26/08/2025: A must-visit for anyone in Battipaglia. The sandwiches are excellent, as are the beers, and the welcome is very friendly. Ideal for those who want to socialize outside (the pub is located on a main pedestrian street) or for those looking for a pub atmosphere, given the very welcoming interior. Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: Palazzo Avino is a magnificent luxury, family run hotel, right in the heart of Ravello. It has a prime central location, easy to access, & views to die for, right over the south end of the Amalfi Coast. The interior design, the curated details & exterior common areas (gardens, bar, pool & terrace) are all carefully thought of. The friendly staff here go out of their way to ensure you have an wonderful stay & experience.

06/11/2025: For Halloween, my family and I, along with some friends, decided to spend the evening there, having booked well in advance. Knowing the evening's schedule, we decided to show up half an hour early to avoid the risk of a long wait despite our reservations, and luckily they seated us: the lighting was so dim you could barely read the menu, the themed music was unlistenable and at times even annoying, and the table was uncomfortable, especially for children. While waiting, we noticed, with great disappointment, that the beers were served in plastic cups... a choice made due to the chaos and crowding, to avoid disruption during the evening. And that's fair enough! It's a shame, however, that they doubled the price, passing off a 0.25 glass as a pint for €6, and sandwiches and bruschetta (a special menu for that evening) all for €10. After half an hour and calling the ordering girl three times, we finally managed to get it, and after an hour, the sandwiches finally arrived. We had to ask for them early because our kids (ages 6 and 2) were hungry. The sandwiches were smaller than usual! As soon as we finished, we ran away because the evening had become boring and the place was too crowded. In conclusion, 5 covers, 5 sandwiches (including just one hamburger), 1 small bottle of water, 3 beers... total €100! ABSURD and SHAMEFUL! I understand that you want to make money on the evening, but you can't charge me €10 for a sandwich with just a hamburger and €6 for a 0.25 plastic cup: it's robbery! One thing is certain... we won't set foot in there again. Being robbed like this just because you wanted to create the event to get more customers (there were rumors of 1,500 reservations) is simply not right! Imagine, on November 2nd we went to eat fish (fresh and well-cooked), we spent less, and the dishes were super generous! YOU'RE SHAMEFUL! Lower your standards, and especially your prices... given the quality and quantity!

02/11/2025: The quality of the products served is excellent, as is the care taken in combining diametrically opposed cuisines without overtly emphasizing the differences. One can see a culinary expertise born of study and, above all, passion for one's work.

03/01/2026: Terrible experience – total disappointment ⭐ We spent New Year's Eve at this place, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The price was absolutely exorbitant for what was served. Personally, I only had the appetizer and five small pasta dishes. The rest of the menu was practically nonexistent: a paltry fried fish dish, so sparse and unappetizing that it was left on the plate. To drink? A splash of sparkling wine, just to say it was there. The panettone to finish? Extremely low quality, it tasted like the two-euro one from the supermarket. For a New Year's Eve party, you expect at least abundance, quality, and respect for customers. Here, however, nothing: ridiculous portions, mediocre quality, and a sky-high bill. I was deeply disappointed. And when will you see me again? An experience not to be repeated, and a place I absolutely do not recommend, especially for important events like New Year's Eve.

27/12/2025: Too bad you can't put a zero!!! A nightmare Christmas Eve! Paying €70 per person to receive a menu different from the presentation! People were looking at the menus on their phones and staring at the courses the whole evening! Example: - "on the list: welcome from the chefs with bubbles" instead, we received an aperitif of spritz mixed with orange juice (at least for flavor and color) in the amount of 2 fingers per person + a breaded shrimp (not a prawn). - APPETIZER "Marinated anchovies, prawns, octopus salad" instead - a tiny anchovy CUT IN HALF on a 1x1 cube of crouton, octopus salad without salt, a small shrimp. - the first course was quite good. - second course, above all, I want to mention the shrimp - one small shrimp and five tiny shrimp that you couldn't even clean. - "fresh fruit and dried fruit" we received one mandarin orange each that needed cleaning, and dried fruit. It was really absurd on Christmas Eve! - "Christmas pastry" was a 10cm filled panettone, which never arrived at our table... Honestly, if I'd liked to eat the mandarins and panettone, I would have stayed home!! Total disappointment! Because it wasn't the first time we'd been there, but never expect something like this with so little food on Christmas Eve! Not to mention the music... No entertainment for the kids... Sorry, but never again, sorry! I've attached the photos... I wanted to post, like everyone else at the security check, to show how delicious they eat, but then I stopped myself out of shame... I couldn't post what they gave us to eat...

09/09/2025: I came to the pub for the first time last week and the food was good, with normal prices and excellent quality. I gave it 5 stars because the food is good and cheap. I'll be back again.

08/01/2026: Breathtaking views from every room... Otherwise, it's not worth it: the room was old, cold, uncomfortable, and didn't feel particularly clean. The prices are insane for the service offered.

03/01/2026: All around amazing experience. The room was clean and had a balcony with an incredible view. The bed was comfortable and although we didn’t use the AC it was nice to see the room had it. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice assortment of fruits and pastries. I would highly recommend this location!

24/09/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was overshadowed by what felt like an unfair practice. We chose the tasting menu, which cost around €370 in total. When it came to selecting the wine, we trusted the staff’s recommendation, expecting something balanced and in line with the meal. However, the suggested bottle ended up costing €400 — more expensive than the entire food itself. At a restaurant of this level, there should be full transparency, especially when staff are making recommendations. Guests should always be made aware of the price range before such an expensive bottle is served. This left us with the impression of abuse and a lack of care towards the customer. The food was fine, but the way the wine was handled completely ruined the experience.

23/10/2025: The location of this restaurant is undoubtedly stunning – which makes it all the more unfortunate that the dining experience didn't live up to it. We each ordered a Parmigiana di melanzane followed by a Tagliatelle funghi. The Parmigiana arrived after a 40-minute wait, without any side dish or bread. Only after asking were we finally handed three slices of toast. The tagliatelle arrived, a second disappointment: a pile of mushy, overcooked pasta. Parmesan is available upon request, but the waiter immediately takes it away. In a country where culinary arts are deeply rooted and food is celebrated with love, tradition, and pride, this experience unfortunately left only bewilderment and disappointment.
