17/07/2025: Amazing little restaurant tucked in the corner of the piazza. Our best meal of our two week trip! Our waiter was fabulous friendly and beyond helpful. We had the cheese, prosciutto, jam to start. Followed by Lemon ravioli with sun-dried tomatoes and olives , and Fish with olives and tomato with perfect veggies.

26/07/2025: Que dire ? Un bel endroit, une belle équipe, un service de grande qualité sympathique et finalement simple. Des mets de qualité. Le plus le patron et l’équipe amicale, parfaitement théâtrale et emprunt de savoir faire. Une expérience d’une rare qualité. Musique et lumiere qui assurent l’ambiance. Merci à tous.

26/08/2025: I stayed at this hotel for one night during a group trip. The property isn't centrally located, but it does have plenty of parking. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though a bit sparsely furnished. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was very noisy when turned off, and the only way to sleep was to leave it on, even though the temperature didn't require it. The dinner was good, but the portions weren't generous. The staff was efficient and helpful.

18/08/2025: Good thing the tourists are waking up. Lake fish is already questionable. Dishes that needed a microscope. Prices the same as Portofino. Absurd. Pushy waiters. Empty place, but insistent on rushing dinner. Very annoying.

18/08/2025: Very friendly service; we got a table without a reservation. The pizza was good and the prices were reasonable.

19/08/2025: We spontaneously stopped by for dinner and had a delicious meal right by the water. The service and kitchen worked together brilliantly, and children are very welcome. We don't understand the bad reviews. The friendly waitresses try their best, but if a lot of people come in spontaneously, things could understandably get a bit bumpy.

14/08/2025: I ordered a plate of pasta Bolognese for €16. I received the equivalent of a quarter of a pasta box. Not including the €3 charge, it came to €19 for a truly meager meal. My friends ordered a margarita for €14, water with tomato sauce.

04/07/2025: Ordered pizza and gelato. The pizza was not great, perhaps the ingredients were not as fresh as I expected. The gelato was pretty good. The server was attentive, patient and friendly. This might be the only Gelateria in Brunate.

02/07/2025: The view was good. Food was decent. The service was horrible. All other tables were served with mats and proper greetings. Except for us. The waitress didn't bother to serve us just because we weren't white. We had to ask for everything twice before she did her job. It is not like we are paying any less. Very unprofessional behaviour.

08/08/2025: There's no arguing about taste, but if you really want a good meal, visit La Locanda Tremezzo, a three-minute walk away. and this pasta carbonara (as well as the entire menu) is unparalleled.

04/08/2025: Nice atmosphere and views for dinner, but otherwise the whole experience is outdated and gimmicky - like fine dining in the 90s. The food itself was not remarkable, very hit or miss. Not entirely bad but we expected more given Gualtiero Marchesi’s legendary reputation. Several dishes were bland and lacked any depth of flavour, and some served lukewarm. If this were in any other location than Grand Hotel Tremezzo, there would be no appeal. Go for the setting more than the food, and only if you can get a table on the edge.

16/08/2025: The place is nice, but the prices make me think it's a tourist trap. It's not nice to say that, and I realize it, but I can't help it... it's not about value for money, and I'm sorry. I'm happy to pay a lot, but you have to give me proper service. The showers are open and in plain sight as soon as someone enters the dedicated area. The changing room is far from the shower, so if you shower, you have to go into the common corridor to change... what's the point? You're charging me so much. Thanks for the free bottle of water and the towel, but it's not enough. I misinterpreted the price list twice... (yes, I've been there twice before this review) The "restaurant" menu in the pool area is limited in choice... In addition to paying almost €100 for admission, the lunch prices are truly high. Children splashed around in the water all afternoon—I understand, they're kids and they're not a nuisance, for goodness' sake—but I'm not at a municipal beach club; I'm paying as if I were at a 5-star hotel, which needs to be monitored... and I'm not someone who minds the noise. Overall, the experience was positive... but not at this price... considering the total cost for the whole day (about €160 for two), I don't think it was worth it. Again, I'm sorry... but before setting these prices, you should be aware of who you are and what you offer. I've never spent this much at the best beach clubs in Dubai...

