High-quality sweet and savory pastries, mini pastries and cakes, large leavened products, shortcrust pastry, etc. I must give a special and well-deserved compliment to the pastry chef/waiter (vintage, "which perfectly suits the interior decor," to be precise, wearing a Naif hat). He's capable of taking care of the customer (with absolute discretion), transforming a short break from work or relaxation into a pampering experience, creating a truly family-like atmosphere. We tried several dishes – including the Lasagne verdi tradizionali, Tagliatelle al ragù bolognese, the green stuffed pasta, and, to finish, a fantastic tiramisu. Everything was superb: fresh pasta, intense flavors, and exactly the honest, down-to-earth cuisine you look for in Bologna. The lasagne was particularly delightful – perfectly layered, creamy, with a rich ragù, and prepared with great care. The tiramisu was also a worthy finale: light, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the location in the Mercato delle Erbe creates a special atmosphere – vibrant, authentic, yet cozy. Here, you can feel the connection between tradition and modern Bolognese culinary culture. For anyone who wants to enjoy authentic pasta and regional specialties in Bologna, this is a definite recommendation. We would come back anytime! 🍝❤️

05/06/2026: A must-try every time I come to Bologna. Well-executed traditional cuisine, excellent tigelle (served with delicious Modena pesto) and crescentine (enjoyed with cured meats, mortadella mousse, and many other local specialties). Excellent homemade pasta (tortellini, tagliatelle), and a traditional Bolognese cutlet. Also worth trying are the meatballs, a true standout that blends tradition and innovation. A well-stocked wine list, prompt, courteous service, and fair prices.

15/07/2026: Excellent restaurant with an extensive gluten-free menu. I tried the charcuterie board with excellent homemade gluten-free bread, lasagna, and a zabaglione cake. Prices aren't cheap, but the quality is average to high!

13/07/2026: They offered every single pasta on the menu (including the stuffed pastas) as gluten free! It was so good I got two pastas. The sauces were fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend for celiac and non-celiacs. Their rating should be higher.

04/05/2026: This is the place to eat fish in Bologna. Not fancy, not cheap, but just as it should be done. A perfect carpaccio of fresh fish from the market. The fish of the day was a really good grilled Dorade, with grilled onions, tomatoes and patatoes. A perfect deal.

The delicious fried foods and light, easy-to-digest pizza pala are also noteworthy. The unmissable burgers and the legendary Mingo! The delicious banana split! Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. The summer garden, with an effective organic mosquito repellent system, is very welcoming on warm evenings.

It's more of an osteria, given the variety of food, from main courses to simple sandwiches. Numerous events take place throughout the week, including concerts, shows, and various initiatives. A fun fact that perhaps not everyone knows: the name Wolf isn't the English translation of the word "wolf," but rather an abbreviation of the name Wolfrano (the restaurant's founder in 1960).

08/06/2026: On the evening of Saturday, May 30th, before leaving the restaurant, after asking the cashier to transfer my drink from the glass to the plastic, he tried to convince me that I hadn't paid for it. After numerous explanations and providing proof of payment via electronic wallet, I was unable to convince him; he remained firm in his belief that I was dishonest. Not even my friends, who witnessed the payment, helped the situation. Furthermore, the brave cashier even withheld my drink (I repeat: that I had paid for). This is the first time in my honest life that I've experienced this kind of treatment. I strongly advise this person to study how to treat customers in the restaurant industry.

26/07/2026: We chose this pastry shop to have a cake made to celebrate my son's graduation last Friday, July 24th. My heartfelt compliments go to the staff, who, from the moment we booked (by telephone) onwards, immediately proved to be competent and extremely kind. Our request was fully satisfied in the realization. Furthermore, subsequently (after my son passed, with flying colors, an exam for another course, I thought of surprising him by having a second cake with congratulations) I called the pastry shop again, with very little notice, to ask if it was possible to add another cake. As on the first call, they were super kind, competent and extremely helpful. Both cakes were EXCELLENT, FRESH, so much so that the guests asked us where we had gotten them and complimented us. As well as being delicious and aesthetically beautiful, you helped make our day of celebrations special and you made us look great with the guests. Highly recommended 👍🏻

22/05/2026: Paying €20 for "1 kg of fried food" (a mini bowl of mixed fried fish from the supermarket) is the equivalent of authorized theft. A dinner at a neighborhood bar thus takes on the pretensions of a dinner at a gourmet restaurant. See you never again.
