24/07/2025: It's called Angel's House... I assume they're referring to the famous fallen angel, of course. Have you seen his commemorative statue in Retiro Park, in Madrid? Go for it. It's really cool. This place, however, isn't cool at all. First, the service. The lady who served us was fed up with serving the customer. And, hey, I get it. It can't be easy. In fact, it must be pretty hard serving endless hordes of tourists for long hours. But, my dear... pretend a little! Don't let it show so much. We're not asking for a paragon of friendliness. It's enough for us not to notice the disgust. Then, the ice cream. If you like ice cream in liter tubs at prices that would destroy human food chains like Carrefour, you'll love it. If you like ice cream, specifically Italian-style... Well, no. I can't say much about coffee or sweets because I haven't tried it and, obviously, I never will.

27/07/2025: Last night after dinner, I went to this place for the first time with my friends. I had a great time. We sat on the sofas, which were free, and enjoyed the location. The girl who served us was very kind and helpful. I ordered a cocktail called "Viola," which was really good, and I accompanied it with cream-filled zeppole, which were also very good. We didn't particularly like the macarons, but that didn't ruin our post-dinner experience.

27/07/2025: Gentlemen....you have to take into account that, even if you sit down and don't consume anything...they make you pay for the "cover charge"... 1 euro per person...after all, someone has to pay for the roof, right?...in fact it was packed with people...ridiculous

14/07/2025: Locale veramente bello e molto frequantato, tanto che è necessario prenotare e rispettare un orario al quale lasciare libero il tavolo... Aperitivo con prezzi onesti e accompagnamento abbondante di stuzzichini. Nonostante sia appena fuori città e in una zona industriale, attira molti giovani!

Above all the owner is rude and very ill-mannered. I advise those who pay taxes and are tourists to AVOID THEM so as not to ruin their holidays

20/06/2025: good brioches, although in my opinion they are too stuffed and therefore nauseating. if you are looking for a place to have a good breakfast it is still ok, but if you are looking for friendly and welcoming staff... change places immediately. I think this bar is the place with the most unpleasant staff I have ever seen. All annoyed to do their job as if you had forced them. Really, unspeakable, abominable service. If you do not know how to behave politely with customers avoid doing this job.

26/05/2025: place full of rude people and cavemen who can't speak a word in Italian, rude staff, cocktails with discount alcohol (the ones they have on the shelves apparently aren't used... maybe they're just for display)... tourist village entertainers dressed up as DJs called by a certain "art director".... art director of what exactly??? 😂 how disgusting it takes courage...

14/03/2025: I read useless and obvious comments, fixed menu aside, which I also don't love, the Dogana Vegia turns out to be a unique place, a dive into the rural past and the history of the mountains, a museum! The owner Dario has a particular character, the service certainly isn't five star, but if you know how to take it it's also nice.. The cost of €70 may also be questionable, but not exaggerated and the place is worth it all. The food is excellent and plentiful. The venue has a unique and unparalleled charm with a romantic atmosphere. If you are not hungry and don't want or can't spend this amount, this is not the place for you.

12/03/2025: Bellissimo locale, romantico, caldo, accogliente, unico. Un museo della montagna. Purtroppo menu fisso. Cucina buona, prezzi elevati: Il titolare un personaggio da saper prendere. Locale non per tutti.

02/08/2025: The owner should wear a balaclava, because it's like getting robbed. The sign outside the restaurant and the menu on the counter clearly state that an espresso costs €1.20, while table service costs €2.80. This isn't written anywhere, neither on the table when you sit down nor on the menu. It doesn't state that there's a service charge for table service (which is awful, by the way). Avoid this place like the plague. A word of advice to the owner: look for Italian waiters who can speak multiple languages, not foreign waiters who barely understand Italian.

25/04/2025: We went for a drink after a long trip. It wasn't what we expected. Especially for the attention. A staff unwilling to understand foreigners, unfriendly and as if it were difficult to serve us. I ordered a very hot latte macchiato and they served it lukewarm, I had to ask for it to be heated and they put it in the microwave... Very little good will.

We tried the coffee affogato and it was simply delicious—creamy gelato with a strong espresso, served with a touch of elegance, and a small cone that adds a charming touch. 19/08/2025: A very charming café in the center of Portogruaro, with newspapers available for reading. The coffee is neither excellent nor bad. The pastries are a bit pricey for what you get, which didn't impress me.
