26/06/2025: RUDENESS REIGNS. I'll start by saying that, living in Sagnino, I'm only 5 minutes from the bar, and I was a regular customer until recently. Alas, since they put the waitresses Alessandra and Mary on afternoon/evening service, everything has changed for the worse. Unheard of rudeness, you order a drink accompanied by a cutting board (both for a fee) and it almost seems like you're bothering them. The place closes at 8:00 pm, and by 7:30 pm they've already dismantled everything, and if you try to order something else, they huff or roll their eyes in the air. All of this is unheard of, especially for me who was a regular customer. The owner Mattia should better check who he leaves his bar in charge during these hours, I'm sorry but this way they lose customers.. and one of these is me.

03/05/2025: Very welcoming, parking in front, very clean, good breakfast, for the savory side croissant with ham and cheese and the coffees are super good

18/01/2026: A wonderful place! The food is absolutely delicious – you can feel the quality and authentic Italian cuisine in every bite. The service is exceptional, and a special shout-out to the lovely older gentleman who served us – full of class, a smile, and warmth, he made us feel truly special. Plus, the wonderful atmosphere perfectly complements the whole experience. Definitely a place you want to return to. Highly recommended! 🍝🍷

04/10/2025: The bread, desserts, and food are very good, and the selection of spirits is also excellent. Both waitresses are kind and helpful. The owner, a little less so.

30/11/2025: Custom cakes and pastries, privately customized, straight from the Arabian Nights! I remember a few years ago, my then-girlfriend was stunned by the creativity with which the cake was created. Her friends and relatives were captivated by the creativity with which it was created. The price, however, makes it worthwhile, even if it's easy to digest, while also increasing its quality. Congratulations!

17/11/2025: A small pastry shop with ample parking. Excellent products served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

08/11/2025: Tasty and good in the end, but impolite service and unclear pricing. Be careful, it's expensive. €30 for this (see photo). They told us eat in is priced by portion, and take away is by weight, so we asked to take away 2 little bits of salmon, 2 bits of squid and 1 bit of seabass - but got charged €6 per 'portion' and not by weight at the till. Additionally, not all portions are equally sized and I don't know if they take advantage of tourists or not, but we were quite confused and pressured by the person at the till. Additionally, we noticed that if you eat in, it's the same thing, they just heat it in the microwave... At least it was good food, and in a fine restaurant here it would be more expensive for a starter portion like this.

18/10/2025: Top location. Clean and cozy. Top food. Very fresh fish dishes. Top service from the girls in the shop/dining room. Top bill, so to speak. Overall, good.

11/10/2025: This hotel is not as advertised. There is no air conditioning in the offseason. If known prior to booking I would have made reservations at a different accommodation. However this was not communicated in person or online. Our room was at 26 degrees Celsius (79 Fahrenheit) in October which is not acceptable with no circulating air. I placed my complaint with that staff and they assure this would be corrected. However it was not. We were told to open the window (that does not fully open) and to use the fan and that most guests prefer 23 degrees Celsius which is not what it is set at. I will be requesting a full refund due to the fact that there is no air conditioning available during the off season despite advertised amenities. For an accommodation located at the “pearl of the lake” I expected more. Especially considering the price. Save you efforts and book elsewhere.

13/10/2025: Trattoria San Giacomo is the place you find yourself at after you’ve failed to make dinner reservations elsewhere. The wait isn’t too bad. You are in the prettiest part of Bellagio and they offer pillows that you can sit down on as you wait on the stairs. They try their best to accommodate everyone and the staff is very communicative about timing. The food is not great. Perhaps some dishes are good, but overall not great. I decided to keep it simple—I ordered the pasta dish of the day which was a mushroom pasta and the fresh ricotta and spinach ravioli in sage and butter sauce. The pasta dish with mushrooms was so bad that I had them replace it, which they were kind enough to do with no charge. The mushrooms were boiled, tasteless and soggy. The pasta was served with the boiling water it came with, or that’s what I’m assuming as it was clear and bland. The ricotta ravioli on the other hand was good. Good, but not great. This is definitely a restaurant catered to tourists, which is fine. You’re just not going to have a fantastic meal here.

11/10/2025: We waited in line 45 minutes before they opened as you have to or you won’t get a spot, no reservations accepted. They have cushions you can crab and sit on the steps. Inside they play older American music loudly. Wish they had Italian music, would make for a better ambiance. After we were seated inside a little after 7pm it took 15 minutes to take our drink orders then another 15-20 minutes to get our water and coke delivered. We ordered the salad and soup of the day which were fine after we doused them with salt. We ordered the Osso Buco di Vitelo and the Tagliolini with meat sauce. Both were very bland and had no taste, had to douse them with salt. The beef shank was soft and tasted good after seasoning. The pasta was below average even after seasoning, barely any sauce or meat. Over all disappointed with the experience-this is a very hyped up place and not worth the hoops you have to jump through and time to get in here. We hoped for a better experience, but will not be coming back.

27/12/2025: A few nights ago, my wife and I decided to try this bistro recommended by friends, and I was truly surprised. It's a very welcoming place, we immediately felt at ease, the waiters are really friendly, and there's a wide selection of wines. As for the food, my wife ordered a tartare, and I ordered the carbonara, which was truly creamy and creamy! I'll be happy to return.

13/12/2025: We came for lunch at this restaurant, which I frequent occasionally and have always appreciated for its food. Unfortunately, this time the pasta was very salty; I politely pointed this out, and the dish was taken back to the kitchen. When we returned, not only was the waitress rude, but the owner also addressed us in an arrogant and disrespectful manner. This left us very disappointed. Mistakes in the kitchen can happen, but what is unacceptable to me is the lack of respect shown to the customer. Her attitude was shameful, as she tended to raise her voice and insist on being right at all costs. I will never return because respect comes first.
