07/10/2023: Ricevuti come cani in una sala da bowling attraverso il cancello di una prigione! Il giorno prima avevo prenotato un tavolo vicino all'acqua e siamo stati costretti a sederci in un altro, anche se quello accanto era vicino all'acqua! Non un solo sorriso, né all'accoglienza, né durante la proposta del tavolo e, naturalmente, ancor meno quando siamo usciti inaspettatamente. È un peccato, perché so che il cibo è buono, ma questo non è tutto quando si va a cena fuori! Reçus comme des chiens dans un jeu de quilles par une porte de prison ! J'ai réservé une table spécifiquement au bord de l'eau la veille, et l'on nous en impose une autre, alors même que celle d'à côté l'est, au bord de l'eau! Pas un sourire, ni à l'accueil, ni durant la proposition de table et, évidemment, encore moins lors de notre départ impromptu. Dommage car je sais que la cuisine y est bonne, mais ce n'est pas un tout lorsque l'on sort dîner !

05/04/2024: Known because we passed by it and we were intrigued by the external part, very pretty. Very kind waiters who work in harmony and love what they do. The dishes are amazing, I was delighted by the marinated fish starter, the basil leaves used as a garnish were excellent; the best basil I've ever tasted. Also excellent are the muscles marinara, the tagliatelle with pesto and the Ligurian catch of the day. Very good desserts. I would very, very happily go back.

16/01/2024: Servizio eccezionale, super cordiale! Quasi non sembra di essere in Liguria a Sestri Levante, infatti i gestori sono Piemontesi e Siciliani. Mangiato un risotto alle pere e gorgonzola molto buono ed equilibrato, anche la porzione bella abbondante, di secondo frittura di pesce nella asciutta non a bagno d’olio, deliziosa e per finire datteri ripieni, top! Il tutto accompagnato da un Vermentimo della cantina La Colombiera e un vinsanto. Super consigliato!

06/04/2024: I had lunch at the Olimpo restaurant with my family and I was able to admire the bay of silence and the bay of fairy tales at the same time while sitting at the table: how wonderful!! Lunch was above expectations: excellent dishes cooked with high quality raw materials. The service is always attentive and discreet, with attention to detail. We will definitely return.

03/04/2024: In recent years the Olimpo Restaurant has grown a lot thanks to the competence and kindness of Mr Giacomo Pittaluga who manages it, the chef Mauro Manfredi who is creative and available to satisfy the needs of customers and the dining room staff who work with kindness and without wasting a moment of time. The food is excellent, sometimes the service can be slowed down due to the events of the Sky Bar which overlap with the lunches or dinners of the Olympus but the staff, often embarrassed by the delays, knows how to make amends with elegance and empathy . From the restaurant you can enjoy a splendid view but this is thanks to the Eternal Father and whoever manages the restaurant knows how to harmonize the beauty of nature with the goodness of the dishes and courtesy

02/04/2024: We are travel writers and travelers. This was my first time visiting Italy and the only reason for my visit was the food. However, most of the food I ate in Italy was very salty. I thought it might be because my eating habits were different. Lastly, we visited a good, highly rated restaurant. It's here. The price of the course meal was very reasonable, and the plating and taste of the food were high-quality. I ordered risotto, but the rice in the risotto was undercooked and I couldn't eat it well, so the staff came and asked about the problem, and when I told them honestly, they made it again. It was a classy move, but the taste was salty. It was still undercooked. It may not suit Korean tastes, but compared to other restaurants, it is very good and the staff are very friendly. It was a good experience.

29/03/2024: We ate pizza and it was delicious! Highly recommended! Thanks to the boy who served us (2 tables, adults and children returning from a nearby football tournament) with great kindness and professionalism! Next time we will eat meat which I was told is of excellent quality.

You can also order vegetarian and wholemeal or 5-grain pizzas. Takeaway and home delivery service is also available. On weekends, booking is recommended given the numerous customers. We ordered 1 white pizza with gorgonzola, speck and porcini mushrooms and a red pizza with sausage, spicy salami, scamorza, porcini mushrooms and olives, 1 water and 2 coffees. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality/price. I certainly recommend it

Menu with a huge choice, dishes at affordable prices for large quantities Special mention for the spaghetti alla vongole + tomato mozzarella focaccia Small terrace in the heart of the streets of Imperia, shaded and adorable waiters! 02/03/2024: I am writing here expressly for German readers: this restaurant has specialized in the preferences of holidaymakers (Germans, French, Dutch, etc.). Pasta is a main dish here, there are also the cream sauces popular in Germany, otherwise pizza. But: Even if it is touristy, the restaurant is absolutely correct. The food is okay, the prices are right, especially for a restaurant in this attractive location, and the service is nice. So it's not so suitable for people who want to get to know something new, eat something fine or typically Ligurian. You just have to have the right expectations.
