01/05/2025: Excellent restaurant from every point of view: Superb terrace sheltered from the crowds of Varenna, quality traditional cuisine and top-notch service: smiling and friendly waiters who, a nice little extra, bring you a small stool to place your lady's bag so that it doesn't drag on the ground. In short, an ideal place for lunch in Varenna!!!

29/04/2025: We wanted to escape all the tourist-crowded restaurants and we definitely weren't disappointed! Ignore the other restaurants and don't let the view of the lake blind you! We have rarely eaten so cheaply and so well. Had 2 starters, 2 main courses as well as wine and water for just €120 including Coperto… Super attentive service, information was given in English, as I don't speak Italian myself, so I was still able to understand everything. The food a 10/10! The beef tartare and the stuffed squid as a starter, a taste explosion, fresh truffle butter and perfectly coordinated components🫶🏽 We would like to give many more stars... We would come back at any time!

03/03/2025: Eravamo stati bene e siamo stati nuovamente molto bene! I classici vi tenteranno sicuramente. Non facile scegliere perchè tutto è decisamente invitante. Assaggiato risotto nelle due versioni, ottimi. la "milanese".... e squisiti dolci. Ambiente piacevole, tranquillo.

However, it remains an excellent experience, for the careful welcome, the service that is always present but never intrusive, for the excellent culinary proposals with the very classic and much envied cheese trolley, a wine list that is not for everyone and not for everyone and the truly interesting end-of-meals. The idea of ​​the momi trolley is fun.

26/05/2025: The hotel closed to the public for private event today and does not let the public to go into on 26th May/ today. We were hoping to go and very excited for the garden to view. We only visited to villa monastero unfortunately. We don’t know when we can visit lake como again in our lifetime.

26/05/2025: I find the price very very expensive for what it is, the gardens are very beautiful but 10€ entry to see some gardens and an hour of waiting to take a photo in front of the doors is a shame, it is very beautiful but a little less expensive like the other villas on the lake would have been more appreciated

13/03/2025: Very interesting. Well done chef. Perfect basmati rice with the right flavor. Grilled chicken breast without a minimum of fat. Very good baked potatoes. Water and coffee included for the complete dish, which, being very abundant, fills you up while being healthy and light. Menu from €11. They accept restaurant tickets.
