15/03/2026: Make your own Nutella sandwich at home, you'll be much more satisfied. I had to go elsewhere after being left with a bitter taste in my mouth. I wanted something sweet but I was poisoned. The only star goes to the guy who bags the croissants, he uses a karate kid-like technique.
23/02/2026: We paid for three croissants, only two were placed in the bag, and the third was missing. We tried calling back to report the mistake, but no answer. We won't be returning, terrible service.

We ended up there because it was the bar our B&B was adjacent to.
Scandalous. Rude people and terrible food. I don't understand how it's still open. The next day we decided to pay for breakfast ourselves, but at another location... all said and done.

Even though it was included free of charge in the B&B package we booked, we chose to return the cards without a refund. ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

The waiter was good, but from the reviews section, the cashier is a real problem and he's going to ruin this business.

VERY UNPLEASANT CASHIER
30/09/2025: I just went to Ambrosino on Via Scarlatti Vomero for a plate of pasta with potatoes and provola. I wish I'd never had it before! The provola was nonexistent; they forgot to put it in. The pasta had the consistency of yesterday's pasta that they'd reheated in the microwave. So they served me a dry plate of pasta without the proper blend of potatoes and provola, dry to the point of being inedible and with a strange, stale taste.
Furthermore, when I mentioned this to the cashier at checkout (a whopping €11.00 for such a piece of junk), she didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience and told me to pay quickly and leave (which was enough to make her face swollen).
So I strongly advise against eating at AMBROSINO ON VIA SCARLATTI to avoid experiencing similar, unfortunate situations.

12/10/2025: If you're celiac, don't even try it. We only had a complimentary Coke and fries. It's worth noting that the Coke cost us 10 euros. The area is touristy, and you pay for sitting there.

02/03/2026: Very bad. They don't give you time to look at the menu properly, the desserts are weak and expensive, and the caffè latte was cold. And they asked for a tip, which is not normal in Italy. Avoid it.
21/02/2026: Aside from the price of the foamed coffee, which is increased by 50 cents, which is definitely not Neapolitan style. I believe that given the history of Naples, places like this—and there are more and more of them around—are starting to become a bit too lucrative. In addition to the poor quality food, the desserts you get will have been made at least a day ago. I'm sorry, but I absolutely don't recommend it for those looking for tradition in taste and, above all, in hospitality, apart from the first 2 minutes to convince you to sit down.
