18/09/2025: I ordered the cake for my daughter.... It was simply breathtaking in its decoration and quality. A truly gorgeous cake that received compliments from all the guests.... It was so perfect I almost hated cutting it! Congratulations and thank you so much!

15/09/2025: They serve HOT water with their coffee... such a popular and renowned bar DOESN'T HAVE A FRIDGE!!! AND THEY DON'T SERVE COLD WATER, BUT HOT!!! TO THE CUSTOMERS WHO UNFORTUNATELY DROP THEIR COFFEE THERE!!!... They should be ashamed!!! THEY SHOULD GIVE THEIR LICENSE AND THE BAR TO THOSE WHO DO IT WITH A PROFESSIONAL CONSCIENCE!!! "STEP AWAY AND SHAME ON YOU VIIII...!!!!!!!!! SHAME...!!!!!!!!!

12/10/2025: Terrible. Apperol Sprintz €9 without orange. As a tourist, they rip you off. They wouldn't let us pay by card (after insisting, it worked). Now, Toraldo coffee.

27/09/2025: Well located with a view of the piazza. Quiet. Prices are a bit higher than usual in Naples.

04/10/2025: Terrible, a tourist trap. Poor cleanliness, rude, inexperienced waiters. High prices for poor food and service. They're very evasive about prices and don't provide receipts.

11/09/2025: Pasta has to be eaten with plastic cutlery. The waiter tried to cheat us out of €5. The food wasn't tasty, and I wouldn't go back. (The €2 cafe is also cheeky.)

12/10/2025: Extremely harsh chatter, a terrible experience, and we still hadn't recovered from the undercooked pastiera. VERY UNPLEASANT CASHIER

30/09/2025: I just went to Ambrosino on Via Scarlatti Vomero for a plate of pasta with potatoes and provola. I wish I'd never had it before! The provola was nonexistent; they forgot to put it in. The pasta had the consistency of yesterday's pasta that they'd reheated in the microwave. So they served me a dry plate of pasta without the proper blend of potatoes and provola, dry to the point of being inedible and with a strange, stale taste. Furthermore, when I mentioned this to the cashier at checkout (a whopping €11.00 for such a piece of junk), she didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience and told me to pay quickly and leave (which was enough to make her face swollen). So I strongly advise against eating at AMBROSINO ON VIA SCARLATTI to avoid experiencing similar, unfortunate situations.

18/10/2025: Absolute rip-off. 12 euros for a 25cl beer and a glass of prosecco. Run away. No menu with prices. It's designed to rip off tourists.

17/10/2025: Shameful staff. Tried to pretend they couldn’t accept my bank card, even though it worked perfectly, just so they could get cash (I didn’t have any). I was finally able to use it and paid. The owner was aggressive, swore at me and used racist language (all of which I understood). Just avoid this place, they’re crooks. Un vergognoso posto al Napoli.

06/06/2025: I booked a room here at the refundable rate (you must pay in full up front), and spoke with Tania via e-mail. She was response, give a few days, and very helpful. However, a month later when I unfortunately needed to cancel the entire trip due to a personal situation, I received no response to multiple e-mails asking for the refund. It has been weeks with no response. Be aware that even though there is a refund policy, it seems they do not honor it.

18/05/2025: In the Boccacelio room, it was impossible to rest because of the noise of a motor that ran 24 hours a day (it was like sleeping next to a kitchen extractor fan). Contact with the hotel management was only via WhatsApp. They were very, very sorry but offered no solution or compensation.

21/08/2025: De Pascale is the pastry shop that made me fall in love with Babá, their specialty. Prices have risen a bit over time, but the desserts remain delicious. On Sundays, it's best to reserve by phone or come before peak hours. Generally, you can dine in or at the outdoor tables, as well as takeout.

05/08/2025: A historic pastry shop in the heart of Avellino's main street. A quiet and welcoming place, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the desserts are excellent. During our stop, we enjoyed an exceptional baba with cream and black cherry. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

26/09/2025: Excellent aperitif with high-quality appetizers, exceeding every expectation. Impeccable service. The waiter was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to answer any questions. Giovanni is the waiter every restaurant should have. Thank you so much for this wonderful break.

19/10/2025: Food here was absolutely delicious. It felt as if the owners were serving and cooking the meals for you. Would recommend the lemon pasta as well as the fettuccine bolognese.

15/05/2025: Jösses vilket stroppigt ställe. Servitörerna som hade koll inomhus i stora rummet var så sjukt otrevliga. Vi var ett stort sällskap på 9 personer varav 2 barn. Barnen ville såklart ha glass från glassdisken så vi reste på oss och gick och betalade och hämtade. Detta för att gelato inte fanns på menyn. När vi väl betalt och fått vår glass och skulle sätta oss med de andra som drack kaffe och åt dessert, blev vi avvisade trots att vi påpekade att vi tillhörde gänget där inne. Glassen fick ätas ute. Kul. Nej.

15/05/2025: Un Gran caffè ai massimi livelli con prodotti d'eccellenza e personale ai massimi livelli. Atmosfera unica e dettagli del locale da lasciare senza fiato. Anche il conto lascia senza fiato ma comunque in linea con l'offerta e la magia del luogo. Chi passa da Napoli deve comunque andarci, ne vale la pena!

26/08/2025: Walking around the area, I decided to grab an espresso at this coffee shop, and it was a sure thing. Great coffee and great service.

21/09/2025: The place itself is nice and welcoming, but why offer 0.4% beers if they don't have glasses to serve them in? I ended up paying for a 0.4% and they served me a 0.3%, claiming they didn't have any glasses. When I pointed this out, they first ignored me and then replied that they didn't know what to say, with incredible rudeness and zero customer care.

23/05/2025: We attended a lecture by Prof Stefano Vitale, a well-known geologist and scientist. The bar is very cute and beautiful. Their service and drinks were 100%.

22/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a decidedly negative experience. We stopped in for a quick breakfast and ordered two cappuccinos and two croissants. The cappuccinos were cold and completely ruined, while the croissants were dry and stale, clearly from the day before. We brought everything back to the counter practically intact, explaining the situation, but there was no attempt to rectify the situation, let alone an apology or even a hint of regret. The staff was completely unhelpful! We left hungry, having eaten nothing, but above all disappointed. Unacceptable for a place that should have at least a modicum of customer service. Absolutely not recommended!

10/09/2025: Worst cappuccino in Naples and self-service.

22/09/2025: The gluten-free croissant was inedible, a real attack on my person: so dry it wouldn't even go down, and the chocolate seemed to be put on like spit because there wasn't enough of it. At this point, the stomach ache was better.

21/08/2025: I bought two croissants, honestly how could I have bought them like that, thrown in the garbage as soon as I got home, croissants raw inside, leaving aside that they are no longer prepared by the hands of pastry chefs, but they were clearly the frozen ones ready to be baked, I asked for 1 black and white and one white chocolate, I understand that the prices of the products have increased etc, everywhere but filling them with the Nutkao from Md is the height of it, no Nutella or good white chocolate, the flavor was exactly that of Nutkao, I remember those beautiful enormous croissants that you took a bite and found yourself covered in chocolate that leaked everywhere, what can I say, totally disappointed....he will never see me again...!!!!
