20/01/2024: Sosta pranzo dopo i nostri giri natura+cultura in Abruzzo, punto di partenza, la piana del Fucino. Dopo i boschi, il borgo di Silone. Qui, in piazza Mazzarino,- guarda caso il grande ministro alla corte dei re di Francia nel secondo Seicento, è nato tra queste pietre in parte abbattute dalle tante sciagure naturali, ma si è salvato, rifugiandosi altrove-, più fortunato del tormentato sensibile umano scrittore I. Silone, ecco il bar ristoro Il Grappolo offre taglieri genuini abbondanti ricchi di affettati locali e formaggi stagionati. Fette spesse e saporite. Montepulciano in calice robusto. La signora Adele è proprio simpatica.

14/12/2023: Ecco un locale da preservare. Già non è che ci sia grande scelta nel paese, ma in questa enoteca trovi davvero l'atmosfera giusta, una cantina ben fornita e prelibatezze gastronomiche del territorio e non. Perfetto per un aperitivo o apericena, lo abbiamo provato anche a pranzo con primo piatto del giorno e tagliere. Tutto perfetto ed è sempre così. Adele è una adorabile padrona di casa e rende ancora più speciale il suo locale.

05/04/2024: For those who love craft beer, this is the right place, beer produced by them sold on tap or in bottles, low prices and many qualities of beer. They also do tasting before ordering. The only comment I feel like making, given that they don't do food in this place, is that they could offer at least some platters of cold cuts and cheeses; let's say that they offer the possibility of bringing food from outside, such as pizza or sandwiches, but it would be more profitable for them as it is convenient for customers to be able to get something to eat, not too demanding, on the spot!

08/03/2024: Well-kept place located in a not very busy area, 5 minutes by car from the amiternum. The food is good but average, nothing special. Medium-long waiting times The problem with the place is the dining room staff who in my opinion are not the best. They all seem confused and agitated (almost complete beginners), above all they don't know how to deal with younger customers. They don't understand the timing of the service and interrupt the customer during dinner (in my case I had the opportunity to celebrate a birthday and we were interrupted during an emotional moment such as reading the ticket). To conclude, it is fine for a normal dinner but not for an important dinner such as a birthday, anniversary, etc. Obviously each review is the result of a personal experience and I therefore feel like saying that I would not recommend this place.

21/02/2024: Very elegant, yet informal place. The pizza, not the Neapolitan type, is very shallow, but crunchy and very light. If you like truffles, don't miss the red one with buffalo mozzarella and truffle or the white one with potatoes and truffle. Impeccable service. The dark-haired waitress is friendly and empathetic, the other kind. Very good fried foods. The desserts didn't seem to be of the same level. Prices are above average. Excellent choice of wines. Less so for beers.

18/08/2023: We are welcomed by the owner and the staff with great courtesy and helpfulness. The lady suggests a solution for a gluten free dinner for one of the guests. The food turns out to be very good. The meat, fantastic, accompanied by flakes of truffle (not sauce...). The dinner continues into an evening of music and dancing for the guests, where the 80s are combined with the latest hits, entertaining young people and adults. Beautiful atmosphere.

18/08/2023: We ended up there by pure chance, we ate excellently and then found ourselves in the middle of a super galactic party with a supersonic DJ. Intergenerational fun. The owner is a splendid queen!
