21/10/2025: Without a doubt, the best restaurant in the Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo-Roccaraso area. Excellent food, impeccable service, and attentive, courteous, and fun staff. The price is reasonable for the quality. Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited. We'll be happy to return.

20/10/2025: A bad experience, starting with the wine... we ordered two glasses and were brought an open bottle and a closed one with a different flavor. We pointed this out to the owner, who looked annoyed and replied that she had opened it at noon. We then received an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, which was quite good... the worst was with the first courses: we ordered pappardelle with truffles and they arrived drowned in cream... incredible!!! They were inedible. My other first course was a large bucatini with pecorino cheese, completely flavorless and with tons of oil. At that point, we decided to ask for the bill and leave. It was a shame because the place was very nice... but now we understand why it's called AL GIOCONDO!!!

27/09/2025: My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner, hoping to enjoy a good seafood dish. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. As soon as we sat down, we asked for spaghetti with clams, but were immediately told they weren't available. So, we ordered a mixed appetizer (€30) and two chitarrine allo scoglio (chitarrine with seafood). The appetizer, in our opinion, wasn't particularly rich: among the hot dishes, even the classic sautéed mussels were missing, and, of course, there were no clams. For €30, we certainly expected something more adequate. The biggest disappointment was the first courses: rather than "allo scoglio" (seafood), they seemed to simply have mussels and calamari, tasteless and repetitive compared to the appetizer. My dish also had a couple of shrimp, while my husband's didn't have any. We reported this to the staff, specifying that we didn't like the dishes, and they gave us a €3.50 discount. It's certainly not a matter of discounting: we left craving a delicious fish dinner, and we came home disappointed. Unfortunately, we won't be returning, and we're having a hard time understanding the glowing reviews we read before coming. I forgot, we asked for chili pepper, and it arrived already consumed by others who must have handled it. I have more to say and document, but I'll stop here.

Ogni tanto scrivo per raccontare una delle tante piacevolissime esperienze in questo storico locale, sono quarant'anni che ho il piacere di frequentarlo e di seguirne le costanti evoluzioni, dal bar degli anni sessanta a pioniere della mescita di vini ad Enoteca ristorante. sempre con la stessa professionalità, cura del cliente e ricerca delle materie prime. Ultima esperienza il pranzo di Pasqua organizzato per nostre esigenze, una settimana dopo, davvero memorabile. Mazzarelle, cotolette di agnello e carciofo fritto per iniziare... timballino teramano e uno strepitoso agnello cacio e ove... tutto stupendo. servizio impeccabile, vini azzeccatissimi. Nessuna scoperta né novità, tutto perfetto come sempre, ad un prezzo onestissimo.

11/10/2025: An elegant restaurant with a quiet atmosphere and extremely knowledgeable staff, who make you feel at home. It was a dinner for two, but perhaps more of a journey through many flavors, some unexpected, all absolutely delightful! The raw fish was the star, but the first courses were also excellent. The price was reasonable for what we ate. Recommended!

04/10/2025: Coming from Bologna, we were recommended this place for a drink and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are very friendly, especially Silvia, who is super nice and helpful.

28/09/2025: Visaggio is always a guarantee. Good food, a welcoming atmosphere both inside and out, nice people, and a selection of excellent wines and tapas. I recommend the trio of toasted sandwiches and the pinsas.

28/09/2025: Ideal for a pleasant, convivial, and delicious evening, with excellent value. This venue is a must-visit in L'Aquila's nightlife district. It offers a wide and refined selection of beers to pair with platters of local cured meats and cheeses, or dishes like burgers and pinsa (typical Italian pasta). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are very competitive considering the excellent quality and central location.

But let me tell you the truth: you go there on a specific mission, and it's a very sweet mission. The BOMBS? They're not just bombs. They're stratospheric works of art, crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. A cream so good it almost moves you to tears. And the Maritozzi? They'll put any other maritozzo you've ever encountered to shame. Soft, generous with cream, simply perfect. But the experience at La Bresciana is like a little theater show, with a breathtaking finale: the coffee. Now that's "just for a standing ovation," as you say! Strong, full-bodied, the perfect ending to a mouth-watering dessert. It's the detail that makes you feel pampered until the last sip. And then there's him, the young man (or the team, but you noticed one guy in particular). That unique attention, that ever-ready smile, that feeling of "always being there to give you the good news," as you write. That genuine kindness and passion in serving makes a huge difference. It conveys the love for this historic place and its products. In short? The Bresciana is a must. ✅ Amazing desserts (Bombe and Maritozzi are tops) ✅ Final coffee deserves a standing ovation ✅ Historic and authentic atmosphere ✅ Warm, cheerful service that makes you feel at home. Rating? 10 out of 10, without hesitation. Go there, order a bomba (or two...), finte with a coffee, and let yourself be won over by the magic of a place that manages to be historic without losing an ounce of soul and deliciousness.

30/09/2025: We stopped in Teramo, and discovered it by chance. A genuine experience to try in a casual, no-frills setting: amazing first courses, homemade cuisine. We had spaghetti alla chitarra with meatballs, gnocchi alla boscaiola, fried cheese and cacio e ovo balls, and to finish, a sweet Teramo pizza. Generous portions and a very fair price. But what makes the experience unique is the friendliness of the staff. Recommended.

28/08/2025: I didn't expect them to make their own croissants. They're really delicious, with a variety of fillings, including almond ones. The cappuccino is also excellent. The location is in a busy area, so it's easy to find and stop.

05/10/2025: Last lunch of the holidays, but the first for quality! High-quality ingredients, attentive, punctual, and courteous service, all enjoyed on time. Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent first courses, especially the lamb sauce, melt-in-your-mouth braised beef in Montepulciano, and some of the best gratinated vegetables I've ever eaten. The desserts were excellent, both the sbrisolona with warm cream and the ricotta and dark chocolate cake. Truly a top-notch restaurant, congratulations.

05/08/2025: Fast and helpful staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Both the sweet and savory dishes are good and highly recommended. The only small downside is the parking lot entrance and exit. I recommend the owners make the seating more comfortable (for example, with a different type of chair...).

14/10/2025: Discovered by chance during a stopover on the way from Trento to Puglia, it was a delightful discovery: excellent food, a varied and appetizing menu, a beautiful, clean atmosphere, and above all, impeccable management. Everyone was incredibly kind, making us feel "at home" in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

12/09/2025: A welcoming restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent seafood cuisine, without the added extras of sauces and gravies, given the quality of the fish that dominates. We'll be back to try the brodetto and the pasta dishes.
