20/07/2026: I had a new experience: I dined at home with gourmet restaurant dishes! Yes, it's an experience I recommend. The service and helpful staff were excellent. Excellent, from the appetizer to the main course; I preferred the fish. I compliment the cuisine, and the pizzas are excellent.

11/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'm giving you 5 stars simply to offer a piece of advice, because I believe even these small details can make a difference in how a restaurant is perceived. When you're fully booked and a customer calls asking for a table, you could take their phone number and, if a table becomes available due to a cancellation or an unexpected event, contact them again. Even if you're unable to call them back, this simple gesture demonstrates your attention and care for the customer. A simple "no room" can leave a negative impression. However, offering a small chance, even just by saying "if you'd like, leave us your number and we'll contact you if a table becomes available," conveys helpfulness, elegance, and professionalism. It's precisely these small gestures, especially in high-end restaurants, that help build a positive relationship with the customer and enhance the restaurant's image.

11/08/2026: I've never had a better experience than this evening. The raw fish was exceptional, with five courses. There were some flaws in the timing of the dishes, but the quality was largely tolerable. The ladies at the table might have complained about some poor service, but the husband and wife, given the excellent food, overlooked this detail.

01/03/2026: Starting with the very welcoming and comfortable venue, my partner and I had a great time. The service was warm and the dishes were truly exquisite. Furthermore, the staff described the dishes in detail. (We each chose an appetizer, a first course, a dessert, and a glass of still water.) We were passing through on a trip, and it was an excellent stop. We recommend it; good value for money. Absolutely.

04/08/2026: A welcoming waterfront restaurant serving truly exquisite seafood. The menu offers fresh, carefully presented seafood. We started with fantastic black polenta crostini topped with delicate creamed cod, a perfect and flavorful pairing. This was followed by a perfectly cooked fish steak served with arugula and cherry tomatoes. The mixed fried fish deserves special mention: piping hot, crispy, not at all greasy, and topped with excellent battered vegetables. Even the simple side dishes, like the baked potatoes, were flavorful and well-cooked. The service was attentive and fast, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We'll definitely be back!

21/06/2026: The cuisine was excellent, I'd say out of this world. It's not the first Michelin-starred restaurant I've eaten at, but it's certainly the best. In particular, in addition to the excellent ingredients and superb presentation, I was struck by the flavors, aromas, and tastes of the ingredients that went into each dish. Each dish was distinctly distinct, yet simultaneously exploded on the palate, creating a unique combination, a flavor that was unforgettable. All seafood was accompanied by excellent wines. The final highlight was a visit to the kitchen, where I learned about the chef, who was very kind and helpful. An experience definitely worth repeating.

17/08/2026: We felt completely at ease at Bistro del Piccolo Mondo from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The service was attentive, warm, and highly professional. We were wonderfully looked after and felt welcome from the very first moment. The food was delicious, fresh, and of truly excellent quality. The portions were just right, and it was clear that they value good ingredients and careful preparation. We also loved the location: The restaurant is centrally located in the heart of Lucca, yet it's pleasantly quiet. You can watch the world go by while relaxing and enjoying your meal. The lovely ambiance makes it all perfect. We would also like to especially commend the warm and welcoming owners. Besides Italian, they also speak Polish and English. And regardless of the language, one thing is clear above all: genuine hospitality. A very special thank you to Beata for her warmth and for making our visit so special. 🧡 We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious, fresh food in Lucca and feel truly welcome. 20/08/2026: A terrible, forgettable 0-star experience. We had reserved a table for 7 people at 8:00 PM with a confirmed seat. We arrived early and were seated outside. As soon as we sat down, without even giving us time to open the menus, the staff began insistently pressuring us to order, even arguing with each other in front of us in their rush to take our order. While we were ordering, they brought us 4 bottles of water (€12). Within minutes, the weather worsened dramatically and a thunderstorm rolled in. We asked to move the table inside to avoid the rain, and the incredible response was that yes, we could move, but we absolutely had to vacate the table by 8:45 PM for another reservation. With 7 people, it was impossible to dine and enjoy the evening in 35 minutes. While we were trying to figure out what to do, the platters arrived; we immediately stopped them, explaining that we wouldn't be staying in the rain. At that point, the owner intervenes and, in an aggressive and completely unprofessional tone, tells us that if we had continued arguing, we would have lost that table as well. Shocked by such rudeness, pressured, and treated with no respect, we decide to get up and leave. To make matters worse, we're presented with the €12 bill for just the opened bottles of water. I go to pay and, instead of receiving an apology for the poor service and the embarrassing situation, we're even blamed. Restaurant isn't just about serving food, it's also about welcoming and respecting customers. This place completely lacks both. Highly not recommended.

09/08/2026: I cannot fault this restaurant. The food is exceptional. Ingredients are all fresh and well chosen from the bread to the olive oil. Valentina and Stefano make everyone feel welcome and Simon does a fantastic job in the kitchen. Is a great place to try something new.

02/08/2026: Very nice restaurant, very good food and generous portions. We had fish dishes, but there were also meat dishes. We were there for dinner, but we'll be back next time! The young lady who welcomed us was super kind and recommended a very fruity Sardinian Vermentino! Reasonable prices and excellent value.

08/08/2026: Great seafood dishes. Very good pizza and desserts. Not to mention the wines that paired well with the dishes. The place has a unique atmosphere; you can choose a table by the park or inside, which is air-conditioned. The service was very good and helpful. Greetings from the lady from Poland ;). 25/07/2026: We stumbled upon Irene's bar by chance, and we were very pleasantly surprised! The waiters and waitresses were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We ended up staying all evening. Plus, we were offered a platter of appetizers with chips—what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this very local bar!

05/08/2026: We discovered Osteria St. Bartholomeo in Lucca by chance. From the greeting to the service, everything was top-notch. The ambiance was fantastic. The steak was excellent. The pasta was freshly made. The cocktails were delicious. The service was friendly, quick, and welcoming. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. We were delighted.
