22/07/2025: L'Elisir del Poeta is a special place, as are Andrea in the dining room, who explains each dish in detail and with great passion, and Barbara in the kitchen, a truly refined chef. The dishes are excellent and exude a deep love for the local area. You feel welcomed right at home, with an old-fashioned kindness. A very small restaurant (seats 12), very quiet and relaxing. What more could you ask for?

21/07/2025: I had lunch with friends at Osteria della Posta, and we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was welcoming and familiar. The staff were young, highly professional and equally kind. We ordered two plates of gnocchi with lamb, both delicious and flavorful; the maltagliati with fresh tomatoes, arugula, and shaved parmesan cheese, which were very delicate; and the grilled lamb, which was cooked to perfection and had a truly flavorful meat. That said, I can only recommend this place and will definitely return; I'm a foodie and an expert in the kitchen.

16/07/2025: We stayed here for three nights, half board. The quadruple room was huge, more like an apartment than a room. The dinner was wonderful, plentiful and made with quality ingredients. Last but not least, the kindness. We'll be back!!

05/08/2025: We ate wonderfully; all the courses were exquisite and worthy of Abruzzo cuisine! The meatballs were delicious, but I repeat, everything was delicious and perfectly prepared, in addition to the quality of the food. The staff was very kind and attentive to their customers.

07/07/2025: We had a little dinner in this very nice place and we took a cutting board with some very good cheeses and really special cold cuts, too bad there were really too few. The food was pleasant but it didn't excite me as I would have expected from the reviews, a first course for €18 must be delicious, not acceptable. Amazing innkeeper, too bad I can't say the same about the rest of the team.

03/06/2025: A wonderful little restaurant that has blossomed in the middle of the construction jungle. We immediately felt very welcome. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone, and the wine selection is also very select and suitable for every budget. And the desserts are absolutely amazing! Awesome.

01/05/2025: Everything perfect. We arrived at peak time without a reservation and were greeted without difficulty. Menu that satisfies any palate and maximum availability to respond to the guest's needs. Excellent food and very well presented. The same is true for desserts and presented in an artistic way. Correct price. We will be back.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati in occasione della laurea di nostra figlia , non conoscevamo il posto in quanto non siamo abruzzesi , ma è il pranzo ha superato tutte le nostre aspettative , ottimi piatti e materia prima di qualità. Servizio impeccabile , personale e titolare gentilissimi, spiegazione dei piatti , in poche parole ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati . Se torneremo a L 'Aquila sapremo dove andare mangiare.

19/07/2025: A stunning, historic establishment making stunning food. We were absolutely blown away by the dishes we ordered and the friendly, warm and knowledgeable service we received. Massimiliana was amazing and recommended a great wine to go with our meal. She also showed us around to the wine cellar after. Our only regret is not showing up hungrier and ordering more!!! Will surely return the next time we are in L'Aquila.

01/08/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera io e il mio fidanzato a cena in questo posto ispirati dalle recensioni… che dire.. CIBO FANTASTICO, arrosticini di un altro livello per non parlare delle bruschette di tantissimi gusti differenti. Personale gentilissimo, zero attesa per il cibo. Un ringraziamento particolare al signor Vittorio che con passione ci ha illustrato la vera qualità della carne abruzzese. Andateci assolutamente se venite all’Aquila ♥️👍🏻

12/07/2025: Excellent dinner. We had an appetizer, two main courses, two side dishes, water, and wine. Good food, fair price, although €3 cover charge seems excessive.

14/07/2025: Passano gli anni, ma Giocondo è sempre una garanzia! Ambiente informale, locale piccolo ma molto piacevole, piatti squisiti, preparati con cura e con amore. Vengo da oltre 15 anni a mangiare in questo piccolo gioiello nel cuore di Rivisondoli, e ogni volta esco soddisfatto! Grazie per la passione che ci mettete nel proporre sempre il massimo della qualità.

Ambienti molto lineari e ben organizzati , dove il Personale di Sala 🤵🏾 si muove molto velocemente e secondo i crismi del Galateo ! I Gestori al riguardo sono molto esigenti ed alche con la Clientela ( anche quella conosciuta ) di mostrano prodighi di “ consigli culinari “ finalizzati a gustare al meglio i Piatti del giorno …. Noi abbiamo preso la 🐑 Coratella di agnello 🐑 perché - per chi piace - è un bocconcino niente male ! Per dolce 🍰 poi …. , abbiamo ordinato della “ Sbrisolona “ ricoperta con crema chantilly ! Cos’altro da aggiungere ? È una Location già conosciuta e dove ci fa sempre molto piacere ritornare ….

21/07/2025: If you're in the area, it's worth a visit. Arrosticini, potatoes, and a selection of cured meats and cheeses (made in-house) deserve 10 minutes of applause :), but the first courses are also delicious. Perfect service. Thank you!!

21/07/2025: Excellent! This is the most important reason to visit Rocca Pia, a charming and authentic village in itself. We were welcomed warmly, immediately engaged in a frank conversation, and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: They welcomed us very kindly without a reservation, and the waiter was very kind and friendly. Although we were completely satisfied with the food, since there were eight of us, each person's dish arrived quite a while apart, leaving some waiting and others who had already finished. This is never pleasant. 😩 Overall, the food was good and the staff were friendly. 🤞🏼

09/08/2025: A warm welcome to Abruzzo for us! The atmosphere is typical of an Irish pub (I love it). The smash burger was very good, and the vegan option with a soy burger (it tasted like unconventional meat) was really good. The fries were equally good, both the regular and the twisted ones! The staff was also very friendly.

We literally savoured mouth-watering platters, featuring a wide variety of products, all of which were of excellent quality, refined, and tasteful in their presentation. We found the cool air wonderful for this summer, a warm welcome for us and our furry friend, and spectacular prices, just like their craft beers! Professional, attentive staff who welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home! Coffee, pastries included, and the option to take away truly authentic, artisanal products! 30/06/2025: We took a cutting board and a beer, a lot of variety of cured meats, cheeses and local products. The place is very nice, with tables both in the square and in the cave.
