06/05/2025: We went to the Schloss Rametz restaurant for the first time two weeks ago based on the recommendation that we definitely try the tartare. In addition to the tartare, we chose two daily recommendations: on the one hand, there were homemade gnocchi goat cheese with pulpo and, as the main course, grilled tuna steak on a pea cream that was slightly spicy with wasabi. All dishes were excellently prepared and seasoned. The wine recommendation also completely convinced us! Passarina wine from the Marche! The friendly, very attentive service and the good advice together with the first-class preparation and quality of the food were a highlight of our stay in Meran! We were thrilled, can definitely recommend the Rametz and will definitely come back! Warm greetings from Germany!

27/04/2025: In the American diner Happm Pappm, only the South Tyrolean slang reminds us that we are not in the USA. The burgers are good and filling in size. Unfortunately this time the bun was very dry and there was only a little sauce. The potatoes weren't fresh either but the sweet potato fries were perfect!👌🏻 😅. It's a bit out of the way in Niederlana, but it's a wonderful walk through the apple orchards or along the Brandisweg and the 🚌bus also runs!

Mis amigos y yo comimos en este restaurante el año pasado en septiembre y lo disfrutamos mucho. Yo también vengo este año y tú también deberías venir. Disfrutemos todos juntos.

03/06/2025: Beautiful terrace, service okay, taste a bit boring - especially the dumpling duo, porcini mushrooms on carpaccio searched in vain, open wine too expensive, water price for spring water in the carafe also too expensive. A shame really. I'll be back next time. The guests with pizzas around me were very impressed.

10/05/2025: One of the few traditional businesses that still exist in the Isarco Valley. Great selection of dishes from traditional to Mediterranean and excellent pizza, all at reasonable prices in a wonderful ambience in the restaurant or in the beautiful beer garden.

28/03/2025: After many positive experiences of staying at the hotel, I can say with certainty that it has become my second home for summer and especially winter holidays. Impeccable services, very nice and clean rooms, wellness, comfortable ski room (with access to the Gardenaccia slopes) and really excellent food and always available staff. Compliments to Francesca, Manfred and all the staff!

17/02/2025: It's worth taking a detour to this gem. The 3* hotel pampers its guests to their complete satisfaction! My husband is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Baillage StGall. We can only praise the excellent cuisine! The price-performance ratio is excellent! Where can you get a room with breakfast and a 5-course menu at gourmet level for currently €88? The owners, the Gallia couple, work up to 18 hours a day with a smile on their faces. We'll definitely come back!!!

14/01/2025: What makes a hotel special today? In my opinion, it is the people who work there and the philosophy behind it. It is also about paying attention to nature and respecting the environment, e.g. the traditions in the region. It is also about letting the guests participate in it by introducing them carefully, without the need for rules. That is an art these days. This is crowned by a lavishly laid table, without waste and excess, but with the special composition of the dishes and the selection of ingredients. You will find all of this at the Gasthof Kohlern. Authenticity among the people who work there. Respectful interaction, lightness and relaxedness as a natural coexistence - guest and host. Exciting stories, integrated into nature. You don't want to leave there and yet it may be precisely the leaving that makes you look forward to the specialness of coming back. And every year there is something new to discover, selected with great care and love. Thank you for being there, dear Gasthof Kohlern team.

13/01/2025: The hotel to relax and recharge your batteries. Josef and his crew are really special. The last time we were there was 10 years ago. Now it worked again and we booked a room including half board over the Christmas period (December 23rd - December 26th, 2024). I summarize the hotel services as follows: 1. Hotel The house has a 125-year-old history. Josef spared no expense or effort to modernize everything. A living room with an adjoining open fireplace (wonderful), a restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains high above Bolzano, a top wellness department... The infinity pool and hot tub (open despite the cold and it was a show to be in there) A wine cellar, a seminar room (all very, very tastefully designed) 2. Massages A "must", the relaxing massage was a dream 3. Food & Service The absolutely highly professional kitchen surprised us every day with first-class dishes. We enjoyed every dish in the multi-stage episodes. The 4-6 courses were an explosion of enjoyment. It's really amazing what the kitchen does and the quality of the food that comes to the table. All, but absolutely all, of the service staff were professional, quick and absolutely friendly. Here I felt that the crew was behind Josef's concept. So it's really fun to be a guest 3rd room We had room number 6 on the 1st floor An ideal room for us with a balcony and the view over Bolzano was brilliant The cleaning was simply perfect... and we and our dog 🐶 "Oskar" felt really comfortable. Conclusion: The house was already great 10 years ago. Today Josef and his team have once again made a leap forward in terms of quality. I am personally pleased that there are still such first-class hotels with top-class cuisine and service. Celebrating Christmas with singing in the in-house chapel was something very special for us. We just say 'thank you' for this great time. This house made our Christmas 2024 perfect. We'll definitely be back💪

Hemos viajado por todo el mundo y calificaría este lugar en la parte superior. Elizabeth es una anfitriona maravillosa y ella va mucho más allá de la llamada del deber de cuidar de usted. Ella creó un itinerario personalizado de dos días para nosotros que era simplemente magnífico. We were greeted like good friends and felt welcome from the very first moment. Elisabeth and her fantastic team have the hospitality gene and live hospitality. You'll experience unique moments of well-being and culinary delights down to the smallest detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team!

05/04/2025: A full 5 stars from me. Where do I begin? From the very start, the staff warmly welcomed us in. Throughout the meal, they maintained utmost professionalism and hospitality. And the food at this restaurant is simply delicious—the starter of tuna tataki was paired wonderfully with the miso sauce, while the main courses of homemade tagliatelle and beef cheek were both splendid. The star of the show, however, was the asparagus risotto. It was hands-down *the* most fresh and succulent asparagus, paired with a rich cheese flavour to go with the perfectly cooked rice. This should be the restaurant’s signature dish! Hope to come back soon. Thank you for a delicious meal.
