30/11/2025: Quintessenza Restaurant is one of those places where you sit down and immediately understand that the food is at the center of everything. The setting is refined but not overbearing, with a relaxed atmosphere that lets you enjoy dinner from start to finish. The dishes are truly excellent: elegant presentations, fresh ingredients, and well-thought-out pairings. Each course delivers clean, balanced flavors, and you can taste the work behind them. The dishes are carefully prepared, and the quality is consistent from the first to the last. It's one of those restaurants where it's hard to choose what you liked best because everything is just right. And even though it's always crowded, you can still chat comfortably and enjoy the evening. The kindness of the staff is another strong point: welcoming, smiling, and present without being intrusive. They explain the dishes calmly and follow the pace of the dinner well. Overall, it's a restaurant worth a visit in Sanremo: excellent cuisine, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes the evening special.

Not only were the dishes explained very well, but the wine selection was also excellent. Once the entire menu arrived, it was a truly captivating experience. I'm fascinated by this restaurant. 06/12/2025: A wonderful experience! The restaurant is very welcoming and well-maintained. Great attention is paid, from the welcome to the service, without ever overlooking any detail. The dishes are magnificent. The combinations of flavors and textures are beautifully balanced. The cuisine is highly original and of the highest quality. The entire culinary journey is executed impeccably, and the explanation of each course is detailed and conveys a great deal of passion.

27/08/2025: Today we visited Caffe Caboto restaurant in Savona and were very, very satisfied. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, where they will do their utmost to accommodate you. We needed a special meal for our son with food allergies, and the staff helped us choose a suitable dish. They had perfect knowledge and an overview of the composition of the food and allergens. The food itself was very tasty, and the service was very friendly and pleasant. The staff communicated very well in English. I am surprised that this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star, as it certainly deserves one. I will definitely visit this restaurant again on my next visit to Savona. 22/11/2025: The food was tasty but one hour after eating fish there, my brother got the symptoms of histamine poisoning! No other food was consumed for hours before that and he has no food allergies.

04/12/2025: Nice hotel — but a baffling and frustrating experience at the front desk. At check-in, we were greeted not with a welcome, but with a banner about a “gratitude payment” — essentially a voluntary tip scheme. Since we were only staying one night and had no meaningful interaction with staff, I called to opt out. I was told they would “check my bill” to make sure it was removed. Next morning? Still there. I was already on a business call while my family tried to check out, and instead of handling it smoothly, the staff insisted payment had to be made with a physical card. Out of patience, I tapped my phone — and it worked instantly. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. For a hotel claiming five stars, this felt more like amateur hour. Good service isn’t about surprise “gratitude fees” — it’s about communication, competence, and knowing when to get out of the way so guests can enjoy their stay — and actually get on with their planned journey without unnecessary friction. Edit: funny answer - did they even READ my post? I did call them the day before and it was still on the invoice.

01/12/2025: Beautifully decorated and clean hotel. Great breakfast and location. Unfortunately, the management falls short on customer service. We were “upgraded” to this hotel immediately after booking the neighbouring hotel, which we selected specifically for its spa. Nowhere was it communicated that the spa was unavailable at either hotels - from the time of booking right up until check in. At check in, the staff did not offer any compensatory or complimentary services to make up for this lack of critical communication.

09/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here with my family, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The dishes were excellent, truly delicious; they follow tradition, but with a touch of originality. The house wine was truly excellent. The staff who accompanied us during dinner were kind, helpful, and engaging. My partner is vegan, and having mentioned this when booking over the phone, they offered him some truly valid alternatives, which almost never happens. A truly excellent experience. We all left enthusiastic. I'm very picky about pesto, being used to my grandmother's, but their pesto is truly tasty, light, and not too salty—just right, I'd say. Thank you!
