20/03/2024: It was the best food I had during my trip to Sicily.
Food provided as a service? Bread? It was delicious from the start.
The taste was different from regular spaghetti, and the mussel soup was the best out of the three times I had it. The steak was also the best out of three. The wine recommended was also good.
The price was 151 euros for three people including wine, so it is a reasonable price of about 50 euros per person.

10/03/2024: Out of this world...I wouldn't even give 1 star but it's not possible..poor menu..choose the cheeseburger..and they don't even have the correct ingredients like mozzarella cheese with the hamburger..baaah..do you want the sauces?. ..on the table..you have to open it and put them on yourself..do you want barbecue...nooooo..what are you talking about..small...fake bread..but you pay for it as a single dish
We order the mozzarella..there aren't any..the chips...you would like the beer..but it doesn't arrive..and when it arrives..you think they will have understood baby..ask the waiter and he replies: there isn't any baby. Medium or large...any glass...so the roses come in a glass for 0.30 and the blonde for 0.40...the price as if they were medium...😳😳
..let's move on to the tongs..I order a biancaneve the ingredients are mozzarella and parmesan flakes..and what comes with tongs with a very thin layer of mozzarella and no flakes..dinner not to be repeated..and look at the receipt...waiter ..out of this world too..the only poor waiter in the room..we won't go back again..

03/01/2024: Il locale è molto accogliente e bene arredato, il personale cordiale e il cibo saporito. Peccato che i prezzi dei piatti riportati sul conto non coincidessero con quelli indicati del menù, ma erano piú alti. Sicuramente si sarâ trattato di un errore, ma non è giustificabile, perché l’errore si è ripetuto in tre distinti piatti (tortino di melanzane - stinco di maiale - grigliata mista).

Lo chef celiaco ha fatto gustare dei piatti a mia figlia cucinati con amore e professionalità.
Se si passa per Trapani dovete per forza fare una tappa qui.
Piatto che consiglio è cannelloni di spaghetti fritti con crema di melanzane e crema al pomodoro.

05/05/2024: We went to Anime and Core, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to our expectations. The main problem was the waiting time: between the starter and the first course we waited more than 45 minutes. We don't know if there were any problems in the kitchen that evening, but the service was decidedly slow.
We had asked for information on the rustic appetizer and the explanation we were given was rather vague: "it contains various typical things and then cured meats and cheeses". In the end we were served a plate with eight mini portions, which at 15 euros seemed excessive for the quantity and variety offered. The only dish that really impressed us was the roasted octopus on potato cream, which at 18 euros was perhaps a little expensive but of good quality (at least this one, recommended).
As for the first courses, the portions were generous, but the flavor didn't impress us. The overall price seemed high compared to the quality/quantity of the food and the service received.
We reported our disappointment regarding the starter and the response we got was unprofessional: "well, what do you want, it's a dish". We did not persist with further disappointments precisely to avoid other obvious answers.
We probably weren't lucky, but our experience was disappointing. Let's hope it was just a "bad day" for the restaurant, but for the moment I don't feel like recommending it.

06/01/2024: Una scoperta sublime la proprietaria molto gentile ci ha suggerito alcuni piatti di pesce della tradizione siciliana tra cui la pepata di cozze e caponata i primi contemporanei ma allo stesso tempo molto tradizionali abbiamo scelto lo spaghetto
Con battuta di gambero rosso e mollica tostata, da OSTAR! Ci siamo fermati ai primi proprio perché ritornare prossimamente per assaporare le altre delizie ma il cannolo di ricotta non potevamo non prenderlo un capolavoro ! Da far notare la vasta scelta di vini con etichette di tutta la Sicilia perché hanno anche un enoteca aperta al pubblico.

30/03/2024: This is definitely one of the best restaurant in Sicily. Make sure you make a reservation before you go.
There is no outside area for sitting, but restaurant has very cosy and traditional interier.
Food is delicious. There is no big choice, but food is fresh and so full of taste.
We had rabbit and meatballs and I will never forget that amazing taste.
It's not posh, is traditional and classic food made with love. Like from your grandma. Definitely come to eat here if you wanna taste true Sicily.
26/03/2024: The friendliest and warmest service in Cefalu, a very friendly town. Family owned and run with mother and son making an unbeatable team serving / hosting and chefing. Amazing food including meat and fish, with very sensible prices considering the high quality. Also best international language skills in town to accommodate tourists. Her Panacotta is world class 😋😉
