08/06/2025: I was there for a baptism party. They presented us with a wide selection of sweet and savory snacks and an excellent fruit cake.

01/06/2025: Very professional pastry shop with elegant interiors and kind and prepared staff. The products are very fresh, I recommend the pastry tasting. Possibility to book special cakes. Recommended

12/07/2025: A lovely beer bar in the center of Como. We only stopped for a beer, but overall, the overall experience is very positive. They have a good selection of beers on tap, with some very interesting options, all from craft breweries, including something niche like a lambic. I saw they have a wide selection of bottled beers. We'll definitely be back.

12/07/2025: We spontaneously stopped in for two beers on a Friday afternoon. A lovely, alternative, beer-loving atmosphere. Almost 10 beers on tap and a hand pump. There's also a small shop with beers to take home. There's seating inside and outside (on the street and in the small square opposite). Free salty snacks are served with the beers. There's also the option to get something to eat, which we didn't take advantage of. Card payments accepted. Orders are made at the bar; there's no table service as such.

28/06/2025: I went there last night to eat pizza. Cozy and fresh place Nice and very kind staff Good pizza even if I don't like pizza with a too high crust..... I will definitely go back😀

17/06/2025: The meat in the tartare was good ... but I felt like a cannibal ... the knife cut was fine but those were pieces from a stew ... moreover they usually serve tartare with seasoning .... my husband had the braised meat with polenta .... I have to say the polenta was good .... but it seemed like boiled meat served with polenta .... not even a little sauce .... the service was non-existent .... after a quarter of an hour of practically not eating, no one was in sight ... at this point we decided to pay .... (restaurant prices and not tavern prices) and we left ... I'll take the coffee and dessert to my house .... but I got a 50 cent discount .... and the lady kindly told me that if I told her she would have me remake the dish ..... too bad that once the plates were brought she just disappeared .... maybe I should have gotten up and gone looking for her .... I'm sorry because I usually accept everything ... and it's the first time I've written a review .... but this time I just couldn't keep quiet.... bon appetit to everyone

26/06/2025: RUDENESS REIGNS. I'll start by saying that, living in Sagnino, I'm only 5 minutes from the bar, and I was a regular customer until recently. Alas, since they put the waitresses Alessandra and Mary on afternoon/evening service, everything has changed for the worse. Unheard of rudeness, you order a drink accompanied by a cutting board (both for a fee) and it almost seems like you're bothering them. The place closes at 8:00 pm, and by 7:30 pm they've already dismantled everything, and if you try to order something else, they huff or roll their eyes in the air. All of this is unheard of, especially for me who was a regular customer. The owner Mattia should better check who he leaves his bar in charge during these hours, I'm sorry but this way they lose customers.. and one of these is me.

07/07/2025: I don't understand the negative reviews here at all. The menu, the quality, the service, and the ambiance have been excellent for years. We were there the last few days - despite the restaurant being completely full both inside and out, we got everything very quickly, the food was great, and despite the large number of guests and the heat, everyone was friendly! For me, the best restaurant in Porlezza! Thank you :-)

18/07/2025: Highly not recommended for a place to have breakfast outside, sitting down. They never serve staff who are incapable of monitoring the situation for at least half an hour, unless you go and find someone yourself. It's better if you have it at the counter. Also, they have a pastry shop and at 10 in the morning they're always out of the classic croissants. Their good thing is their location.

10/07/2025: A great place for an aperitif, snack, or breakfast. The only problem is that if there aren't many people sitting outside, the staff tends not to come out to check on a customer. In fact, we've had to wait over 20 minutes before anyone notices us several times.

25/06/2025: Today we were at this restaurant for the first time and we opted for the "Menu of the Day" formula: at a cost of €17.50 per person, the menu includes a first course, a second course with side dish, service charge, water and 1/4 of wine. I had the meat dishes: Tortiglioni Sausage and broccoli and Saltimbocca alla romana with mashed potatoes; NonZio had the fish dishes: Farfalle with seafood ragù and Roasted octopus with spinach. We were both happy with the dishes they served us: they were well cooked and tasty. The bread basket was good and also included a small olive roll and a whole wheat one with sesame seeds. The warm focaccia with oil and oregano, offered as an entrée, was very welcome. Since the Menu of the Day formula also included wine, I chose a sparkling white, which was very pleasant (NonZio instead only had water because he had to drive...). To close the lunch, an inevitable macchiato coffee for both of us, which is not included in the menu, but is charged only 1 euro (while everywhere else now it costs 1.50 if not 2 euros). The only flaw we found, the very very slow service (or perhaps disorganized): as soon as we sat down as a couple they came to ask for the order but without having brought us the menu, once we had the menu we waited more than a quarter of an hour to order. After the first course (which arrived very slowly) we waited almost half an hour before the second course arrived, so much so that we were no longer even very hungry... Fortunately we were not in a hurry, but we entered at 12.45 and left at past 2... I hope it's a coincidence, because it's a nice place and the staff is numerous, but perhaps today it was a little disorganized. We will return to try other menus and also the pizza and hope to be able to correct the evaluation of the service. A question: can anyone tell me what the mega robot outside means?

03/06/2025: The food was delicious! We took the pasta ragu, swordfish carpaccio and for the dessert the brownie and the apple tart accompanied by a scoop of ice cream. Everything was amazing! Also the view from the terrace is stunning. Thank you to the restaurant and the chefs. Hope the next visitors will enjoy as much as we did! 🥰

03/04/2025: Lo que notamos después de venir en tren desde Suiza es lo barato que es en Italia en comparación con lo que hemos estado pagando. Estábamos basados en Varenna, así que usamos mucho los transbordadores durante 2 días, así que nos bajamos en Bellagio, que es hermoso pero muy ocupado. Caminamos por una calle trasera para encontrar una plaza bastante tranquila donde por suerte tuvimos una mesa afuera al sol. Cerveza grande 6€ y cerveza pequeña 4€ , con este café hay una tienda adjunta donde pudimos comprar un gran paquete de patatas fritas a 3€ . 50 y los comeremos con nuestras bebidas.

15/04/2025: I had two barley coffees sitting at the table, yes, the view of the lake is beautiful but in Porlezza there are others... well, €6 and I'm not a tourist!!!

27/06/2025: A great place for an aperitif with friends or for dinner. In the summer you can sit outside in a pedestrian square without traffic noise. The restaurant food is excellent, better than the appetizers at the aperitif (which are still good)
