27/04/2025: I only give one star for Angela. I used to come as a child to eat pasta. I returned after years to bring my son. I come here every now and then when I come back from abroad just for Angela. The owners are rude, grumpy, rude, even towards their employee. The service is deplorable, they make you uncomfortable, the wait is eternal. It's a shame for one of the few historic pastry shops left on TV.

30/08/2025: The food is good. A beautiful location right on the lake. Unfortunately, the friendliness and speed of the service aren't always great.

27/08/2025: The food was okay, but the service was terrible: no friendliness, no smiles, nothing. The restaurant owner isn't even recognizable as such in his casual, sweatpants-wearing look. There's still a lot of room for improvement.

06/04/2025: Soggiornare al rifugio è una esperienza molto piacevole. Stanze accoglienti e calde. Bellissima terrazza panoramica riservata per la merenda del pomeriggio. Tramonto spettacolare. Cena ottima.

17/08/2025: My girlfriend and I ordered two piadinas for lunch around 12:30/1pm. We had to wait almost an hour to eat two empty piadinas with quality products that weren't exactly poor. We obviously ate them the next day, paying too much for a piadina that was better, made at home. As soon as we entered, we obviously said hello out of politeness and they didn't even give us a response. We absolutely wouldn't go there again...

30/07/2025: The pizza is just a beer snack and the staff is not very friendly.

10/09/2025: Neither good nor bad, despite its strategic location it seems like an anonymous bar, and the bill, as expected, is decidedly steep.

10/09/2025: Terrible and not recommended ten thousand times or more....a mojito made only with water that is truly undrinkable.

14/08/2025: Very poor and unfriendly service. We had to wait a long time to get our menu, and once we did, it took 20 minutes before we could order. We ended up leaving. The waitress was very grumpy.

10/08/2025: Terrible experience. We sat down at this bar in the center of Monopoli, took a seat, and placed our order without anyone warning us of any special restrictions. After a while, the staff returned, saying they would only serve aperitifs, thus forcing us to order something we didn't want. This was inappropriate and unprofessional behavior: it should have been stated immediately, both when we sat down and when we placed our order. Absolutely not recommended.

10/08/2025: A great bar, very friendly staff, the beer is good. The atmosphere is friendly with great background music!!

18/08/2025: There must be a reason why this place has been open for over fifty years, passed down from one generation to the next. Good and tasty, excellent value for money. I recommend it.

15/08/2025: A pathetic place that dares to call itself a “restaurant,” run by an equally pathetic owner. Charging €3 per person is both shameful and abusive for such a disgrace: noise, plastic chairs, endless waiting times, and rude staff. The way you respond to negative reviews shows your complete lack of education and professionalism. You will soon learn the true power of reviews, and that moment will be far from pleasant for you. You had the nerve to tell a customer they “don’t know how to eat at a restaurant,” yet you have no clue what a real restaurant actually is. Your behavior makes it clear that your place is anywhere but in the hospitality business.

15/08/2025: We've been here many times in the past years for the excellent quality of the food, but tonight's experience was disappointing. Perhaps it was a bad night. First of all, the waiter was quite rude: every time we made a simple request (like more water), he seemed very annoyed. The wait times and overall attentiveness were poor. Then, when it came time to pay, a huge argument broke out between a customer and the owner. Soon after, the staff members also started arguing. Meanwhile, a long line of customers waiting to pay had to witness the whole scene. I waited 20 minutes at the register to pay the bill! It's a shame, because it was a restaurant we loved. The food is good, but the service, unfortunately, is poor.

12/08/2025: We had made a reservation for lunch, but when we got there, the restaurant was closed. Other customers were waiting with us, and they weren't answering their phones.
