06/05/2026: Stopped here to just enjoy a couple of drinks and people watch,it's perfect for that. Enjoyed the snacks they brought to the table and decided to order some mussels to share. They were lovely and tasted fresh. The staff were good,though I think a couple were new and after ordering some more drinks,they seemed to have forgotten. No problem though,we asked someone else (i can only assume he was in charge of the staff)who apologised and brought them straight out. Atmosphere was good,lots of people chatting and just watching the world go by. 3 young men across the road were playing their violins too,which just added to the whole vibe..they were great too..would recommend for a couple of drinks,snacks and people watching...not sure about the larger meals as didn't order,but lovely place

05/05/2026: Dear Funiculare Team, For over 35 years we have been your guests and have stayed at your hotel many times. It always felt like coming home when we visited. Unfortunately, this was probably the last time. We used to be the focus as guests, but now it seems to us that only maximizing profits is the priority. The music blares loudly from the speakers, the cozy atmosphere is gone, the staff are energetically trying to solicit new customers as they walk by instead of paying attention to the guests already there, and in our opinion, the food has become rather subpar. And to top it all off, our waiter turned away without a word after we left a 10% tip. The restaurant's location is beautiful, and it has such a long history. It would be wonderful if the management could restore the restaurant to its former glory.

05/05/2026: Fabio took great care of us, very attentive and professional throughout. The space is beautiful and the food was excellent. Definitely a highly recommended experience, we will come back for sure!!

12/04/2026: The food was salty and horrible for both me and my partner, i believe it has 4 stars only because of the views in front of the lake but everything else is not worth it, specially because the prices are above average and there are plenty of other restaurants with quality food.

27/04/2026: At first, we were a little apprehensive when we arrived in the middle of the night. The parking lot seemed small, and there were a lot of people outside the hotel, which suggested there might be some noise. In the end, 10 minutes later, everyone had left, and anyway, our room was across the street and opened directly onto a terrace overlooking the lake. The staff was extremely helpful. The restaurant is very good. We weren't able to take advantage of all the hotel's amenities because we had planned to do some sightseeing, but if we were to do it again, we would definitely set aside a day to enjoy the stand-up paddleboards available to guests. As an added bonus, we were able to rent a boat (no license required) from the hotel, which allowed us to discover the lake from a different perspective.

27/04/2026: My stay at Hotel Villa Aurora in Lezzeno was outstanding. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a wide variety of fresh items to choose from each morning. The views over Lake Como and the surrounding mountains were absolutely spectacular and made the setting feel truly special. The service throughout my stay was friendly and efficient, and the entire hotel was clean, well maintained, and easy to find. Staff were consistently attentive, receptive, and very helpful with any questions or requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here agaIn’

25/02/2026: Excellent food, but it's the soul of the place that makes the difference. The paella is exquisite and the meat is superb!!! Matteo and his partner make you feel like guests more than customers: he's down-to-earth, friendly, and like one of the family. We left with a smile and a free bag of herbs for our herbal tea, a truly thoughtful touch. Definitely book a table to enjoy this carefree experience. We'll definitely be back.

19/05/2026: We spent two nights about ten days ago at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Perched right on the lake, its location is ideal. The room we were given wasn't quite right, but for a small extra charge, we were given another. It was large, clean, well-equipped, and perfect, with a view of the lake. Just a hundred meters from the dock where you can take a boat trip around the lake, stopping at various ports of call, you eventually reach Bellagio, a charming little town. In short, I highly recommend this hotel. I should add that the owner, a Frenchman, was welcoming and friendly.

28/04/2026: The hotel is in an excellent location, the rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is friendly and always smiling, especially Mrs. Monica.

28/04/2026: I can only say that I've booked again. Because I like it better than the place 200 km further on. And if you arrive at the last minute for breakfast, you shouldn't be surprised that you get the leftovers.

09/11/2025: The hotel was truly fantastic! The food was also good. Beautiful, green surroundings and the best coral reef in Sharm El-Sheikh. However, the bed, especially the mattress and pillows, unfortunately did not quite live up to the hotel's standard.

24/05/2026: Unfortunately, that was the worst cheese platter I've ever seen. The cheese was truly awful, and the service was even worse. It took over 15 minutes to order, and we waited almost 25 minutes to pay. The only good thing was the ambiance.

05/05/2026: This was our second visit – unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Our first visit was positive, but this time we were disappointed. Charging an additional €50 per person for spa access on top of an overnight price of over €200 felt exorbitant. We expected more from a resort of this caliber. Dinner also failed to impress. The Angus burger sounded promising but was a letdown: the meat was coarsely chopped, lumpy, and anything but tender. It simply wasn't worth the price. We were particularly disappointed with how our feedback was handled. We politely informed the staff that the food didn't meet our expectations, but received no real response. No explanation, no alternative, no replacement, no apology. In the end, we were left with a hefty bill and a disappointing experience. In our opinion, the pictures speak for themselves. We'll leave it to the community to decide whether the price and quality are in line. As guests of the resort, we would have appreciated at least a little more attention, goodwill, and appreciation.

02/05/2026: I spent one night at this beautiful property, staying in a Deluxe room. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with truly high-quality products. We also had dinner at the property's restaurant, and what can I say? Everything was truly top-notch, including the service and friendliness of all the staff. The spa experience was very relaxing and enjoyable, and the outdoor pool on the upper solarium was an added bonus. I highly recommend this experience, and I'll definitely repeat it.
