23/07/2024: In Bologna kann man ja bekanntlich nicht schlecht essen, aber etwas besser geht‘s doch. Schon alleine die Tatsache, dass das Lokal an einem Samstag Abend nicht ausgebucht ist (in Bologna wohlgemerkt!), spricht für sich. Und Stammgäste habe ich auch keine gesehen … Vielleicht gab es einen Besitzerwechsel? Oder hat die Renovierung die Touristen angelockt??

19/04/2024: Most of the vegetables had no flavor. Some of the vegetables (chard?) were gray. The fennel was tough. The meat dish tasted mediocre. The coffee tasted like it used the cheapest beans from the supermarket. You have to load the menu using a QR code. Be careful, if you go through the entire process, the restaurant will have your phone number. You end up on WhatsApp. Under no circumstances request the menu there, but click on the link yourself so that the menu opens. Then delete the chat.

10/07/2024: We found this cafe as it was close to our hotel and open before noon. They had an incredible selection of different food. We ordered the focaccia and prosciutto melone, capirci and a pizza. All very good. Friendly staff. Mostly locals eating here.

16/08/2024: Closed is not the same as open, even on August 16th. If you are not able to update timetables on Google, Bologna can do without you very well.

23/06/2024: Stopped for breakfast. The brioches and the coffee are good. The restaurant is small and does not do table service. Fast, friendly and prepared staff. A few steps from the stadium. Ideal for a sweet pit stop! Okay

09/08/2024: Genuino, il primo aggettivo che mi viene in mente per questo bistrot. Genuino come l'oste, un ragazzo giovane e gentile che asseconda le richieste degli avventori più esigenti con naturalezza e cortesia, come uno spritz con la fetta di limone e poco ghiaccio. Genuini e di qualità gli stuzzichini di accompagnamento alle bevande: olive, tarallini, pizzette, patatine e non è scontato che le patatine siano tutte fragranti e saporite. I tavolini essenziali ma decorosi sotto il portico ospitano la clientela più svariata: gli ospiti fissi e quelli di passaggio, i turisti, gli amici dell'oste, i residenti nei dintorni che anche il 9 di agosto possono trovare refrigerio in un bicchiere di vino o in un cocktail fresco. Eh sì perché il "matto" chiude solo pochissimi giorni all'anno, forse il nome deriva proprio dalla sua dedizione al lavoro o forse da qualche frequentatore...comunque sia merita di essere scoperto.

06/08/2024: It was quiet when we visited (about 9 on a Tues night) but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pretty traditional I would say, very reasonably priced. We paid 10 euros for our basic pasta dishes and 6 euros for half a carafe of red wine.

07/07/2024: Excellent trattoria not far from historic Bologna and Bologna Centrale. Wonderful Ragu and Tortellini in a cream sauce. The Tiramisu was to die for. Pop in if you are in the area….you won’t be disappointed. PS, the staff were so welcoming.

19/04/2024: The fresh pasta shop 'Al vero tortellino bolognese' also under new management offers its customers tasty but light products, handcrafted according to the highest Bolognese tradition. Tortellini, lasagna, passatelli, gnocchi are on display on the counter; tasty desserts, biscuits, rice or yoghurt cakes, pastries for breakfast or cheerful snacks. For years I have been turning to the people who work there to reserve or purchase their products, to be consumed immediately or placed in the freezer. The environment is simple and tidy; often the making of tortellini takes place on a table before our eyes; from the kitchen comes a delicious aroma of ragù....

11/08/2024: I do not recommend it, expensive and poor quality pasta, from a supermarket package.

07/08/2024: It's fresh, it's good and the staff is very friendly. A very good random discovery. Want to go back to discover other dishes on the menu. Gnocchi alla sorrentina, scalopine alla bolognese, pizza, all very good.

06/06/2024: All members of staff are super kind. Espresso as good as it can be in Italy, which means very good for me :) Highly recommended!

30/07/2024: Posto scoperto per caso seppur vicino a casa e niente da allora si mangia la pizza solo lì tanto è buona e la mandi giù in scioltezza ( non rimane mai sullo stoma o indice di utilizzo di prodotti di qualità) Titolare e personale ( pizzaiolo compreso) super carini. Provare per credere.

31/08/2024: We had dinner inside the restaurant, a refined environment full of various furnishing objects; the dishes ordered were refined and spectacular, the service was kind and never intrusive. TOP restaurant, you are always a guarantee. To be repeated. Compliments!

30/08/2024: Small place with narrow spaces, uncomfortable tables for 4 people, some in too dark positions. Menu that ranges from game to fish-based proposals without a precise idea, some references to Bolognese cuisine; generally very complex dishes that attract curiosity when reading them without giving positive confirmation to the palate, the flavors are often too unrelated. Prices that have significantly increased compared to a few years ago. In my opinion, the website needs to be completely redone.

03/08/2024: Very courteous and knowledgeable staff, possibility of consuming very tasty and well-finished vegetarian platters and wraps. The drinks are excellent value for money: they range from wines to classic cocktails and lesser-known variations of the same, all always accompanied by the smile and patience of the bartenders.
