06/02/2025: Efficient and quick service, we had the tasting of seafood crudités and two hot seafood appetizers. The plinths and lamb were all excellent and the presentation of the dish was well prepared. The desserts were good even if a little cloying, in particular the chocolate ingot.

14/02/2025: Clean, welcoming, intimate environment. Excellent service, truly impeccable waiters, always smiling, 5 stars are too few for them. Good seafood tasting, excellent braised octopus. Saffron risotto overall good, creamy, but the only sore point is the truffle, I would avoid adding it because it overpowers the taste of the entire dish. The delicacy of the shrimp was no longer perceptible. Juicy tuna, cooked well. Desserts a little expensive, nothing special for the prices (€8-10). The bill can be rounded up, sometimes the gesture of removing two euros and making the amount the same makes the customer more inclined to return.

06/02/2025: I love Compitese and have been thinking about trying this restaurant for a long time. We are a bit obsessed with pizza, so we chose a selection of seafood appetizers, excellent and beautiful, and two rather particular pizzas, one with stracciatella and raw prawns, lots of raw prawns, and the other was with Cantabrian anchovies, aubergines and buffalo mozzarella. The pizza dough is particular, not ultra flattened as is the case in Pontedera, where we live, nor high, it was somewhere in between, crunchy and soft, as we say ALIVE and not killed by presses and rolling pins, but above all the seasoning was exceptional, with the anchovies being really good in terms of flavor and consistency and the other with the raw prawns, nice and firm and tasty. Maybe it was missing a bit of colour, especially the aubergines with anchovies gave it too much grey, which then with the anchovies I would have added a couple of fillets of red peppers, but also for Instagram 🤪jokes aside, really excellent pizzas, overall we liked everything a lot, even the coffee had a cream which is now a rarity. No dessert, it's difficult for us to get to dessert, even if it doesn't look like it physically, I know. Prices seem regular to me, of course there are also very particular things, but the prices are fair. I hope to return soon.

14/01/2025: We have eaten here several times. The price also reflects the quality you get. The food tastes fantastic, the service is very attentive... at the end there is a grappa for free. The holidaymaker's lack of knowledge of Italian is made up for by the good to very good knowledge of German on the part of the waitress or the owner. It's absolutely worth coming here... but definitely make a reservation...

20/02/2025: Il locale ha orari sbagliati su tripadvisor inoltre segnalato il problema il ristoratore risponde "ma io che ci posso fare". Insomma per loro è normale erogare disservizi? Si renderanno conto che se uno cerca un ristorante alle 16 e si mettono orari sbagliati dovrà fare 10 telefonate prima di trovare un posto per mangiare?

24/01/2025: Caro per quello che offre. Porzioni da "assaggio" ma prezzi interi.... Tutto (almeno quello che abbiamo mangiato noi) di sapore "soft". Intendiamoci : in certi casi il poco sapore può essere un valore aggiunto ma i nostri palati sono più da piatti decisi.

23/12/2024: What can I say, I read such enthusiastic reviews that I think I'm writing for another bar. We just had two coffees, nice ones for sure, but the thing that stood out to me the most was the dirt. The lady even had dirty nails... it's true that what doesn't kill you makes you fat, but there is a limit to everything.

The presentation of each course is careful and attentive. Wide choice of wines. Prices in line with the gastronomic offer.

01/12/2024: Abbiamo fatto un fine settimana a Lucca e a cena ci siamo recati in questo locale . La scelta è stata ottima abbiamo mangiato pesce e tutto più che buono . Il personale gentile e professionale . Quando torneremo a Lucca sicuramente sarà un punto di riferimento per la cena .

Locale accogliente, vicino al centro di Lucca, con un servizio impeccabile attento ai minimi dettagli (siamo stati accolti con un piacevole benvenuto di frittelle e bollicine). Prodotti freschi ed ottimi, pane e focaccia fatti direttamente da loro, porzioni abbondanti, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, carta dei vini molto ricca. È una tappa da fare se si visita Lucca.
