23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50. The cozze is a dream. Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

13/01/2026: On the first day of the year my family and I went for lunch. The cuisine was very good and the staff were friendly. We will be back.

31/12/2025: Incredible local sourced ingredients, exceptional chef owner and terrific service team! Owner is as friendly as he is accomplished in culinary cuisine arts! Make a reservation early especially in season as it is sought after for good reason!

25/01/2026: Service is a disaster. Zero customer service.

18/01/2026: We had a reservation for 12:00 on New Year’s Day, but were not seated until 12:47. During this time, staff repeatedly told us it would be “another 10 minutes,” which was said multiple times without any clear update or honesty about the delay. While waiting, we could overhear staff discussing that the owner had decided to open at 12 following New Year’s celebrations, and that several staff members did not want to be there. When we eventually entered the restaurant, tables were still being set up, and we were asked to wait in a seating area for a further extended period. Once seated, we were not provided with menus or offered drinks. After asking three separate times for menus—each time being told “five minutes”—a further 15 minutes passed with no service. At that point, we decided to leave. For an establishment that presents itself as high-end and holds a Michelin star, this level of organisation, service, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Delays can happen, but poor communication, lack of basic service, and unprofessional behaviour are not acceptable at this standard. The experience did not meet expectations, and staff training and customer service clearly need improvement.

17/09/2025: The pasta was really tasty perfectly al dente, with a nice balanced sauce and well-cooked meat. The flavor stayed on my tongue even after finishing. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, good table setting, and the staff were very friendly and never rushed me. Overall a great experience!

25/08/2025: The pastry shop is a feast for the eyes and the palate. The Pignolata (and more) are exquisite, and the service is kind. I can't wait to return.

18/08/2025: Very cute and delicious pastry. My daughter tried a pastry with tiny strawberries and it was amazing, and I had the granite (which is a slushie with better ice) and I would recommend trying the lemon flavour (the almond flavour was very good to). We were on a cruise and stumbled on this gem. And the lady running the bakery was so friendly and patient in explaining everything to us.

26/12/2025: The most authentically local Taormina cafe…we had sicilian wine all evening. And one Arancini.

16/11/2025: 3 eur for a takeaway cappuccino. Overpriced.
