11/06/2025: Bel posto, Antipasto molto abbondante, e ravioli di ricotta, tutto ottimo, cibo di qualità. e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. L'unica nota negativa ( se così si puo dire) abbiamo dovuto aspettare un pò. Ma in complesso mi sono trovato bene , ci tornerei

Primi piatti di buona qualità ma scarsi
16/07/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno dei vent’anni del mio ragazzo ed è stata un’ottima scelta.
Piatti tipici e particolari molto buoni.
Abbiamo apprezzato sia il tagliere di salumi veramente delizioso e anche il fatto che la pasta fosse fatta a mano.
Speriamo di tornarci.

03/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience in every way. Plain croissants cost €1.80, table service costs extra: truly out of line prices, especially for Rocca di Mezzo.
Any other bar offers the same quality at half the price. The place seems to thrive on its former glory, but the quality and customer service are noticeably declining. A real shame, because with a little more attention and more honest prices, it could be a benchmark.
30/08/2025: This gelateria was our home for the entire week we stayed in Rocca di Mezzo. The gelato is very good and very reasonably priced. €2.50 for a cone with two flavors and whipped cream.
I recommend it!

23/11/2025: The experience at 'Bar Gelo' was, indeed, freezing in every sense. The name, unfortunately, was in keeping with the temperature inside: the place was very cold, with a heater present but turned off.
After waiting at the counter for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged, I had to approach the cashier to order a coffee and a hot chocolate with cream and ask to be seated...
We were told vaguely to sit if we could find a seat.
So we sat at a table that was still dirty.
The wait to order was unacceptable and unfair. Unlike the larger tables (of 8 and 6) that arrived after us, who were given menus immediately, we were given nothing. After the waitress took their orders, completely ignoring us, we had to wait a good half hour to order our two drinks.
After we ordered, the items left on the table were only cleared away, but the table itself was not cleaned or disinfected with a cloth.
The drinks arrived after another twenty minutes, seriously threatening to make us miss our train.
To top off the negative experience, we were surprised by the bill: the hot chocolate was €6.00 and the coffee €2.00, while the menu on the wall listed the hot chocolate (with cream) at €5.00 and the coffee at €1.
In short: a cold atmosphere, dirty tables, extremely slow service, and unclear pricing practices. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the place.

07/01/2025: Un ambiente caldo ed accogliente. Ci dà il benvenuto un invitante profumino di stufato e il gentile sorriso della cameriera.
Un antipasto di prodotti fatti in casa e salumi e formaggi del posto molto saporiti.
Due secondi di tutto rispetto cucinati come farebbe la nonna. Brasato di cinghiale gustosissimo e tenero per non parlare della pecora che si scioglieva in bocca.
Torta ricotta e pere con ricotta freschissima e pere croccanti al punto giusto.
Conto molto molto onesto. Torneremo in estate
26/12/2024: Ci siamo seduti a tavola alle 14.10 (prenotato per le 14), dopo circa 45 minuti è arrivato l'antipasto, alle 15.45 abbiamo chiesto il conto visto che, tranquillamente, servivano altri tavoli arrivati molto dopo di noi (amici della zia? Bah) che avevano ordinato le stesse nostre cose!!!!
Disorganizzati.....peccato, non ci torneremo!!!

10/11/2024: Appena usciti da questo bar ci siamo sentiti derubati! Due pezzettini di torta alle mele di qualche giorno fa ...un cappuccino e un the caldo nulla di che...a saint moritz avremmo pagato meno....solo il cappuccino costa 3 euro!!! Siamo a Pescasseroli cara signora !che almeno avrebbe potuto regalare almeno un sorriso e invece manco quello!

30/12/2024: Bar bello con una buona scelta di distillati, vino e tisane. Da migliorare un po' l'ambiente, caotico ma forse influenzato dal fatto che era la settimana di capodanno.

07/05/2025: Un tempo locali come questo, veri e propri bric-a-brac, suscitavano curiosità e apprezzamento per la novità. Oggi risultano stucchevoli, ma soprattutto danno l’impressione di trascuratezza e poca pulizia.
Anche il servizio va un po’ furbescamente in questa direzione, manca un menù e si viene spinti verso scelte predefinite. In sostanza abbiamo mangiato quello che i proprietari hanno voluto. Buone le zuppe, anche se presentate in modo un po’ confuso e disordinato. L’impressione che rimane è quella di essere stati un po’ fregati… il conto è molto più alto della media del territorio ma francamente non giustificato. Il locale ha certamente conosciuto tempi migliori.
11/04/2025: Posso solo consigliare di mangiare qua. Camerieri in gamba e il mangiare e proprio buono. Io posso consigliare specialmente la pasta e fagioli fatta proprio bene 🔝
