25/03/2025: Un ristorante che è una certezza. L’abbiamo scelto in tantissime occasioni, da una cena romantica a un pranzo domenicale in famiglia a una cena aziendale. Una vista spettacolare e un servizio impeccabile. Non ho nessun appunto da fare perché ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo. Una cucina sempre di altissimo livello con piatti tipici della tradizione valtellinese. D’estate in veranda ti godi l’aria fresca e la tranquillità, basterebbe questo per sceglierlo ancora e ancora. Matteo è un ragazzo attento e un ottimo padrone di casa. Sempre consigliato.

23/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato alle 13:00 un tavolo per il nostro anniversario e ci hanno fatto sedere alle 14:15 senza darci troppe spiegazioni, se non che il primo turno non aveva ancora finito di mangiare. Peccato che non ci avevano avvisato al telefono quando abbiamo prenotato. Se avessimo saputo che fanno turni, probabilmente avremmo cambiato location. Cibo buono ma nemmeno un gesto per scusare il ritardo di un’ora e mezza… neanche il dolce offerto o un piccolo sconto sul totale del conto. Peccato, a volte basta poco!

25/06/2025: A great stopover, actually right next to the highway exit, but you don't notice much even with the windows open. Large rooms on the second floor even have a terrace. There are on-site parking spaces in the underground garage at no extra charge: once you figure out that only one of the two doors leading from the building to/from the parking spaces is connected to a doorbell system for opening it from reception, this is no longer a problem. There are also outdoor parking spaces. The rooms are spacious and have plenty of storage space in wardrobes or suitcase racks. The rooms in this relatively new hotel (presumably opened in 2019?) appear to have recently been renovated; some of the grout in the bathroom, which has a good shower, certainly looked new. We had a room on the second floor (their numbers all start with 3, those on the first floor all start with 2, and those on the ground floor all start with 1 – you have to get used to that first :-) Up there, our room had floor-to-ceiling windows with access to a private balcony, which isn't overlooked. In the evening, you could enjoy the view towards the fields (left) and the highway (straight ahead) at sunset; it's best to take the chairs out of the room. Although the hotel is very close to a highway exit, even with the window open, the highway itself only makes a relatively steady noise. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with a large selection of cereals, breads and sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, juices, a coffee machine, and more. Items like espresso can be ordered separately from the staff.

28/05/2025: We booked there spontaneously; friendly staff, free parking, delicious breakfast (we also booked dinner – also delicious with a great house wine!), large room, a bit dark for our taste. The only drawback was the rain shower head, which wasn't clean.

17/06/2025: The kitchen doesn't open until 7 p.m. Unfortunately, it's not mentioned online. Pizza was okay. A salad, which consisted only of leaf lettuce, cost €7, which is quite expensive. The food was generally rather bland. The operta for four people was €16. So we bought the table runners but left them there. Operta is normal in Italy, but if the kitchen is closed, you usually don't get charged. The cocktails were good, though, and the atmosphere, right on the lake, is inviting. All in all, it's geared more towards tourists than quality.

17/06/2025: Mediocre food (for both of us dry and not very special) for a high price. Location is great though! (4€ pp service costs)

04/07/2025: Ordered pizza and gelato. The pizza was not great, perhaps the ingredients were not as fresh as I expected. The gelato was pretty good. The server was attentive, patient and friendly. This might be the only Gelateria in Brunate.

02/07/2025: The view was good. Food was decent. The service was horrible. All other tables were served with mats and proper greetings. Except for us. The waitress didn't bother to serve us just because we weren't white. We had to ask for everything twice before she did her job. It is not like we are paying any less. Very unprofessional behaviour.

16/06/2025: Excellent take-away pizza, with prices that are normal for today's times (margherita 8 euros... it would be revolutionary if it were 7 euros or even 6.50). Fast service.

12/06/2025: Amazing room, lovely people ❤️ food was fabulous 👌 and happens to be a stones throw from lago di como. Take the vaporetto across the lake.

11/05/2025: I gave 3 stars because the value for money isn't there. Very beautiful and suggestive location with a swimming pool directly on the lake, the bar behind it is very nice but the deckchairs in the pool are old and uncomfortable from the 80s. The hotel garden is fabulous and well cared for but the hotel toilet in the basement is dirty and smelly already at 11 in the morning. Furthermore, the standard rooms are really small, you can barely move. Uncomfortable and old mattress and in the duvet cover instead of a duvet a wool blanket. When a customer spends certain amounts these details are really unpleasant. Come on put more effort into it it's such a nice hotel in a potential location

14/03/2025: We had some great days at this hotel. The biggest asset is the near location to Como and the lake with a stunning pool. It’s a bit pricey but other than that we’d definitely like to return 👌🏻

03/06/2025: We arrived spontaneously without a reservation and therefore had to wait a bit for our food to be ready – but that didn't bother us. The location right on the lake is beautiful and creates a relaxed atmosphere. You can eat there or just have a drink. The pizza was delicious, and the tiramisu was particularly delicious – a real highlight! The coffee was also very tasty. The drinks menu is rather simple overall and offers mainly wine. For those who don't drink alcohol, the selection is unfortunately somewhat limited. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, a very nice place to linger – we would love to come back!

