04/04/2026: Today I had lunch at this little restaurant and I must say it was truly a wonderful discovery. The food was delicious, and you could clearly taste the quality of the ingredients used: everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and meticulously cared for. An added bonus is definitely the owner, an extremely kind and welcoming person who conveys a true love for his work and for what he offers his customers. You can sense the passion behind every detail. His wife, on the other hand, is an excellent cook. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease and leave wanting to return. Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: A wonderful Sunday spent at this little restaurant in the village of Sessanio. We ate divinely, delicious, locally sourced vegetarian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All this was accompanied by the very kind Mr. Andrea, who expertly explained the origins and ingredients of each dish, expertly prepared by his wife, Barbara. An experience to be repeated, definitely recommended for anyone looking for a different culinary experience!

21/03/2026: Wonderful secluded but in-town quiet location, the rooms are very nice, very clean and spacious, they include a small but efficient kitchenette, the bathrooms are also very spacious and comfortable. Overall an excellent place to stay, they also have a great restaurant where you can enjoy the local delicacies.

23/02/2026: In the center of L'Aquila, just steps from Piazza Duomo and the main street, lies our favorite restaurant in the city. We've been frequenting Da Lincosta since 2019, and it has never disappointed us at every lunch or dinner, always noting an improvement in the quality of the dishes offered. They also recently renovated the restaurant, and in the summer, you can dine on their splendid terrace. The menu changes based on seasonal produce, but some dishes are always present, and having tasted practically all of them over the years, I can confirm what I said above. The wine list is excellent, featuring excellent wines from Abruzzo. The desserts deserve special mention: pastry chef Federico, the owners' son, creates sublime and balanced desserts. Also worth trying is the Sunday breakfast, which is offered in both sweet and savory options, always using homemade products. I recommend booking.

04/03/2026: A wonderful and pleasant surprise! Everything you expect when you eat out. A welcoming restaurant, excellent service, and food where the quality of the ingredients truly shines. Without overcomplicating things, they achieve a beautiful presentation, pleasing to both the palate and the eye. The combination of quantity and quality is perfect. We tried the charcuterie board and two very tender and juicy cuts of meat—I can't even take a picture because everything was so delicious I forgot to. This is a restaurant I'd put in every town in the world so I could return to it wherever I went. My congratulations to the owner and staff!

17/02/2026: I had dinner last night with friends and family. The welcome was very friendly, and the food was also good. However, when we finally got the bill, we had a few surprises with the prices, including extras like an appetizer for five people, which was charged for seven, and a bottle of wine that shouldn't have been included, or rather, offered, but was instead paid for. A very unique place.

12/03/2026: A unique and welcoming place... I love these places that have a story to tell. The service was impeccable, the waitress polite and professional. The food was excellent, all homemade and it showed! Cover charge, first course, side dish, and water €23. I hope to return.

The homemade pasta and sauces are excellent, as are the meats and side dishes. The ricotta dessert is top-notch. Prices are average; perhaps the portions could be a little larger, but it's definitely a place to return to!

06/03/2026: Everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and the cuisine was authentic and truly delicious! Generous portions and excellent prices! I highly recommend it. I stayed there for a few days and felt welcomed like family... I had considered dining at other restaurants as well, but in the end, given the wide selection on the menu, I dined at Massari every night!!! TOP TOP TOP... try it and believe it! Emanuele, the owner, is a guy with a big heart!

When in Sulmona, it's a must-visit: it's always a pleasure to return! The cuisine is refined and full of time-honored flavors and aromas; it's a shame it's closed for dinner. 03/01/2026: I don't what to say...Im American, and a Texan...a bit of a beef snob😜 ive traveled all over Europe and gave up trying hamburgers at places. I eat various meals at different price points but sometimes just have a need for a cheeseburger... but gave up trying in Europe in general. But ive come to Max's several times, the service is excellent and the food has always been very good, so I said I will go ahead and try a smash burger on the menu. Omg...sooooooo good!!!!!! You will not be disappointed 😉😘 best cheeseburger in Europe💯
