14/08/2025: I highly recommend it. We stumbled upon it by accident and don't regret it. It's unconventional—a true feast for the senses.

07/08/2025: By chance, we stopped for lunch, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The food, wine, and hospitality were impeccable. I would still improve the service in a few details. The ambiance isn't my cup of tea, but that's just my personal opinion.

09/08/2025: A wonderful place a stone's throw from the tourist bustle of the Forums and Termini Station. The dishes are small, but elegant and tasty. The atmosphere is not pompous, but there is everything for a good restaurant. The author's selection of wines. Tables outside. Budget from 50 euros per person with a glass of wine.

07/08/2025: I've been reviewing restaurants in Rome during our visit, nearly all are 5 star. Friendly service, amazing quality food, and incredible pasta. Then on our last night we ate here which was fitting because everything else would have been 4 or even 3 star in comparison. Those other restaurants were all great so I won't change my ratings, but at this higher price point, you obviously get a more incredible gastronomic experience. This was, as my son and daughter put it, one of the best dinners they had in their life. We didn't do the tasting menu either. Our wine was superb. Starters, bread, and entrees unbelievably good. Eyes rolling back, swooning, soooo good. Desserts were heaven. Service was Michelin restaurant quality. Atmosphere was tasteful and subdued, classy, as one would expect. Not cheap, but there can be no substitute.

04/08/2025: We had the salmon salad, bruschettas, cheese balls, lasagna, gnocchi, carbonara and a spaghetti alio olio. Everything was excellent and very tasty.

01/08/2025: Abseits des Ausgangs vom forum romanum sehr lecker Spagetti carbonara (port. 12€) gegessen. Zum Schluß noch eine Portion Tiramisu (8.50€) auch sehr lecker. Nettes Personal und schöne Sitzgelegenheit in mitten der Häuser.

08/08/2025: The cuisine offered at this restaurant has completely revolutionized my idea of carbonara. A brilliant chef, careful both to respect the traditional recipe and to add that touch of flair necessary to make his dishes unique. I then returned during my brief stay in Rome to try a lasagna... I won't deny that I was worried about receiving the usual mix of diced tomatoes and carrots (which, unfortunately, I've become accustomed to at many restaurants), but—even then—I was amazed: excellent consistency, showcasing all the flavors, and even the chef's signature. The service staff is incredibly friendly and well-trained in welcoming non-Italian customers. If I have to criticize this place, it's the "infinite" line you have to endure before entering the restaurant and getting a seat: first-timers might be tempted to give up and look for another restaurant. However, Chef Frigerio is truly a gentleman like few others, and so are his culinary choices.

07/08/2025: An amazing experience. Family owned restaurant doing things differently, would absolutely go back when next in Rome. Off the beaten path, which makes this a gem to discover. Not trying to cater to the masses, but doing things amazingly. Be prepared to queue for a short time in busy periods as is normal for a great spot like this. Try all the dishes.

08/08/2025: Tables almost overlooking the lake, excellent food (excellent tagliolini with shrimp and citrus fruits), and incredibly friendly service. Highly recommended.

11/08/2025: Four of us came here for lunch to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The service was really great. There was a small accompaniment from the kitchen, which was delicious. I had a cold tomato and watermelon soup, which was really delicious and super refreshing. For dessert, I had the tarte tatin, which was excellent. My companions' dishes were also very good. The ambiance is wonderful inside and out. Everything is just right here!

08/08/2025: The pasta is truly excellent. The sauces are very generous. The Spritz isn't too sweet, as is sometimes the case elsewhere. We appreciate not seeing pizza specifically on the menu. The service was very good. We recommend it.

25/07/2025: The atmosphere is quaint and tidy, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the girls are all incredibly talented and kind. The food was excellent; we ordered a gricia and a tagliata. The meat was excellent quality and incredibly tender. Recommended for both tourists and locals!

24/07/2025: We ordered our steak medium well, but it was brought out almost raw. We had to keep flipping it ourselves, and unfortunately, the tray cooled down quickly, so it never cooked properly. This really affected our dining experience. All for $188 Euro not worth it

06/08/2025: The seafood risotto was fantastic, the carbonara was excellent, the service was very friendly and professional, and the place was incredibly high-quality, all at a very affordable price! I highly recommend it! The off-menu drink, made with Sambuca, prepared by the bartender is a real treat 👌

04/08/2025: We were served by Rafaelo, the service was impeccable, helpful, attentive, kind, took the time. Delicious dishes really nothing to complain about, especially for a very reasonable price. +- 20€ pp glass of wine, main course and dessert. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Rome!

08/08/2025: I don't recommend it! 25 euros for a "plate of shrimp, tartare, and oysters" (photos below) is a joke. Plus, the staff adds a 3 euro tip to every dish ordered without informing the customer (we paid 9 euros extra for three dishes). The portions are completely inadequate for the price. It's nice because it's close to the sea, but it's not very clean. Overall, I don't recommend it.
