14/07/2024: Location molto molto bella ma purtroppo questo è stato l’unico punto forte della serata. Premetto che potrebbe essere stata una serata no, ma dal momento dell’arrivo il servizio ha lasciato molto a desiderare, abbiamo atteso 20 minuti il menù, altri 20 per ordinare, abbiamo preso il menù del giorno e tra una portata e l’altra passavano 45 minuti. Il servizio è stato molto confusionale, sbagliavano in continuazione i tavoli e le portate facevano giri infiniti prima di finire al tavolo giusto e spesso non volentieri i commenti tra i camerieri e il capo sala non molto consoni all’ambiente erano detti ad alta voce. Avevamo aspettative molto alte, ci aspettavamo più spiegazioni sul cibo e sui vini, consigli di abbinamenti ma nulla di tutto ciò, 4 portate sono state servite ogni volta da un cameriere diverso e il pane abbiamo dovuto chiederlo noi. Cibo buono ma non all’altezza di quel che abbiamo pagato.

23/08/2024: Service très agréable, les serveurs sont tous attentionnés Les plats sont un régal , spécialités de polenta et poisson séchés tout comme les raviolis Lieu au calme et même sans la vue sur le lac c est un lieu que je recommande vivement à menaggio On y parle français

24/08/2024: Just wow. Amazing hotel. It is by the Como lake, has very nice pool. Deserve the price. Highly recommend.

22/08/2024: This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The hotel is listed as a 4 star but it is more like a 2 star. I pre-paid for 3 days but I left after 2 and lost the money I paid. Pros: 1. location. It is 2 minutes walk to ferry and right off the lake with beautiful views. 2. The pool by the lake. Con: 1. The room is rundown with old furnishings. There are no decorations. The walls are bare with the exception of a TV that doesn’t work. 2. The TV doesn’t work. After traveling through Europe for 2 weeks, I came to Lake Como to relax and do nothing in beautiful surroundings. I was looking forward to lazying around in a beautiful hotel room watching TV. No such luck here. 3. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well. 4. The water temperature barely got above cold, so I could not enjoy even a hot shower. 5. There is no iron in the room. You have to go downstairs to the iron room to use an iron. Such an inconvenience. 6. Pricing. This place is expensive for no reason. From the nightly rate to food prices. They say, you get what you pay for. I paid for way more than I got. If you stay here, do be informed.

02/07/2024: I have read some of the poor reviews and reject their opinions entirely. I am well travelled and even better educated on dining. We started with glasses of champagne as it was our anniversary and then I had an octopus starter. My wife didn't want a starter and the waiting staff brought 2 plates and cutlery so that we could share. I then had the tagliata which was huge, tender and wonderfully cooked. My wife had the pork belly which was also beautifully cooked. An excellent local wine that was recommended topped off an excellent start to my Como trip.

02/07/2024: Bellissima esperienza! Siamo stati qui per festeggiare il mio compleanno... lo Staff super, tutti gentilissimi e super professionali... e il cibo ottimo!

22/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo un antipasto della casa con salumi di cervo, cinghiale e asino buonissimi, accompagnati da una giardiniera supersonica. Gli sciatt erano favolosi, come i pizzoccheri. Per i più pignoli i pizzoccheri che fanno sono con poco burro ma tanta verza e patate, spettacolari. Vino della casa direi buono. Super consigliabile.

19/08/2024: Cadre familial et tranquille après la foule de la journée c est très appréciable. Plats savoureux et pas trop chers. Qualité du service. Je recommande!

29/07/2024: Vista d’effetto su villa Erba. Esperienza complessiva non buona. Musica pesante fino al tramonto dove sarebbe stato gradito abbassare i toni permettendo di rilassarsi . Peraltro presenza fortemente imbarazzante di personaggi grotteschi e ambigui che disturbavano i presenti passando di lettino in lettino e senza telo personale. Non va bene signori! Non si arriva fino a Cernobbio vista dimore nobiliari per trascorrere ore cosi

28/07/2024: Non e' possibile mangiare una pizza margherita di pessima qualita' (probabilmente surgelata) e pagarla 18 euro. Una vergogna, bisognerebbe fare una denuncia, un furto.

11/06/2024: Historic place for Como. Pleasant business lunch. Convenient for the location and away from the hubbub of other places in the centre. UPDATE: LOCATION PERMANENTLY CLOSED at the end of 2023.

05/08/2024: We ate good pizza, prices a little expensive, but it's normal if you're up the lake 4 km from Bellagio. You can't get close to restaurants and pizzerias in Bellagio

30/08/2024: We had a lovely time at Trattoria Laghee for dinner. Staff were kind and helpful, food was yummy.

26/08/2024: We returned to eat at Trattoria Laghee and as per tradition we had a great time: risottos always at the top and delicious tagliolini with lake ragù. We highly recommend it if you go to or pass through Cernobbio

27/07/2024: We ate at La Retrovo as we were staying in the wonderful Parco San Marco a few minutes walk away. I recommend a table by the water's edge, however, the food wine and good friendly service help to make it a memorable experience no matter where the table is.We will willingly return on a future occasion.

28/07/2024: If it wasn’t for the gorgeous view and the decent food, it would be a 1 star. This was the worst dining experience my boyfriend and I had in our whole time being in Como. They force “house cocktails” on you as soon as you sit down. When I asked how much they cost they pretended they didn’t understand what I was asking or that they understood English. They did. They ended up completely overcharging us for the cocktails. They also added a wine charge on the receipt that I never ordered. They charge you 10 euros for also just “being at the restaurant”. The servers are very rude, and overall the service despite all else, was not great. I wouldn’t recommend.

12/07/2024: We came here for our anniversary meal during our trip to lake como. We were seated at the back of the outside area which is absolutely fine as I appreciate everyone wants to be sitting in the balcony area closest to the view but as we were seated the waiter said if a table becomes available we can be seated in the balcony area. During the time waiting to order, multiple tables became available on the balcony closest to the view and before my husband could even get 2 words out, the owner rudely cut him off and says that we’re seated here he’ll decide if there’s time for us to move, don’t ask again and now it’s time to order. I struggle with my health and which can often affect my eating and mean I’m not up for eating loads, so when it came to ordering we decided to skip a starter and just opt for the risotto for 2 and then order more depending how I’m feeling, the owner who took our order made me feel guilty and extremely uncomfortable for this. The risotto was nice but something that could easily be found somewhere else. After this we felt so uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to get out of there. In future we’ll just go to a nice viewpoint and find somewhere friendlier for a better meal!

03/08/2024: Pleasant evening made excellent by the excellent food and impeccable service. Highly recommended place for both a dinner with friends and a romantic one. I am happy to write this review, being in the sector, because I believe that beautiful realities like this give prestige to my beloved Domaso. In my opinion, the boy who served us is very good, always attentive, smiling, funny and professional. Empfehlenswert!

31/07/2024: Excellent pizza restaurant with a not too extensive menu with a good assortment. I tried both the cuisine and the pizza, all excellent with quality ingredients. Friendly service and helpful environment with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake where even at midday you can still eat well outside without air conditioning.

04/04/2024: Ho cenato con amiche. Io preso un antipasto ,polpo e totani con patate. Quando mi è arrivato, immangiabile, polipo duro ,poco condito, l ho lasciato tutto, e nessuno mi ha chiesto come mai. Le mie amiche hanno preso la pizza...e anche a loro non è andata molto meglio. Locale bello, camerieri gentili Ma sicuramente non ci torno più
