27/11/2025: Wonderful experience. I visited the restaurant for lunch with friends. An unusual vegetarian meal, with touches of plant-based ingredients that enhanced the dishes. Locally sourced products. Guided by the very kind Andrea, who explained the dishes and the ingredients used, we were treated to a tasting experience that truly immersed us in the local area. Highly recommended.

05/12/2025: A charming location with spacious, all-wood rooms, which lend a certain "mountain cabin" charm. The chairs are unfortunately spartan and uncomfortable. The food is excellent and plentiful, with a thoughtful selection of local products. The service is courteous and impeccable. The price is fair for the abundance.

14/12/2025: As soon as we manage to escape to Rivisondoli, we can't miss a stop at the Da Giocondo restaurant, an authentic corner of Abruzzo in the heart of Rivisondoli. It's a true gem for those seeking authentic and traditional flavors. The simple yet refined atmosphere immediately creates a family atmosphere, made even more pleasant by the kindness of the staff, always available and smiling. We had the pleasure of tasting some typical Abruzzo dishes that truly won us over. We had the opportunity to savor some traditional Abruzzo dishes, prepared with simple but genuine ingredients and cooked with evident passion. The mixed gnocchi, made with plain and chestnut flour, topped with a fragrant sauce of garlic, oil, chili pepper, and porcini mushrooms, were delicious: rustic, flavorful, and well-balanced. The polenta with broccoli and sausage, creamy and rich, took us back to the flavors of yesteryear, the ones that warm the heart on cold mountain days. The cazzarielli with beans couldn't be missed, a humble dish in its origins but rich in flavor and tradition, prepared exactly as it was once made, with simplicity and plenty of flavor. The mixed grilled cheeses served with honey are also excellent, a perfect combination of savory and sweet. Each dish reflects tradition and a love for local cuisine, with generous portions and quality ingredients. An experience we recommend to anyone who wants to savor the soul of Abruzzo in a simple yet sincere place, where every bite is a return to the origins.

09/12/2025: An experience to repeat. We hope to return for the Christmas holidays. Excellent service, a little slow, but with the restaurant full, it's only right that it was a little slow. The appetizers and especially the first courses were very good, but what really impressed us was the lamb ragù. We've never had anything so good. The second courses were very tender and delicious, and an extra star for the superb pork steak. The tarts they make are also very good. The price is in line with the quality and quantity we ordered.

04/12/2025: Spectacular Lord of the Rings-themed venue. The staff is super friendly, especially the owner's father, Vittorio, who is knowledgeable and welcoming. We highly recommend the arrosticini, which are top-notch. We'll definitely be back.

30/11/2025: The place is not very beautiful from an aesthetic point of view. As a local from L'Aquila, this is the first time I've entered this place, which I've heard a lot about, and I have to say that the 25 arrosticini weren't that great. The 5 breaded chicken pieces were good. The three mutton chops were lamb, unless the mutton was a dwarf and had a small rib cage when alive. The owner even taught me how to eat the dwarf mutton with my hands. What a joke. Anyway, the meat wasn't good and it wasn't cooked on the grill. What a joke. The 200-day-old hamburger wasn't good. The bread I had to ask for to eat it was either half dry or half reheated, I don't know. The French fries, beer, and Coke were good, I'd say. The water was excellent. I paid too much, almost 90 euros. I paid 5 covers for 4 plates, 4 glasses, 4 cutlery on the table. There were 5 of us, but with a 2-year-old child. I'd say there was little attention from some of the staff...too much money in the till...being taken for a ride I won't be back...

25/10/2025: We happened to be passing through and decided to have lunch at this delightful place. The staff were very helpful and friendly, with a true passion for their work. We ate divinely, with simple, traditional dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended!

26/11/2025: We had a very pleasant stay at this simple and welcoming bed & breakfast. The rooms are basic and clean, perfect for those looking for a quiet place to rest. The restaurant/pizzeria was a real surprise: the pizza is truly delicious, well-seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it's the perfect place for a relaxing weekend or a special dinner. Highly recommended!

22/11/2025: This excellent restaurant is located in the center of Sulmona. The quality of the ingredients is noteworthy, and the wine list is good. I didn't give it five stars because of the portion of pasta, which was truly minimal (so good it's a crime not to have eaten enough), and because of one of the two waiters who served us. A bit grumpy, while the other was helpful and friendly.

13/10/2025: After more than a year, I returned to this restaurant because the three or four previous visits had been good, including the atmosphere. Something must have changed: the portions were decidedly small, the quality had plummeted, and the prices were high for what you received. I was very disappointed and don't plan on returning, at least not anytime soon.

08/04/2025: Our favorite stop on Corso Ovidio for coffee or an aperitivo. Owner Marco is a gracious and friendly host, the coffee and snacks are excellent.
