10/08/2024: THANKS!!! Dear Gamper family and also to all the waitresses (greetings especially to Michi) for the always great evenings with you. We stayed at the Kronenwirt at Easter 2024 and booked again at the end of September 2024. Really great apartments with services like a hotel with a very nice view over the Meran valley. According to my wife, the free Jura coffee machine is amazing. We ate at the Kronenwirt very often during all our stays. Simply very tasty food with incredibly nice hosts and the waitresses also live the “spirit” of friendliness and especially warmth. Me and my wife always feel completely at home here. Both Mr. and Mrs. Gamper are simply wonderful and very accommodating hosts and always do everything they can to make your return feel like coming home. I just took the trouble to look at all the Google reviews and I can't understand some of the negative ones. Of course it can take a while if all tables are occupied. You should also make a reservation in the evening. But why is it always full? The waitresses are always on the move quickly and always try everything to give the guest a very good feeling. I haven't experienced this in Germany for a long time. In any case, I'm on vacation and if it takes a little longer, that's not a problem because I have time. And that has never happened during my stays either. We definitely feel very comfortable here and look forward to coming back. 29/08/2024: Had trout blue. A dream, that's exactly how she has to be. The apricot dumplings are also highly recommended.

28/08/2024: Very good food. The children also really enjoyed it. And our children are the biggest critics. Great ambience and the service is very polite. We are already looking forward to our next meal at Krebsbach.

31/07/2024: The Hotel is the best deal for everyone. It offers a great amount of activities, such as Swimming in the indoorpool, going into the sauna, relaxing or Doing sports in the Home-gym. The staff is great and very Aware of the requieres from their guests. The room is very modern and stylish, looking from the balcony one can enjoy the Beautiful scenery of the Mountains Lavarella and La Crosce. Not to forget is the Amazing Food for breakfast and dinner.

29/07/2024: Third time here, first time in summer time. Restaurant in hotel is very good with the view to the mountains. Dinner in restaurant is very good and feels like dining in fine dining restaurant 😌. Rooms very clean and with the view of the mountains, again 😏. Staff very nice and welcoming. Hopefully coming back in winter again.

22/08/2024: A superb hotel with an excellent welcome. Beautiful rooms with a magnificent view. The landscape around the hotel is just incredible. The meals are really excellent (breakfast and dinner) I highly recommend and would come back.

27/07/2024: Hier kann man es wirklich sehr gut aushalten man wird sehr nett umsorgt, der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich! Das Ambiente schön und gemütlich!Das Essen ist von hervorragender Qualität ,besonders die Fleischgerichte! Die Weinauswahl ist vielfältig und die Weine sehr gut! Wir können es sehr empfehlen. Es ist auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

18/08/2024: We went out to eat three times last week. Great, cozy beer garden, delicious food with a good price-performance ratio. I love the wood-fired pizzas that go outside the box. If you haven't made a reservation, you shouldn't show up until around 1:30 p.m. otherwise you may struggle to find space. I also didn't know Erdinger Hell, a delicious, drinkable Helles that saved my day after a Heineken ;) Service is outstanding, professional across the board and very friendly despite a lot of work. Thank you, we really enjoyed it. We'll definitely come back. That's how gastronomy works!

14/08/2024: Restaurant has a beautiful and authentic atmosphere with comfortable seating. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was really good.

14/08/2024: Typical local restaurant. Offer of first courses, second courses and pizza, with availability of request for dishes of the day. Slightly unbalanced value for money, some dishes too expensive. Courteous service.

19/08/2024: We went to the restaurant for dinner (and not to the hotel). Large place, fairly quick service and good variety of dishes. Prices certainly not popular and I felt little empathy for the customer.

12/08/2024: Excellent and crispy pizza, the sorbet Tris is also recommended. Courteous and very friendly staff.

26/08/2024: Eravamo già stati in passato in questo ristorante, pur non avendo un buon ricordo nella precedente esperienza, abbiamo deciso di dare a questo locale una seconda possibilità ma se la sono giocata davvero male. Abbiamo ordinato un risotto alle erbe (scottissimo, impresentabile!), delle penne alla pastora (la pasta era di infima qualità, sicuramente precotta, non degna neanche della mensa aziendale più scacioppata!) , un piattino di verdure a buffet, una bottiglia di acqua minerale (5€!!!) ed un caffè. Alla mia osservazione che il risotto fosse scotto, mi è stato risposto: " Molti lo vogliono così"... Il tutto per la modica cifra di 37,40€, totale che, se il livello fosse stato accettabile, sarebbe stato nella norma. Il primo tentativo è andato male, il secondo anche, tertium non datur!

24/08/2024: Everything was excellent and the staff were very kind. The restaurant is a very nice location and is very well equipped.

29/08/2024: The food was so delicious, but unfortunately also very expensive, which is why I only took a little something. There is also a bit of a view of Bolzano here, because otherwise you can't see much of the town below through the trees and buildings on the mountain. The service is very friendly.
