11/06/2026: A true culinary highlight in the heart of Bologna! 🇮🇹✨ NOI – Quelli di Cantina Bentivoglio in the Mercato delle Erbe combines the relaxed atmosphere of a market with the quality of excellent traditional cuisine. We tried several dishes – including the Lasagne verdi tradizionali, Tagliatelle al ragù bolognese, the green stuffed pasta, and, to finish, a fantastic tiramisu. Everything was superb: fresh pasta, intense flavors, and exactly the honest, down-to-earth cuisine you look for in Bologna. The lasagne was particularly delightful – perfectly layered, creamy, with a rich ragù, and prepared with great care. The tiramisu was also a worthy finale: light, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the location in the Mercato delle Erbe creates a special atmosphere – vibrant, authentic, yet cozy. Here, you can feel the connection between tradition and modern Bolognese culinary culture. For anyone who wants to enjoy authentic pasta and regional specialties in Bologna, this is a definite recommendation. We would come back anytime! 🍝❤️

05/06/2026: A must-try every time I come to Bologna. Well-executed traditional cuisine, excellent tigelle (served with delicious Modena pesto) and crescentine (enjoyed with cured meats, mortadella mousse, and many other local specialties). Excellent homemade pasta (tortellini, tagliatelle), and a traditional Bolognese cutlet. Also worth trying are the meatballs, a true standout that blends tradition and innovation. A well-stocked wine list, prompt, courteous service, and fair prices.

19/05/2026: A café with an adjoining artisanal pastry shop. An intimate, clean, and private location. Friendly, polite atmosphere. Very professional front-desk service. High-quality sweet and savory pastries, mini pastries and cakes, large leavened products, shortcrust pastry, etc. I must give a special and well-deserved compliment to the pastry chef/waiter (vintage, "which perfectly suits the interior decor," to be precise, wearing a Naif hat). He's capable of taking care of the customer (with absolute discretion), transforming a short break from work or relaxation into a pampering experience, creating a truly family-like atmosphere. 19/05/2026: A small café with refined and excellent artisanal pastries, it serves excellent breakfasts. In good weather, there are also some outdoor seating. The aperitivo is also excellent, with a wide variety of options. It's superior to all the other cafés in the area.

17/05/2026: There's a lot to improve! Starting with the tortellini in broth: the tortellini weren't bad, but the broth was flavorless, and they should be served HOT, but they were lukewarm. The staff was inattentive and inexperienced. Despite its name, it doesn't respect Emilian tradition. NOT RECOMMENDED

12/05/2026: It's 5 stars just because I can't give more, bravi bravi bravi! The food is simply delicious and the staff's service is impeccable. Waiters, waitresses, managers bartenders, cooks are all very young, kind, and professional. You can't tell the difference between gluten free and normal dishes and they are very through in making sure that there is no cross contamination. The strawberry tiramisú was THE BEST tiramisu I have eaten in my whole life 🍓 Grazie davvero ragazzi!!

The quiet and cool outdoor courtyard is lovely, perfect for a relaxing break even on the hottest days. The kitchen offers excellent traditional Bolognese dishes, well-prepared and truly appetizing. A special mention goes to the extensive gluten-free menu: from crescentine to lasagna, tortellini, and other typical specialties, all carefully prepared with taste and accompanied by excellent cured meats. The staff is very attentive to the needs of celiacs and follows very strict criteria. The wine list is also good and varied. Considering its central location and frequented by tourists, the quality/price ratio is truly excellent. A highly recommended place for those who want to enjoy authentic Bolognese cuisine, including gluten-free options.

03/06/2026: The varied menu caters to all tastes: salads, piadinas, burgers, crescentine and tigelle, pizza sandwiches, and pidaza. The delicious fried foods and light, easy-to-digest pizza pala are also noteworthy. The unmissable burgers and the legendary Mingo! The delicious banana split! Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. The summer garden, with an effective organic mosquito repellent system, is very welcoming on warm evenings.

25/05/2026: Here's a place that has always reinvented itself over time, which is precisely why it remains so popular. It's more of an osteria, given the variety of food, from main courses to simple sandwiches. Numerous events take place throughout the week, including concerts, shows, and various initiatives. A fun fact that perhaps not everyone knows: the name Wolf isn't the English translation of the word "wolf," but rather an abbreviation of the name Wolfrano (the restaurant's founder in 1960).

23/05/2026: The pasta dishes and pizzas aren't bad, but they're expensive! It must be said that these days, almost everywhere in the city center is like this!

09/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming bar/café. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The girls are always courteous and smiling. It's becoming a pleasant daily habit to have coffee almost every morning.

24/07/2025: I came in on the morning of July 23, 2023, after a twenty-year absence. I had a full breakfast. I found a simple atmosphere and fresh pastries. The cured meats are unusual and not my cup of tea. I assume the manager speaks English. Tables are outside.

04/05/2026: This is the place to eat fish in Bologna. Not fancy, not cheap, but just as it should be done. A perfect carpaccio of fresh fish from the market. The fish of the day was a really good grilled Dorade, with grilled onions, tomatoes and patatoes. A perfect deal.

11/04/2026: A friendly atmosphere, even for children. Friendly service, including the chef and cooks, and the entire staff. I recommend it for a pleasant evening.

01/03/2026: We visited only for aperitivo; they have a good selection of spirits, something some might overlook but is actually very important. We had six different cocktails, three each, and all were well-executed. Just the right amount of ice (which blocks the drink and keeps it cold), very balanced (the recipes are therefore adhered to), and not overdiluted. The appetizers aren't limited to chips and peanuts, but a nice platter with a little bit of everything, all of good quality. The total cost was absolutely in line with what we were served.
