Apparently unpretentious bar, normal but with completely unjustified downtown restaurant prices.
We will not return and do not recommend.

05/01/2025: On Tuesday December 17, 2024, having just arrived in ROME, and after leaving our belongings at the hotel, we were happy to find this establishment which closed late. We were able to taste a good beer and a good Italian pizza. We were very well received, very welcoming staff, very good value for money. Thank you and best wishes for the year 2025. M. LEBRUN

22/03/2025: Definitely an elegant place, I took coffee with cream at the counter (1.8€) and it was served in a small cup, quite anonymous. The coffee was good, the cream instead came from the spray can... nothing special. Obviously, artisanal coffee, if done with care, is something else entirely.

15/04/2025: This is the worst place i have ever been to, it ruined our day the service the food was absolutely disgusting i do not know how they have the audacity to stand on the street knowing that the place is disgusting. €205 for the bill we did not eat anything the waiters are not interested in your opinion.
Avoid avoid at any cost. I feel disappointed disgusted and ripped off by them.
04/04/2025: Don't order what the waiter recommends and what's not on the menu, or you'll end up with a very large bill.

11/02/2025: Mi vengono a trovare degli amici e domenica mattina li porto a Villa Borghese e decidiamo di fare colazione alla CASINA. Si lo so che sedemdomi alla casina costa tanto e sono anche contento di darti i mie soldi a un patto: ordiniamo 4 cornetti 2 caffè e 1 cappuccino con l'acqua. I cornetti freddi da frigo tutto senza acqua e richiesta più volte per cui i caffè freddi. Premetto che il personale sarebbe stato più cordiale e soprattutto educato magari ci potevamo passare sopra ma l'arroganza e la cialtroneria del personale ancora peggio. Mi chiedi 30 euro per quelle 4 cose schifose significa che non siete degni di stare in posto unico del genere e neanche un lavoro dovreste avere per rendervi conto di cosa significa gestire un posto del genere. Spero che il responsabile o gestore mi risponda per dirglielo di persona che è meglio cambiare mestiere. Del resto vedendo il resto delle recensioni mi rendo conto di cosa sono.

One of the worst places I have ever visited in Rome. They steal your money, their prices are not available in all of Europe and you can't get a receipt. I asked the waiter twice if the pizza was fresh. He said yes, but the pizza was cold and frozen. I do not recommend it. They are scammers. The worst service. Pizza Margherita with beer and bottle of water 63€ 👎🏻

28/03/2025: Planned to pop in for a quick coffee, staff was very pushy and demanded we also have something sweet. We decided to stay despite there being a 17% service charge. The coffee and tiramisu was mediocre and the americano with milk had no milk. After an uncomfortable 20 minute stay- due to the pushy staff, the bill came to £32 but was told as we were paying cash it would be £35 ( small americano, medium cappuccino and a unwanted tiramisu), having paid this we were then given the incorrect change. This was raised and the change given was still 10 cents short. Absolute tourist trap and a scam. Avoid at all costs.

10/03/2024: Siamo entrati in un locale praticamente vuoto. Abbiamo ordinato antipasto e primo per noi e primo e secondo per le bambine.
Il rombo in crosta era freddo, tutti i piatti assolutamente insipidi per l'assenza di sale. Porzioni modeste (abbiamo ordinato due tipi di frittura per 3/4 persone abbondanti, ce ne hanno portate per massimo una persona ciascuna). Per i primi, nonostante non ci fosse molta gente (una ventina di coperti, compresi noi) ci hanno "consigliato di ordinare un solo tipo di primo perché poteva essere un problema (?????). Dopo un'ora ed il locale ancora vuoto ancora non erano ancora arrivati i primi (ne abbiamo ordinati 3 sughi differenti, per 8 persone). Quando sono arrivati, la pasta era scotta, il sugo sciapo, e di pesce, una leggera ombra.
Esperienza molto negativa e da non ripetere. Mi dispiace per le potenzialità di questo ristorante di pesce che però risente di mancanza di organizzazione, professionalità e prezzi più adeguati al loro scarso servizio.
