22/09/2025: Located in the first hills behind Capezzano Pianore, just 1.5 km or 2 km from the Sarzanese Provincial Road. However, some road signs to help locate the restaurant wouldn't be a bad idea! As soon as we entered, we were escorted to the back garden/patio, and the setting is truly fantastic. The waiters are elegant in their uniforms. The menu includes both meat and fish, and the dishes are well-prepared and beautifully presented. Everything perfect, then? Almost. A couple of details were a shame: the mushrooms in the tagliatelle ai funghi were frozen, plasticky, and tasteless (a serious problem, considering it was mid-September); when ordering coffee, I unfortunately discovered they had no sweetener, just white sugar (being diabetic, I had to drink it bitter). Finally, the bill: €75 per person for an appetizer, a first course (or second course), dessert, and the cheapest wine on the menu—it's not cheap, though the garden/patio setting justifies the slight price premium.

17/10/2025: Explaining this culinary experience isn't easy. We're a couple from the Canary Islands on our honeymoon (on our last day of the trip, we wanted to try something special) since we work with people, and my partner is the cook. Ratatouille is our favorite childhood movie, and finding this place was especially exciting. The funny thing is that after dinner and ordering dessert (after mentioning how much we loved the movie), they offered us a dish (Ratatouille), and just like in the movie, I started crying like a little kid because of the countless emotions this dish brought back to my mind. This place is much more than a restaurant; it's a tribute to cuisine, to the love of ingredients, and a place where eating is much more than just sitting in front of a plate... The funny thing is that this movie takes place in France, but we enjoyed the Italian version of the same name. Thank you for reaching people's hearts through food ❤️❤️❤️❤️ If you decide to come, let yourself be pampered by the magic of a unique and special place.

07/09/2025: At Bar Irene, aperitivo has become a delightful summer evening ritual. A glass of Chardonnay, a carefully crafted cocktail, delicious platters, and a lively atmosphere make you feel at home. But the best part is discovering it in the morning too: at 6 a.m., amidst the still silence of the market, one of the few places still open welcomes you with a hot cappuccino to start your workday off on the right foot. A place that's perfect for every moment of the day.

18/09/2025: It was recommended by our friends in Borgotaro, and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It's also reasonably priced for the quality. We won't hesitate to return.

09/09/2025: We happened to eat at this restaurant during our trip to Palermo. Very friendly restaurant, very kind staff, and a waiter who also spoke French. We had a starter, main course, and dessert; everything was very good. I recommend it.

28/09/2025: The waiters are rude, it almost seems like they're annoyed. The last few times I called them to order pizza, they hung up on me.

31/08/2025: The food at "La conca pizzeria" was absolutely delicious. We've rarely eaten such good pizza, the appetizer was excellent, and the tiramisu was divine. The regional wine pairing rounded it all off wonderfully. We'd happily return.

18/08/2025: The pizza was absolutely delicious. The dough was light and easy to digest. The place is cute, with a clean and tidy outdoor area in the summer. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back, and word of mouth is a must. Highly recommended.

17/09/2025: We had a delicious meal at Quarantuno! The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We walked by at 6:00 PM with our two young children, looking for an early dinner. Although they normally don't open until 7:00 PM, they opened an hour early especially for us. And the food was excellent! One of the best dinners we had during our vacation. The combination of their hospitality, the lovely atmosphere, and the high quality of the food makes Quarantuno an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be back when we're in Pietrasanta again!

16/10/2025: Wonderful dinner, 10 people and everyone is super happy. No reservation, but in a few moments tables were moved to make one ling table. all dishes were wonderful, from antipasti to dessert. Service was excellent. thank you very much

06/10/2025: We had 2 drinks mid afternoon, they were very nice, but no table cover, no napkins, no aperitivo snacks and we were charged a 6€ cover. First time anywhere in Lucca with a cover charge for having a drink, And first time having nothing else provided.

14/09/2025: Honestly, I'm still looking for burrata on our pasta. After a question, "Where's the burrata?" The server brings us burrata in a tube, we're dreaming... And I'm not talking about cherry tomatoes, etc., etc.

25/09/2025: Very friendly, cheerful staff. Fast service. It's a wonderful place to linger and enjoy the hustle and bustle. Many of the guests are locals—which I really liked. Time passes very quickly.

28/09/2025: You'll find many eateries in the beautiful, oval square. Unfortunately, 'Old Charlie Lucca' is a restaurant focused on serving tourists in large numbers, very quickly. The otherwise pleasant waiter "gathers" tourists strolling through the square. The food is decent at best. The atmosphere is "touristy," and this isn't a place where you'll even come close to the atmosphere of a true Tuscan trattoria. Too bad.

17/10/2025: We stopped for lunch during a motorbike ride, excellent food, very friendly staff and fair prices.

16/08/2025: The hotel is a little old in terms of furnishings but it is clean and the service is excellent. We had a good time in the restaurant with typical and very good dishes. The service is excellent.
