02/04/2024: Piccinni 28 is a good restaurant located one floor hundreds of meters from the Petruzzelli theater. The spaghetti all'assassina is tasty and recommendable. However, the propellers filled with prawns are not advisable, a characterless dish with a fairly double layer of pastry. The service staff is kind and prepared. Fairly correct price-quality ratio.

31/03/2024: Delicious meal! They were very attentive to my gluten free needs…with GF bread, advice on menu etc. even the typical orachelle and greens dish can be gluten free with freshly made pasta. My non-gluten free family agreed my dish was amazing. On menus they also clarify which fish dishes are fresh or made from frozen. We loved the salmon and tuna sashimi appetizers (strongest wasabi in my life and gluten free!) When it is chilly they encase the outside space in plastic, so less enjoyable garden (and noisy).

Let's start from the assumption that the location is not bad... but.... it is not possible to reach it by car, much less park nearby, you have to travel about 400/500 meters of the ancient village... cured meats ok.. cheeses ok, shame about the onion jam and honey which were in very small quantities! The not exactly free pizza, €22, is nothing special, on the contrary... the first one at €23/24 wasn't bad, but the flavor of the butter stood out too much and that of the truffle less so, lacking a note of freshness, which I highly recommend to the chef to revisit. For the rest reception ok.

31/03/2024: We went to this place for lunch on Easter Sunday and had a truly terrible experience. The starter with octopus, prawn and lobster salad was acceptable, nothing special. Then the tomato flan arrived cold. The first follows, we were served 3 paccheri (in number), then we were served an artichoke risotto which had absolutely no artichoke flavour. Then the second one arrived and here we had a terrible experience with the dining room staff, extremely slow and also called back by other customers. We asked to speak to the owner who never showed up, in the end we asked for the meat which arrived after a long time and was inedible. It felt like eating cardboard without salt. We complained to a waitress who ignored us and here too the owner didn't ask us for explanations. Those of us who tasted the sea bream slice said that it tasted like that of findus. Too bad, the place is really nice

06/04/2024: Very welcoming restaurant located in the historic center of Lecce, well looked after, dining room staff and owners make you feel at home, well prepared dishes that vary from local cuisine to the most refined dishes with quality products. Fish always fresh and prepared to the minute, Acquerello Carnaroli rice, fine truffles and porcini mushrooms, homemade desserts, make this place a stop to be respected when visiting the splendor of Lecce Baroque. The quality/price ratio is positively surprising and truly relevant. The wine list is excellent and extensive, Apulian, national and international, congratulations I recommend it to everyone and we will return soon.

03/03/2024: Yesterday, accompanied by my brother, we decided to have our first experience in a starred restaurant. it was a mystical experience because being the first time, we really didn't know what to expect but the expectations we had created as soon as we entered the restaurant were greatly exceeded. As soon as we entered there was a very graceful, soft air with an energy that only a fantastic place with a view of the sea can give you. At the entrance we found the restaurant manager who, together with his colleagues, guided us during this experience and explained to us the reason why certain dishes were paired with certain wines (all of which was clearly in the spirit of discovery because we didn't know much about it. Initially I had the classic belief of "leaving the restaurant with an empty stomach", as many people say but in reality, following the philosophy and the steps we left full but above all overwhelmed by a feeling of pure satisfaction. For people who are meticulous and attentive to detail, you can look for attention to detail in everything (from pet-friendliness, to the impeccable care of the bathrooms and the elegant service provided at the tables). To tell the truth, when we got to the end, it was pleasant even paying for dinner for the service they offered us because it gave us unique emotions

28/02/2024: Nothing to complain about the environment and the dishes, but bleeding the customer, especially foreigners, by charging 130 for two bottles of wine which costs 15 euros per bottle is a real theft. A bad presentation card, certainly customers who will never come back .

02/11/2023: Coccolati,dall'inizio alla fine. A partire dalla prenotazione,dove appena detto 2 adulti + una bimba, mi è stato chiesto se gradivamo un seggiolone.... (Ovvio e scontato?credetemi...non lo è più...). È alla seconda richiesta: possiamo venire con il nostro cagnolino, altrettanto gentilmente mi è stato risposto: è il benvenuto! Il posto è molto ben curato, piacevole anche la tovaglietta colorata per mia figlia, segno di attenzione e voglia di far passare al cliente una bella serata. Abbiamo scelto il menu da 5 portate,tutte ottime, impiattate con cura e con ingredienti di qualità. Servizio eccellente,mai invasivo nelle descrizioni dei piatti. Tutti pronti alla richiesta di un foglio e una matita per intrattenere la piccola...errore nostro che avevamo dimenticato il suo kit per serata al ristorante,ma prontamente supportati dallo staff! No parliamo di olio....perché basterebbe quello a giustificare il prezzo del conto....raccontato poi dalla passione dello chef è un viaggio nel sapere. Nota finale, per mia figlia abbiamo chiesto un piatto di orecchiette con olio e parmigiano....beh,le poche rimaste le abbiamo litigate con mia moglie...può sembrare irrilevante,ma vi dà l'idea della cura che mettono nel mestiere che fanno! Il conto, semplicemente giusto.rispetto chi non ama spendere tali cifre,e lo invito sempre a cercare altri posti dove mangiare.per chi apprezza la qualità è l'esperienza di una cena sopra lo standard,beh avrà nessun rimorso per un conto sicuramente sopra la media,ma giusto fino all'ultimo centesimo.

29/10/2023: Near the Trullo Sovrano, the EVO restaurant is a pleasant discovery that confirms expectations. A good tasting menu proposal (with a dose of elasticity that never hurts). Well-constructed and well-matched dishes. The XXL orecchiette are excellent, but in general all the dishes we tasted were worth it. A small note on the desserts (as said with great honesty also to those who followed us and guided us in the tasting). I missed the wow effect that arrived in the other dishes thanks to research and interesting combinations, but in any case, the desserts were also tasty. Praise for the service, attentive and punctual.