21/08/2025: Disastrous experience. Rude staff and no children's menu. You CANNOT charge a child under 2 for a plate of pasta with tomato sauce €15, and a €3 cover charge. 3 people for a total of €93 for just 3 entrees. Never again.

20/08/2025: The ambiance was nice, food was not good at all... Don't waist your time, many mant better chouces in the area.

07/08/2025: The food was very good, but above all the service was very good. A rare thing in Italy.

05/08/2025: Had one of the worst meals here. An absolute tourist trap with mediocre food. The zucchiniflower was overly battered, ok in taste. My pasta was on the al-dente side but somehow watery in taste. The service was ok, but somehow intrusive and did not make you feel like a guest, but like a product. Italian restaurants have usually a great value to money ratio, this place does not offer this. We paid more than 130 euro for one starter, and two main dishes (incl. one glass of red wine and some water). I will never come back.... although the view is nice...but do yourself a favor, buy some local wine and just park next to it on the hill and enjoy the view.

19/07/2025: L'accueil est gentil mais ni le lieu ni les plats ne méritent vraiment le déplacement. Des pizzas et quelques plats sans grande saveur sur une terrasse sans vue sur le lac. Grande déception compte tenu des avis.

06/06/2025: Sono stata qui a cena per un compleanno. Il locale è molto bello e curato, immerso nel verde e circondato da piscine. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, prodotti freschi e piatti curati e saporiti. Buon servizio. Unica pecca: porzioni un po’ risicate e prezzi un po’ altini (per essere fuori Milano).

19/05/2025: Il posto è bello e suggestivo, anche se, il navigatore, ti porta all’ingresso del centro sportivo…e dalla strada non è tanto semplice e intuito raggiungerlo, per chi non lo conosce. Giornata di menù fisso per comunioni e compleanni. Decidiamo di non optare per il menù fisso perché è disponibile un menu alla carta…! Per quanto sia bello e suggestivo, il servizio lascia molto a desiderare. Da quando ci siamo seduti a quando ci hanno preso l’ordine sono passati più di 30 minuti, nonostante avessimo deciso da un po’ e segnalato ai camerieri che fossimo pronti. I camerieri, tanti e confusionari. Chi ti dava del tu, chi del lei, chi del voi. Finalmente arriva il ragazzo a prendere l’ordine …scazzato e svogliato, non ci dà alcun tipo di consiglio. Si capiva che fosse infastidito del fatto che non avessimo optato per il menù fisso ma, non è colpa nostra sé viene data la possibilità di scegliere alla carta. Ci chiede che vino volessimo ma, la carta dei vini non c’era stata consegnata con il menù. Finalmente ordiniamo. Da quando ha preso l’ordine all’arrivo dell’ antipasto passano 40 minuti circa. Un altra mezz’ora abbondante perché arrivino i primi che vengono portati separatamente. Prima le sei pasta e vongole, poi chiediamo degli altri due, pacchero e carbonara, che arrivano separatamente anche quelli, prima il pacchero e poi la carbonara. È bello mangiare tutti insieme non separatamente …! Altri venti minuti per tre fritture. Offri la possibilità, oltre al menù fisso, un menu alla carta? La cucina deve essere organizzata con una linea per il menù fisso e una linea per i menu alla carta. Se poi l’organizzazione manca non è colpa del cliente, a cui viene data la possibilità di scegliere un menù alla carta. Dalle 13:30 che ci siamo seduti, ci siamo alzati alle 17:30 circa…non è poca l’attesa. Non so a quanto sia ammontato il conto, perché eravamo ospiti, in ogni caso, non sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Do un buono come valutazione perché la location è molto bella. Il servizio merita un due, capisco la giornata ma, troppo lenti e confusionari. Il cibo è buono. Mi spiace dirlo perché il potenziale c’è ma, non ci ritornerei.
