02/11/2025: The La Musa restaurant in Parco San Marco is a true culinary experience. The moment you step inside, you feel the special atmosphere: an elegant and timeless design, and the warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff instantly boosted my enthusiasm.
We dined here twice because the food was so delicious. A fantastic selection of regional specialties, and the wine list is, of course, sensational. So many choices!
The restaurant is reserved for guests aged 16 and over – which contributes to the quiet, exclusive atmosphere.
La Musa is not just a restaurant, but a journey through flavor, aesthetics, and hospitality. Anyone staying at Parco San Marco shouldn't miss this experience, and it will definitely make you want to return. We will certainly be back!

12/04/2026: The food was salty and horrible for both me and my partner, i believe it has 4 stars only because of the views in front of the lake but everything else is not worth it, specially because the prices are above average and there are plenty of other restaurants with quality food.
11/04/2026: The restaurant is right on the waterfront and the lower station of the scenic cable car. We asked for a table in the middle, where it was much quieter. The service was very polite and efficient. The seafood was excellent, as were the desserts.

15/02/2026: I stayed here a year ago with my sister. The room was great, and the view from our room was fantastic. The bathroom was tiny, like a matchbox.

08/04/2026: We have nothing but praise for the Management, Staff and facilities of Hotel Aurora. We, as a family, were celebrating a series of birthdays and other notable events this year and chose this Hotel, on the basis of the website and initial conversations with Reception. It turned out to be everything we could have hoped for and as is obvious from our ratings above, we recommend it highly. We would mention in particular that Jonathan (Hotel Manager) and Christina (Reception) could not have been more welcoming and accommodating in respect of our needs and requests, but all the staff were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. We were really sad when we left the Hotel Aurora and would, without hesitation, recommend it and if we return to Lake Como, it'll be our destination of choice.
07/04/2026: I stayed for a couple of nights at Hotel Villa Aurora in Lezzeno, and the experience definitely exceeded
expectations.
The welcome was warm and attentive.
The room assigned to me (a junior suite with a lake view) is recently renovated and tastefully furnished. The atmosphere is welcoming, impeccably clean, and the amenities are top-notch. The real highlight, however, is the lake view: simply stunning, making every awakening a special moment. Not to mention the
acoustic comfort, zero noise.
The breakfast was top-notch: rich, varied, and made with excellent quality products. From sweet to savory, every offering was thoughtfully prepared and inviting, even offering a selection of butter and the option of making your own juice.
A memorable stay that I recommend without hesitation.

Served on a hot plate and seasoned at the table.
A must go when you like meat!!!
At the time we were in the restaurant it was still very quiet, no other customers.
On other days when we past by the restaurant it was always very busy.

25/02/2026: Excellent food, but it's the soul of the place that makes the difference. The paella is exquisite and the meat is superb!!! Matteo and his partner make you feel like guests more than customers: he's down-to-earth, friendly, and like one of the family. We left with a smile and a free bag of herbs for our herbal tea, a truly thoughtful touch. Definitely book a table to enjoy this carefree experience. We'll definitely be back.

01/03/2026: Positive experience in this 4-star hotel... I stayed for work and slept really well. The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious. Slippers and a toothbrush were included, as well as an interactive TV. 👍🏻
The shower is huge, and it's my favorite thing about a room, especially after returning from a day of work. Then there are the hotel's amenities, like the aperitif bar, with a really nice young blonde woman, and the breakfast room in the morning. The elevator takes you directly to the underground parking. Overall, I couldn't find any flaws. Well done. 👍🏻
03/02/2026: The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Autostrada dei Laghi, yet the rooms are quiet. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The property is very well-maintained; both the reception area and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is also excellent. I will definitely return.
This is my third time staying here, and I'm really happy with everything...

They apparently no longer welcome children: their website doesn't list them, and asking directly would be exorbitant. Same room, same conditions, for two adults €267; for two adults + one 4-year-old and one 8-year-old €460 (sofa bed and children's spa kit not available)...
Just write "adults only" and you'll look better.
11/04/2026: We spent a few days at Tenuta de l’Annunziata and had a rather disappointing, mixed experience overall. Our rating is definitely leaning towards 2 stars, and we wouldn't book the hotel again. I can't understand why the hotel still has some positive reviews.
The location is definitely a highlight: very quiet and idyllic, situated between Lake Lugano and Lake Como – perfect for relaxing. The grounds themselves are well-maintained and clean, and the cleaning staff do a fantastic job. The spa area is also lovely. Free parking is available, and we especially appreciated the option of having breakfast outside.
Unfortunately, several aspects significantly marred our stay. The staff seemed very impersonal, and we repeatedly felt that international guests were given less attention due to language barriers and the staff's limited English skills. The service was inattentive – you had to actively seek out a second cup of coffee at breakfast.
Breakfast itself was disappointing: a very limited selection, heavily focused on sweets, with hardly any healthy options. The scrambled eggs were also rather runny and not very appetizing.
Further points of criticism: The outdoor pool was closed despite an outside temperature of around 24 degrees Celsius, which we found incomprehensible. The shower was also cold in the morning. The small, single-use packages for the toiletries don't seem particularly sustainable either. A coffee machine is available in the room, but the price of €5 per capsule is outrageously high.
Overall, it's a beautiful property with a lot of potential, but the service and some details unfortunately don't live up to expectations.

As for the hotel, everything was great. They were very accommodating with many of our special requests. The view and staff are fantastic. I can only say I recommend it.
As for the restaurants, we tried many of the options there and everything was delicious, so I can recommend it as well.
20/10/2025: A terrible experience. I'm reluctant to leave a review like that, but I don't like being made fun of.
More than an hour's wait for a pizza in a room with less than 10 people.
After a couple of requests, a further wait, and an unexpected mockery from a waitress who was probably new to the experience, a prepackaged and raw pizza arrived.
We got up and left, paying only for drinks and a cover charge. (And it really takes a lot for me to do something like that.)
Maybe this will help the restaurant manager understand that they can definitely do better.
Luckily, a little further on, we found a decent restaurant.

17/07/2025: Amazing little restaurant tucked in the corner of the piazza. Our best meal of our two week trip! Our waiter was fabulous friendly and beyond helpful. We had the cheese, prosciutto, jam to start. Followed by Lemon ravioli with sun-dried tomatoes and olives , and Fish with olives and tomato with perfect veggies.

11/04/2026: Extremely rude staff. There are many beautiful and delicious places to go with great service. This is not one of them. Basically yelled a child wanting to find the bathroom. Go somewhere else.
