/07/2025: Ordered pizza and gelato. The pizza was not great, perhaps the ingredients were not as fresh as I expected. The gelato was pretty good. The server was attentive, patient and friendly. This might be the only Gelateria in Brunate.

02/07/2025: The view was good. Food was decent. The service was horrible. All other tables were served with mats and proper greetings. Except for us. The waitress didn't bother to serve us just because we weren't white. We had to ask for everything twice before she did her job. It is not like we are paying any less. Very unprofessional behaviour.