25/04/2025: Die bestellten Speisen waren von einer sehr schlechten Qualität und äußerst lieblos angerichtet. Als Gast hat man das Gefühl man stört obwohl das Restaurant kaum besucht war. Toiletten sehr schmutzig.Restaurant lebt wohl von seiner schönen Lage am See.

08/03/2025: Am 7. März durch Zufall diese nette, etwas versteckt am See liegende Restaurant gefunden. Die direkt am See, in der Sonne liegende Terrasse mit traumhafter Aussicht, läd zum verweilen ein. Eine ausgewogene Speisekarte mit, trotz der nahen Schweiz, normalen Preisen. Die von uns bestellten Gerichte waren alle von sehr guter Qualität. Ein super freundliches Personal rundete den Aufenthalt ab. Einzigster Kritikpunkt; die sanitären Einrichtung könnte besser sein. Wir kommen gerne wieder,

11/06/2025: Unfortunately, as American tourists, we felt taken advantage of. There were charges on our bill that we had to ask about in order to dispute and it felt intentional. The staff was only friendly to us until we called them out for charging us for more limoncellos than we ordered etc. HOWEVER, the food and view were incredible. We would maybe come back but scrutinize the bill before paying, LOL. Dine here but just beware!

23/05/2025: La comida no es buena aquí, no estoy seguro de por qué está tan bien clasificado. No te molestes en poner esto en tu lista para visitar, lugares mucho mejores de la ciudad.

01/05/2025: In queste giornate festive ,quando il Lago di Como pullula di turisti a piedi,in macchina,in bus e battelli , un posto tranquillo a quasi 400 metri di altitudine facilmente raggiungibile in pochi minuti ,permette,come ogni tanto facciamo, di passare un paio di ore in tutta tranquillità,all'ombra di folti alberi che riparano dal sole.E quindi cosa meglio di una polenta taragna con uno stufato di cervo ed un buon nebbiolo della Valtellina? Servizio cordiale,cortese,non frettoloso.Prezzi abbordabili e lontani dai prezzi esasperati e spesso non giustificabili praticati da molti esercizi sul lago.

06/06/2025: Sono stata qui a cena per un compleanno. Il locale è molto bello e curato, immerso nel verde e circondato da piscine. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, prodotti freschi e piatti curati e saporiti. Buon servizio. Unica pecca: porzioni un po’ risicate e prezzi un po’ altini (per essere fuori Milano).

19/05/2025: Il posto è bello e suggestivo, anche se, il navigatore, ti porta all’ingresso del centro sportivo…e dalla strada non è tanto semplice e intuito raggiungerlo, per chi non lo conosce. Giornata di menù fisso per comunioni e compleanni. Decidiamo di non optare per il menù fisso perché è disponibile un menu alla carta…! Per quanto sia bello e suggestivo, il servizio lascia molto a desiderare. Da quando ci siamo seduti a quando ci hanno preso l’ordine sono passati più di 30 minuti, nonostante avessimo deciso da un po’ e segnalato ai camerieri che fossimo pronti. I camerieri, tanti e confusionari. Chi ti dava del tu, chi del lei, chi del voi. Finalmente arriva il ragazzo a prendere l’ordine …scazzato e svogliato, non ci dà alcun tipo di consiglio. Si capiva che fosse infastidito del fatto che non avessimo optato per il menù fisso ma, non è colpa nostra sé viene data la possibilità di scegliere alla carta. Ci chiede che vino volessimo ma, la carta dei vini non c’era stata consegnata con il menù. Finalmente ordiniamo. Da quando ha preso l’ordine all’arrivo dell’ antipasto passano 40 minuti circa. Un altra mezz’ora abbondante perché arrivino i primi che vengono portati separatamente. Prima le sei pasta e vongole, poi chiediamo degli altri due, pacchero e carbonara, che arrivano separatamente anche quelli, prima il pacchero e poi la carbonara. È bello mangiare tutti insieme non separatamente …! Altri venti minuti per tre fritture. Offri la possibilità, oltre al menù fisso, un menu alla carta? La cucina deve essere organizzata con una linea per il menù fisso e una linea per i menu alla carta. Se poi l’organizzazione manca non è colpa del cliente, a cui viene data la possibilità di scegliere un menù alla carta. Dalle 13:30 che ci siamo seduti, ci siamo alzati alle 17:30 circa…non è poca l’attesa. Non so a quanto sia ammontato il conto, perché eravamo ospiti, in ogni caso, non sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Do un buono come valutazione perché la location è molto bella. Il servizio merita un due, capisco la giornata ma, troppo lenti e confusionari. Il cibo è buono. Mi spiace dirlo perché il potenziale c’è ma, non ci ritornerei.
