04/10/2025: I went to this location because I wanted a small cup of ice cream. The ice cream is industrial and you can tell it's not handmade. There's no service because I took it away, and for just two scoops, it cost me €5. I advise the Carabinieri stationed on the first floor of the same building to check it out, since there are no prices displayed, which are mandatory.

02/10/2025: We came to order something warm to drink after visiting the museum as I've got a cold and don't feel to well. In stead of being greeted with hospitality you get greeted with hostility! We ordered 2 coffees and 1 Croissant. Prices so high for these things it came up to almost 15 euros!! But that's not the worst part - I was waiting for the bathroom and the guy whom took my order didn't see me, he began complaining about the fact we "took up a table" and started making nasty comments about us only ordering 1 Croissant. I finally got into the bathroom to find it swimming in pee. Was absolutely disgusting! Couldn't even use it as if I took one stepall my white shoes would be covered in pee. Horrible avoid

26/05/2025: I had a very dry chicken schnitzel for €28.00 and a salad for €8.00, which was €36.00 for a kind of Caesar salad. Definitely way too much! The service was very friendly and attentive.

25/05/2025: Waited a long time for food. Waited, after asking twice, for bill. The waiter still didn't bring it. I had to ask another waiter and then go inside. Food was mediocre. Zero presentation. Won't bother again.

10/06/2025: Sono stato in questo locale una domenica a pranzo con la famiglia e non ci tornerò più. Troppe cose che non vanno in cucina,dall'antipasto un pò misero alla pasta scotta a dei secondo cotti male!

Abbiamo optato per il menù fisso che propone piatti preparati con ingredienti a Km 0. Nel complesso ottimo il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo. Se avremo la possibilità ci ritorneremo

30/09/2025: Everyone was rude. I wanted to leave and they said no because there's a surcharge. Not even a "sorry." Both them and the tobacconist ask for cash and try endlessly. The menu was bare and nothing on the wall. I was just passing through, but I won't be there again.

05/10/2025: we were thursty after a bit of walking so decided to sit down just to have a drink which we did say to one of the waitress. they prepered for us table for 4. While we waited for the drinks another waitress came and asked about food order. When we said we just here ford drinks he started to bahave rude like we would done something very bad. we decided ti walk of without having the drinks where the waitress almost wanted to force us to stay. not recomened at all. avoid. regret we didnt read the reviews before.

29/06/2025: La pulizia in questo locale è un optional, personale sgradevole , cibo appena sufficiente, nel prendere un gelato, tra l'altro molto caro, il gelataio prendeva lo sporzionatore, quello che fa la pallina di gelato per capirci, da un contenitore colmo d'acqua, che visto il colore stava lì da 3 giorni, e mentre usava lo strumento, colava questa acqua all'interno delle vaschette di gelato, da brividi

08/06/2025: Dopo una brutta esperienza in uno dei luoghi “instagrammabili” dove ci eravamo recati per regalarci una colazione con dei lievitati che non fossero i classici cornetti surgelati, nel quale siamo stati completamente ignorati, per strada notiamo un via vai da questo locale e decidiamo di tentare la sorte. Il personale al bancone era simpatico e disponibile, ma soprattutto il croissant era degno della declinazione in francese, senza doverlo quindi chiamare “cornetto”. Fragrante e burroso, arioso e dolce il giusto. Anche i mignon molto buoni e freschi, sia la cassatina che il babà alla crema. In parole povere, una ottima esperienza dopo la disavventura precedente, che sicuramente ci conferma come a volte un luogo inaspettato possa regalare molte più soddisfazioni di uno “di tendenza”.

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

04/09/2025: Scam restaurant as others have said. They will offer you extras without telling you the price. Next thing you know you've got a massive bill. These reviews should be listed under Taverna Alfredo as that is the name they're trading under. Avoid at all costs.

25/07/2025: I'm leaving this review because it's not the first time it's happened to us. We wanted to get a piadina before the movie, but after almost 15 minutes of queuing at the cash register, a guy who was working ALONE—and I repeat ALONE—between the kitchen and the cash register, poor guy, told us we had at least another 20 minutes to wait. We left. You open a business in a movie theater where people want to buy food quickly and leave a poor guy to work alone? With the money you lose every day because of people like me who leave, I assure you, you could afford to hire more. Solidarity with that poor exploited guy and fire the store manager, who certainly isn't doing a good job.

09/10/2025: This is a scam. They make us pay for a different, more expensive item than what we ordered. When we told them it wasn't what we ordered, the server tried to brush it off by saying, "Same, same." After we firmly insisted three times that it wasn't what we ordered, they finally offered to correct it. What's even more absurd is that the cashier added another 2 euros to the bill. After giving me the exact total in cash and saying, "This is what I ordered. You're wrong, so check again," they finally managed to get it right. They're ready to scam tourists, so if you're planning on going, you better be careful.

09/10/2025: I was looking for a cafe to sit down before my train, but the waiter tried to solicit customers. Never go there. They wouldn't give me the bill, then charged me for something I didn't order, which was overpriced. Even when I argued that the bill was wrong, they secretly overcharged me by 2 euros. Never, never, never, never go there. Anyone reading this review, don't ever regret this experience. Restaurants like this ruin the image of Italy. The owner should be ashamed of himself when he sees this.

08/10/2025: Super rude!! My partner went to buy a pastry while I used the bathroom and they began to yell at us about not purchasing an item. The blonde woman at the front was particularly unpleasant.
