06/04/2024: We celebrated on two occasions in this restaurant and I would go back a thousand more times. It is called a trattoria but it serves haute cuisine food, in terms of quality and presentation of the dishes. Dishes with a delicate and refined taste. The owners are really very kind and helpful like few others. If you are lucky you also have the pleasure of having lunch overlooking a breathtaking view! Really super recommended!!!

30/03/2024: We went to "l'Orso" on the recommendation of a friend, who had defined it as one of the best, if not the best culinary experience in Messina. We opted for pizza: a choice not from an endless list but all refined and gourmet. The surprise was when they arrived on the table, the flavor and quality of the products used exactly reflected the expectations of the choice. First-rate service, efficient, discreet and absolutely professional dining room staff. Large location, not chaotic. Prices in line with the general quality of the dishes and the venue. 06/04/2024: Wedged between the motorway interchange, the national road and the railway, we could have dreamed of a slightly more enchanting place in Taormina. Traffic noise and pollution are quite present. The toilets in the basement are also a little limited. Car required to reach the restaurant because access on foot from the cable car is very unpleasant and dangerous on the national road without a sidewalk. The cuisine is good with fresh produce but apart from the interesting appetizers it never really takes off, it has a very small Michelin star. The service is efficient and attentive but a little stilted as is often the case in this type of address. In the end, the price charged seems quite excessive compared to the services.

06/10/2023: Su consiglio dell' host del nostro b&b ci siamo ritrovati in questo splendido angolo di Lipari per ammirare uno dei tramonti più belli delle Eolie. I proprietari ci hanno subito accolto facendoci sentire a casa e, una volta raggiunta la sala per la cena, la qualità alta dei prodotti e la tradizione eoliana si sono sposati per farci degustare una delle cene più buone di Lipari. Ristorante a conduzione familiare dove passione, competenza e professionalità convivono e fanno la differenza. Grazie per aver reso il nostro soggiorno sull'isola speciale. P.s. complimenti alla mamma suocera per le sue capacità culinarie. Un saluto dalle guide turistiche napoletane!

The meal and service in Sicily fell short, especially when compared to the delightful and cost-effective options in Taormina. While I won't delve into all the specifics, I recommend heeding the negative reviews and approaching positive ones with caution. It's puzzling how the positive feedback came about.
