06/08/2024: I came here very last minute due to all the reviews I read and since it was also highly recommended by my airbnb host. I ordered the pear and pecorino ravioli and the tiramisu. I see a lot of people saying the food is mediocre - false, this is extremely refined well cooked food but i doubt that everyone has the palate to appreciate the subtlety of the flavors. The ravioli was a perfect blend of cheesy with a delicate hint of fresh sweetness from the pear AND the pasta dough was THIN and perfectly cooked which i haven’t had the pleasure of having anywhere else while I stayed in Florence. I also had the tiramisu for dessert: light, airy and subtle alcohol twinge on the end note. I personally prefer my tiramisu on the creamier side but I do believer their version is the traditional conception. I went on the tail end of my trip but wouldn’t hesitate to go again should I return to Florence!
02/08/2024: This was my second visit to La Giostra and my family's first. They loved it as much as I did. It is fun, lively and with a unique atmosphere. They were very nice to expand our table when it was a little cramped. They bring you a beautiful plate of appetizers and all the food is amazing. The cheesecake with hot fudge was my favorite dessert but they were all good and our server was so sweet and nice. In our top 3 of places we went this weel!

05/08/2024: Pizzeria and historic restaurant in Rifredi. Retro environment with a very vintage atmosphere, unique furnishings. Probably the widest menu in all of Florence, countless varieties of first courses, second courses, side dishes, pizza, desserts, you can really find everything and for all tastes and dietary needs. Family run, Italian-Tuscan cuisine, expert and very good pizza chef.
30/07/2024: Typical American tourist here! Stumbled upon this place as we were walking toward a "fancier" Italian restaurant. It was a 5 minute walk from our Airbnb, so we decided to stop. Pizza was great, pesto pasta was wonderful, and wine was delicious. We had 3 entrees and a bottle of wine and it was under $60 USD. Server was courteous and helpful communicating with "dumb" Americans! :)

12/08/2024: Local muy agradable y muy céntrico pero lo mejor, sin duda, es cómo preparan la pasta. Buenísimo todo, pero buenísimo. Tal vez las raciones no sean abundantísimas, ¡pero está tan bien preparado!
11/08/2024: Nous sommes venus par hasard dans ce joli restaurant. Un accueil chaleureux, un serveur vraiment sympa. Et qui prend le temps d’expliquer ce que l’on mange ou boit.
Un vin blanc de toute beauté. Un dîner excellent avec des produits de qualité. Un petit digestif offert. Comme j’hésitais entre 2 vins. Le serveur nous a proposé de les goûter avant de se décider. Un cadre reposant, romantique et décoré avec goût. Bref une vraie pépite . Bravo à toute l’équipe. Nous avons passés un incroyable moment.

17/11/2024: Very good pizza.
We took a really long time before being served and we all had only one exit, almost all pizzas and two first courses. A bit much for a midweek evening...
Maybe it was just a bad evening... We will try again because the place is very nice and the pizza was very good!

05/07/2024: Ci siamo presentati in 7 senza prenotazione e dopo le 24.00. Oltre ad averci accolto con simpatia e gentilezza ci hanno servito piatti deliziosi sempre col sorriso nonostante l'orario tardo e il numero non così facilmente gestibile. Praticamente hanno salvato il nostro addio al nubilato per la nostra amica con cena improvvisata. Ma buonissima! A sorpresa bottiglia offerta dalla casa. Jasmine, deliziosa, staff meraviglioso. Grazie davvero!!!! Uno di noi intollerante al glutine e latte e derivati ha trovato un menù ricchissimo. 10 e lode 🥰🥰😍😍

13/08/2024: We paid a total of as many euros in service costs as the minutes between my friend getting her pasta and me getting my pizza. That half tame has been charged twice for service charges of €5 each. Waited 10 minutes for the pizza to arrive and the pasta was cold in the meantime, so you pay + €10 service costs on a bill of originally €28.
Please look further for another tent.
13/08/2024: Bad restaurant, it is common knowledge that we are not served our food exactly at the same time, just like in the Netherlands, but when the two of you go out to eat and there is a 10 minute gap between my friend's main course and me, meaning my food was cold, it doesn't make sense. on. A further €10 service charge will be added to the €28 bill. Please continue looking for another dining option.

Villa Bordoni Restaurant

06/07/2024: Dieses Restaurant befindet sich in einem wunderschönem Hotel in Toskanaregion in Greve. Die Zufahrt, obwohl wunderschön, ist nicht einfach aber es lohnt sich. Auch das Hotel ist schön und ich empfehle es zum Übernachten. Die Lage und die Aussichten sind hier einfach idyllisch, Toskana pur. Der Speiseraum ist einfach wunderschön und romantisch mit sehr weinen Details dekoriert. Das Niveau der Küche ist gut, für mich vor Allem die Pasta mit Garnelen und Pappardelle mit in der Region berühmten Fleischragou waren sehr lecker. Die Weine des Winzers waren für mich nur ok. Pro Person muss man Ca. 60-80 EUR rechnen, was für Italien teuer ist aber die Umgebung macht viel aus. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett, kompetent und vor Allem aufmerksam, was in Italien oft das Problem ist (das Letzte)
BofG - Wiederkommen/Empfehlungsfaktor (0-100%): 75% - wegen Lage und Lokal würde ich hier öfters kommen.

If you are looking for a Chianti home base and an amazing stay with exemplary service, especially when Hugo is working. If you are looking for an amazing top notch stay in Chianti, look no further!

19/07/2024: Sono Claudio Bernacchioni, clienti da più di 10 anni.
Quasi ogni anno porto la mia ditta Fibel Group a cena il mese di luglio e siamo mediamente una trentina di persone , in più io personalmente faccio altre cene e mi servo dell’asporto.
La settimana 28 ho telefonato per prenotare la cena aziendale per il giorno 18.07.2024 alle ore 20:45 parlando con il titolare del ristorante per fissare un menù completo di antipasto, due primi, due secondi, un sorbetto, acqua , vino e caffè con prezzo concordato di 50€ a persona; essendo 29+ 1 bambino di 3 anni avremmo dovuto spendere al massimo 1500€ invece dei 1740€ che hanno chiesto.
Ha pagato il mio socio e questa mattina venerdì 19.07.2024 mi ha riferito.
Sono rimasto meravigliato e mi sono un po’ innervosito, ho fatto telefonare dalla segretaria e lui ha risposto dicendo che ha portato un menù completo quindi meno di 60€ non poteva fare, nonostante nessuno avesse ordinato niente.
La sua è stata una scorrettezza tale gli abbiamo riferito che se non ci restituisce la differenza non torneremo più.
Lui è felice così .
Spero che tanti clienti non andranno più, è stato scorretto, per telefono dice un prezzo e poi è un altro.
06/07/2024: posto piacevole, semplice, rapido. menu varie con tanto pesce.
Cucina non eccelsa, nella media.
Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
