24/07/2025: I visited both the islands of San Domino and San Nicola. Both places are spectacular, both from a naturalistic and scenic perspective, with cliffs plunging into the azure sea and vast green spaces where the maritime pine forest reigns supreme. The intensely blue sea and clear water. Sunsets that bewitch the view. The island of San Nicola is truly beautiful, with the abbey dominating the entire island. The only major flaws found on the entire archipelago, which are not due to nature but to man, are the extremely high prices and the kindness of the local residents and business owners, who treat tourists with great condescension and like chickens to be plucked.

30/06/2025: I was in the Tremiti Islands 35 years ago and the island of San Domino was beautiful and wild. Apart from the sea and the enchanting views, the rest is all concrete built for commercial purposes only. It was a deep disappointment... I will not return.

02/08/2025: CHIARA P (0 reviews) I've never experienced such a lack of kindness, intelligence, and common sense in my life. Next to this bar, in the central square of this beautiful village, is a farm shop, which also has a couple of tables outside. My relatives and I sat there to enjoy some focaccia. Due to obvious legal restrictions, the shop doesn't have a dedicated restroom for customers. My father and mother (who takes diuretics due to a disability) therefore chose to buy water at Caffè Aries (where we would have happily ordered gelato and coffee a little later) so they could use the restroom. Well, they weren't allowed to. Their fault? Choosing another place for their meal. Essentially, it was an act of revenge against a competitor. Let's be clear: no one has a legal obligation to offer consumers access to their bar. But there is, always, everywhere, an unwritten obligation of civility. A level of humanity, because we are human, below which we should never descend. Today, the managers of this bar exhibited behavior of rare baseness.

26/07/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch with the family and found other options besides pizza. I had a lovely chicken salad, fresh and very good, and my parents had pizza in various ways, and everyone was really satisfied! Great price for the quality.

13/04/2025: An evening with a friend, I decided to have a glass of red (Barbera d'asti) and I found the price to be in line with the places around (€7 a glass, it was the cheapest wine). When the glass arrived I thought it was a joke because there must have been maybe two sips of wine in that glass. Terrible service, the waitresses came by every so often to see if they could remove the glasses from the table and "disturbed" the evening. Unprofessional

17/07/2025: I don't understand the bad reviews. The pizzas were great and very quickly delivered. Staff was nice and efficient. The atmosphere and location were very nice, and the food was quite cheap given how close this place is to the old town centre

13/07/2025: Was expecting everything to be super expensive given how central you are, sitting outside in the middle of the promenade, but it isn’t. That is the biggest plus. Of all the food we had, the pizza’s were half decent as was the wine. The antipasti were atrocious and it looked like it was all pre sliced. The arancini were cold in the centre. It was great sitting there, soaking up the atmosphere. All very lively. It was a good experience.

29/07/2025: I'll start by saying that I feel a little uncomfortable expressing my opinion on this business. We called and booked for 10 pm and they said it was fine! When we got there, they rushed us and made us anxious because the kitchen closed at 10:30 pm. The service left a lot to be desired; it was obvious they wanted to close quickly. I also work in the restaurant business now; if the kitchen closes at 10:30 pm, either you don't take a reservation or you warn them of the possible inconveniences I might encounter. Dirty cutlery, and the waiter was a little distracted from politeness (when customers sit down, you say: GOOD EVENING!!! You welcome them, kindly). We ordered: rice with vegetables, pasta with chicory and peppers (the latter are still on the plant in the garden and never made it into the pasta... they must have been lost), spicy crunchy chickpeas, lupini beans, capers and pepper, and a single dish. No flavor!!! Not bland, sterile! I highly recommend reviewing the dishes and also the chef (and don't tell me he calls himself CHEF)

29/07/2025: We stopped for a coffee and were urged to sit down. They charge €2.50 per cover, even if you're going for coffee and there's no cover. The result: 6 coffees for €28. 😵 And if you like tea, they only serve Yogi Tea here, which is pretty bad.
