17/07/2025: Edit after reply: There's no mistake. Please reread the review carefully. I'm referring specifically to this pastry shop. In fact, I left the review here. I repeat, I've tried the pastries on other occasions and they're not bad, but they don't offset your haughty and dismissive attitude toward customers. You would have looked better if you apologized for the staff's inattention (or rudeness, since you're so obsessed with terms). Reading carefully and making sure you don't appear unfriendly, even through a screen, would take away some of your arrogance. Best regards. _________________________________ I had already visited this café a few years ago, with a friend. We sat in a small room that seems to be closed at the moment. The pastries and coffee were not bad, but the prices were a bit high. This time, my friend and I preferred to go to another café. When we walked in, no one responded to our greeting. The interior layout was a bit chaotic; we went to the counter to decide what to order. We realize we need a receipt before ordering, so we try to do it on the machine, which isn't very clear and has no one to ask. So we forget it and go to the register to get a receipt as usual, even though we're not sure what to get because we haven't been able to speak to anyone yet, despite the few customers sitting at tables. The lady at the register, turning her back on us for a good five minutes, ignores our good morning to continue talking to a colleague. We then decide to go to another bar, and she decides to just consider us while we leave. Too late; you should reconsider your customer service.

15/07/2025: What an amazing find. Fabulous deserts and gelato, espresso is perfection as is the entire place. Friendly staff, clean and a great ambience. Love it

30/06/2025: Honestly the best negroni’s that we have ever tasted in the world. By now, we’ve -sadly- been to about 60 bars in Italy and we can assure everyone that Migi makes by far the most superior negroni’s. Migi if you read this, grazie mille and we are sad that we can’t be back right away. Alla prossima

28/07/2025: Folks, without making too much of a fuss: if you trusted me, forget it; if you don't, but you're careful and demanding enough for the importance and cost of an event like a wedding or something else, then you'll see for yourself. I was invited to a wedding: people were left without a meal; my partner may have been a coincidence, she had a bad night, but I can't comment here; the service provided by the head waiter: poor; the wedding cake was left without at some tables, and we had to claim it; furthermore, and to conclude, something I find indecent: confusing it with another sporting event (and I absolutely have no animosity towards the attendees). Because all of this—I don't know how much, but it certainly had a cost, and what a cost—and furthermore, not just one, but all these poor services, you can't get reviews like mine, or even some previous ones. If I were ever to organize an event under these conditions, I wouldn't do it here.

26/07/2025: I don't eat sauce, cherry tomatoes and for reasons I don't eat meat, but despite everything, we've been going for years, because there was a first course with pesto that I really liked, a first course that I've always asked for, but every time I ask, they give me different answers, once they told me it was a summer dish, (but I saw that they served it at a table next to ours, where they were making a quote, and I don't think that serving it to me too would have caused any problems,) once they replied that they only did it on Sundays, you can't have a menu of first courses with only sauce and only one white first course, with the presence of cheeses

17/07/2025: Pizza was good, but the pasta dish smelled bad and was disgusting. But the place itself was beautiful and vibey

12/07/2025: We had a great time. The staff is very helpful and super friendly. The pizza is very good, and there's a wide selection on the menu. The meatballs, with various fillings, are a must-try. All served on a large terrace where you can enjoy the cool summer air.

02/07/2025: Neighborhood live music spot. We saw an AC/DC cover band one weekend and a Blues Brothers cover the next. Welcoming place, reasonable drink prices.

30/07/2025: My girlfriend and I came a day before our dinner unfortunately they were about to close, but a young gentleman @Jacopo took my name without put it in theirs system for a reservation next day at 8 pm, and he did remember so we did got our reservation next day, and it was a 🔥 experience i love it, the atmosphere its magic, i know everyone wants a lake view,but this restaurant its a great place to have a couples night ♥️ love it!!!🍷😍

29/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the courtyard of an old townhouse and is very nicely decorated. It serves mostly meat, which we actually like. We opted for the meat with bones for two people. Two major drawbacks: we waited 1.5 hours for it; if we'd been told, we would have chosen something else. When the platter arrived, it came with 10 slices of potatoes and three small spoonfuls of vegetables as a side dish for two people.

16/06/2025: My wife and I stayed at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. The experience was fabulous, the staff from the moment we arrived was helpful, very kind and welcoming. I will mention some of the people we interacted with the most: Fabiola who welcomed us at the beginning, Cristina, Giada and Juan at the restaurant, always available, professional and friendly. Dinner was always a moment of great culinary experience, excellent dishes always well presented by the guys, with local ingredients and accompanied by quality wines. A real experience to try. The room, a splendid 48 square meter suite, the cleanliness, the Spa, the location of this structure, in short, everything together made our stay truly special, an experience to repeat! A big hello to everyone!!

13/06/2025: Unfortunately, our visit to the in-house gourmet restaurant did not meet our expectations. When ordering, we were informed that we were not allowed to freely choose the main course from the menu – in particular, the venison dish we had been looking forward to was not available. This restriction came as a surprise and seemed rather inflexible. Our subsequent choice from the à la carte menu was also served lukewarm, which significantly diminished the enjoyment. After dessert, we were not asked for any further requests, nor was the wine refilled – in a restaurant of this caliber, we would have expected more attention. Particularly disappointing, however, was the lack of response to our letter of complaint, which we wrote immediately afterward. Such a lack of customer service unfortunately does not leave a good impression. Despite the otherwise positive aspects of our stay, the disappointing restaurant experience and the lack of complaint management raise the question of whether we will book again in the future. We hope that our feedback will be understood as constructive criticism.

03/07/2025: Ho dato 5 stelle per la pizza, ma.....Mi sono fermata per prendere una pizza (non è la prima volta) perché da napoletana doc e anche celiaca non è facile per me trovare una pizza veramente, ma veramente buona!!! Giusta altezza, cottura, condimento, perfetta, direi!!! E allora perché quel "ma"???? Per il prezzo, veramente esagerato per me!! Pagare una pizza da asporto, senza sevizio, senza sedersi al tavolo, senza bevande, 13 € mi sembra follia. "E aumentato tutto", dicono....ma gli stipendi e le pensioni, no!!!! Certo non è colpa del titolare , ma penso che si possa venire anche incontro alle persone! Anche perché Roccamorice è bellissima, ma non credo sia frequentata da milionari, o almeno io non lo sono. Quindi un pò un boccone amaro.....

07/03/2025: Even if we are talking about a (small) village bar, the place is welcoming, the staff is friendly and competent, the offer is varied and of quality. As a long-standing and regular customer, I might seem biased, but I recommend it... Interesting quality - price ratio, interesting environment for an aperitif and sports evening (football and rugby matches).

22/07/2025: In a word: Spectacular. Excellent cuisine. When I'm in Brindisi, I always go to La Calendula, a family-run restaurant. Chef Alessandro and his wife Teresa are wonderful people; every time I go, they make me feel at home. Excellent value for money. I recommend it.
