02/11/2024: Tremendous pizza with alien porcini mushrooms, tasteless and slimy, dried ham, it was there or it wasn't there, you wouldn't notice, I got two very healthy pizzas, both without salt and without oil, the tray of plain chips, plus the boy from the house to avoid having to go up on the clever floor he pretended that the door wasn't opening, forcing me to get out and obviously and magically the door was open. If you don't like the restaurant job and you don't do it with care, go and sell tires but don't let customers eat this stuff

Impossible to find pizzas like before, my favorite with pistachio cream no longer exists (at most I find the grains), furthermore, as if that wasn't enough, donkey mortadella was added...this horrible choice left me speechless ..it's a shame, a shame really

16/12/2024: A good restaurant and pizzeria located in the upper part of Via Etnea in Catania. Good quality of pizzas, both in terms of dough and toppings. Prompt and courteous service, the aperitif and rosoli offered by the property were really appreciated. The place was a little noisy, but it was really busy (Saturday evening) and, despite this, the service was really efficient. We will be back soon to try the restaurant's dishes.

07/12/2024: Spartan and noisy place, very crowded, decent pizza, I think it's an electric oven, you can smell the electric oven, nothing special pizza and prices above average. I don't feel like advising against it.

05/01/2025: Everything was excellent, from the service to the food. The hostess welcomes you with a smile in a familiar environment, you sit down and after a few minutes you are served. From the appetizer to the first courses and then to the second courses, everything was good.

The location is now called Borgo San Vito.
I had a dinner of pizza, starter and dessert, all really good with helpful and kind staff.
I also thank the owners for their courtesy.
I will return in the next few days to savor the restaurant dishes, which when seen served at the adjacent tables were very inviting.

06/08/2024: The beef was absolutely delicious, and the spaghetti was just as tasty. The service is impeccable, with very friendly and courteous staff. However, the ambiance leaves something to be desired, lacking life and atmosphere.
29/06/2024: I agree with the most recent reviews....Il Timo deserves a better rating. The service was exceptional, the food was top, and the atmosphere, enjoyable. Instead of driving to a restaurant, stick to Il Timo and take the 20-30 minutes you would be using to find parking to enjoy a relaxing aperitivo! Definitely recommended!

30/08/2024: I was intrigued by the location which was wonderful. Unfortunately I took a grilled swordfish which didn't make any sense, very grilled on one side and seared on the other dry, dry, all with a side of mixed salad. Finally, they are so attentive to their customers that even though we are in Catania and they don't know how to grill a swordfish, having only one table in the room, they made me pay 5 euros for the side dish and 2 forkfuls of salad. I forgot their slogan and life is too beautiful. to eat badly.
Catering is a serious thing,
