20/02/2024: I didn't stay, so I can't evaluate the rooms. but I ate for dinner for Valentine's Day and it was a very pleasant evening, an elegant but relaxing environment, without exaggerating. Excellent quality food and the right portions (I hate nuvelle cuisine dishes) and very friendly and helpful staff (very honest prices) .... and now I can't wait to return in spring to try the terrace directly on the lake, wonderful location.. Well done.

22/02/2024: Di passaggio ad Argegno mi sono fermato per pranzo. Il servizio è attento , gentile, premuroso senza essere invadente. L'ambiente è accogliete e caldo I piatti in lista non sono molti ma danno la garanzia che tutto sia fresco e preparato al momento come nei fatti si è rivelato. Giuste le porzioni e tutto ben fatto e ben presentato

06/04/2024: Beautiful hotel on the lake, view with spectacular landscape, super services and comfort, excellent and well-arranged food with decoration on the plate, kind, humble and well-prepared staff in advising and serving drinks and dishes, fair quality/price ratio given the location, highly recommended hotel .

The Reception Team friendly for the check in..under the vision Clelia and Gabriel doing amazing job The Barstaff from Perdro ...best cocktails Soon will be back ....Grazie to all of them

16/12/2023: The food was cold and very rude people. Avoid that place. You will wait 45 minutes before getting your food. They are overwhelmed and not organized.

10/11/2023: The hotel owner verbally and physically exceeded my partner. The day we left we hoped we wouldn't run into him, as it was a very unpleasant situation. Luckily she wasn't there, we were checked out by a lovely girl, Elissa, who in a way lessened the bitter taste that this place left us. I RECOMMEND NOT TO GO.

11/09/2023: Very nice location, probably one of the best in the area. We were waking up viewing the lake, and there is also a square right outside the hotel. The staffs were very nice and helpful. Room facilities were old, but it’s acceptable

30/03/2024: We were not guests of the hotel: we only stopped for breakfast but the experience was excellent anyway. In many hotels where you ask for breakfast if you are not a guest you are refused, but here no problem. Excellent cappuccino and croissant and friendly staff. Really excellent The view from the balcony was top notch

05/11/2023: we visited this place when it was already dark. The interior and atmosphere were grim. So maybe you should go there in daylight and enjoy the view. Please note, the pasta portions are SMALL, so maybe you should rather order pizza.

29/02/2024: My husband and I visited for our honeymoon in August 2022. When we arrived there was an issue with a reservation we made a few months in advance but staff saw to it that we had a table and were quickly seated. The view is outstanding and our meal was one of the best we had during our stay in Italy, let alone Como. Fresh caught fish and organic veggies from the garden were delicious as were the zucchini flowers! Next time we find ourselves in Italy, we will be sure to stop ❤️

24/11/2023: The location of Al Veluu is uniquely beautiful, but unfortunately we can no longer recommend the Ristorante at all: - If we had a multi-course meal, we asked to be able to split one of the courses between two people. The second plate brought for this cost an 8 EURO surcharge, which was naturally confirmed by the service when asked. That's just one thing: blatant rip-off. - It has happened to us for the second time that there were items on the invoice that we had not ordered at all. Excuse me? None. - The service is attentive during the meal, but when it comes to paying you can easily wait a quarter of an hour for the bill. Conclusion: Unfortunately our last visit there. It's a shame, in previous years the place was a real joy, now it's a big disappointment.

30/12/2023: Ristorante molto elegante sul lungolago, sala in stile classico molto bella servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene piatti particolari e della tradizione locale. Giusto il conto.

18/02/2024: Serata perfetta, ambiente accogliente e ben curato, tutto il personale gentile, sorridente e molto professionale. Sergio, il titolare, una persona squisita, che ama il suo lavoro e lo trasmette a tavola con cibo ottimo e a tutto il suo staff. Lo consiglio vivamente Grazie a tutto lo Staff per la bellissima serata che ci hanno fatto vivere.

21/01/2024: Sono stata qui per un pranzo con amici, che hanno scelto il menù degustazione. Personalmente ho preferito scegliere solo un antipasto e un secondo, che ho trovato di quantità soddisfacente e molto ben cucinati. Il menù degustazione mi è sembrato un po’ caro e “fraintendibile”: viene proposta una bottiglia di vino che, a fianco, riporta il prezzo di 79€. Per chi però viene considerato “ospite” e riceve un menù senza prezzi, non è chiaro che la bottiglia non è compresa, bensì solamente “suggerita” come abbinamento, perciò il rischio è di trovarsi 80€ in più sul conto inconsapevolemente. Suggerisco ai ristoratori di specificarlo per evitare incomprensioni.

24/10/2023: We came across Locanda Sant’Anna by random choice walking up the hill. What a surprise! Our host was Simone who helps run the place. The service was very personable and we immediately felt welcomed and like part of the family. We had dinner and ordered the steak on the salt hot plate, which was cooked just enough to allow the hot plate to do the rest perfectly. I recommend making a reservation before going because the restaurant operates depending on the guests, and doesn’t have a fixed timeline.

03/03/2024: Horrible experience, years ago I often went with my family, returned yesterday with friends and family, some were sick. Sliced, seasoned €27, hard, bitter. Elephant ears with stracciatella (sour), veiny meat, it just tasted like it was fried. Sour aubergine caponata. I don't recommend it even to my worst enemies, prices are too high for the very poor quality of food. Call Cannavacciuolo for nightmare kitchens!
