30/05/2025: Superb atmosphere, pretty exterior, in a small quiet square away from the crowds, top-notch staff and service, succulent appetizers, dishes and desserts. We hadn't booked and luckily we were able to get a table! A very nice table to make!
30/05/2025: had the „grilled fish from the lake“, extraordinary good. Finished with cheese cake - just perfect.

25/06/2025: We stayed here for three days before our wedding in Lake Como and I LOVED our stay at Hotel Royal Victoria. The best thing about this hotel was the staff (HUGE shoutout to Marco the concierge for walking me to a restaurant to get reservations and my bartender pictured below). They went above and beyond for us. The rooms were a bit small, but the view from the balcony was unbelievable (pictured drinking wine on below). The pool and restaurants are excellent. Would definitely come back. They also have a private boat dock for private boat trips around the lake. So beautiful here!
25/06/2025: Amazing location, Right from the bar you can view the beautiful lake como and the mountains, They were so friendly to let me work with my laptop there! The staff was great, The drinks are amazing!

26/06/2025: Wonderful gardens, the scents are heavenly
24/06/2025: The old lady at the reception desk was very "kind" and she told us that drones were not allowed in the area. However, no warning sign was sighted and she threatened me that I would be charged with 500 euros.
I told her politely that I will put the drone to my bag and she was speaking in Italian that she could not make her cigarette in peace.
I would recommend to train your employees in hospitality and politeness.

09/06/2025: The best ravioli I have ever tasted in my life. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is beautiful and the guys praise their dishes very much.

We stopped for 1 night here and the room was terrible
The window is like prison bars on the upper part of the wall and is extremely humid and small with a noisy AC
The bed looks like twin beds with a gap in the middle that’s unevenly divided - hostel much?
The whole building smells like a hospital
The receptionist dude can use a smile. We didn’t have time to try the breakfast so can’t comment on that, however the breakfast lady was nice she checked us out when we the receptionist wasn’t there
Such a rubbish place, not recommended

24/06/2025: The best of dining in Varena! Delicious menu, local focused, great service and the most outstanding view (especially at sunset!) lovely owner and hard working staff! Reservations a must!

24/04/2025: Tenemos una mesa afuera en este hotel frente al lago ocupado antes de embarcarnos en un ferry. Teníamos una focaccia de jamón y queso que era de 7 €. 50 , con un café con leche a 3 € . 50 . Servicio bueno en este restaurante frente al puerto debajo de un encantador hotel antiguo.

09/06/2025: Honestly such a rude establishment. The people here couldn’t be any more miserable. Ordered three macarons and a sandwich. We opened the macarons and found that they gave us a tiny damaged one, we politely asked if we could exchange this and they declined. I wish there business nothing but the worst, spend €23 here for a sandwich and three Macon’s btw….
30/05/2025: Mentre ero in attesa.del treno per MI ,(in ritardo di oltre 20 min) , ho visitato il reparto fiod del bar e ho acquistato una bottiglia di olio extra vergine. Ho notato il prezzo alto (€23,50 per bottiglia da 1/2 litro) ho controllato che fosse stato prodotto in zona e ho deciso di acquistarlo. Oltre a questa bottiglia ho acquistato un pezzo di focaccia. Tot €30,50 pagato tramite POS.
Ora ho letto con attenzione l'etichetta dell'olio evo dove risulta che è "da consumarsi preferibilmente entro il 22/01/2025 campagna di raccolta 2022.".
Nella borsino dove è stato posto l'olio non ho trovato lo scontrino.
