The 7.2 Bistrot is a place run by 2 young girls; attentive and friendly service.
Fresh products, both sweet and savory (and what can I say, there is always something ready at any time of the day).
15/04/2025: Small, fine shop. Treats 😋 and the best espresso in the area.
Service was very nice.

And then I saw the hotel is shut down.

27/05/2025: Service was horrible, our server was incredibly rude and we sat there for 45 mins without ever being served. When I asked if I could order as he walked by, he yelled at me and said “NO”. I would not recommend this establishment

There's no cover service, which is appreciated because they inflate the bill significantly with this charge.
We had lasagna, perfect quality/price.
You can go elsewhere, but you'll probably be paying an exorbitant price for similar quality.

15/10/2024: Nice place to stop off for a coffee and sit outside. The waitress was nice and told us we could go straight outside and she would bring our drinks out to us (even with our language barrier).

14/05/2025: Das Essen war gar nicht berauschend und hat uns alle an Convenient Food erinnert. Die Fertigpizza nur kurz in den Ofen, die Cannelloni aus der Packung, flach und auch nur aufgewärmtes Fertiggericht. Die Polpette (Fleischkügelchen) erinnerten uns an Dosenfutter und die Kartoffeln dazu waren eher unappetitlich. Das gleiche gilt für das Risotto. Das ganze zudem überteuert für die gelieferte Qualität.

24/04/2025: Estuvimos parando en Varenna por unas noches, así que usamos la extensa red de ferrys para visitar más pueblos alrededor del lago que incluía este en mennagio. Hermoso lugar con este café que tenía asientos al aire libre con vistas a la plaza pavimentada. Tuvimos un peroni cada uno a € 5 , luego un panini de jamón & ensalada de queso a € 7 cada uno servido por personal amable.
22/04/2025: Buen restaurante con precio razonable, verduras frescas hizo todo mejor. Fuimos a Menaggio coincidencia y luego encontramos este lugar.

22/05/2025: Thieves!!! I happened upon it by mistake. Never a worse choice.
A piadina and a 0.5 bottle of water. 11 EURO. I was passing by for work and when I asked if they had a set menu the answer was "yes but only for workers, I don't know if you are a worker."
P.S. piadina one euro more because I asked for it with brie' instead of mozzarella.
I repeat THIEVES
17/05/2025: We were tempted to use it because we had to wait for a ferry. The place is not very charming, and the construction work going on nearby does not help. However, we ate the tastiest pizza in Italy there! We were very surprised by the taste, the sauce made of real tomatoes, the amount of toppings and the quality of the dough. We recommend it with a clear conscience. We will definitely come back on our next visit.

Pleasant business lunch. Convenient for the location and away from the hubbub of other places in the centre. UPDATE: LOCATION PERMANENTLY CLOSED at the end of 2023.
