06/02/2024: Non ci tornerò mai più. Domenica mattina abbiamo chiamato due volte per prenotare. Arriviamo e hanno perso la prenotazione . Ci promettono 10 minuti .. ma il locale ha pochi tavoli e ci fanno sedere dopo un ora e 15…. Tavoli uno addosso all altro, si mangia gomito a gomito con persone che non conosci. Mai più

20/09/2023: Un assaggio di alici ( forse in tot 100 gr? in due e uno spiedino di polipo 50 gr il coperto praticamente tutto di carta 4 euro a persona sono un signore e non vi dico cosa abbiamo pagato . Arriverderci a mai più

23/09/2023: Service was terrible and most of the waiters were rude. We arrived an hour early and then waited 45 minutes to be seated after our time of the reservation. Food was good but not to the standards we expected. Was definitely dissapointed.

29/08/2023: This was our final dinner on an 8-day trip on the Amalfi coast, and though it was the one we were most anticipating, it ended up being the most disappointing. The evening started out pleasantly. We had cocktails in the gorgeous Caruso Bar before walking to dinner at Ristorante Belvedere, which was equally gorgeous with stunning views. Problems began with the arrival of our server, Giovanni, whose name will be mentioned continuously in this review. Before a word was spoken, Giovanni made us feel like we were inconveniencing and annoying him by taking photos of the view. He seemed to despise tourists, and though he made sure not to speak inappropriately, his mannerisms were brash, and my wife became afraid of upsetting him (exactly the vibe you're going for during a 5-star dinner, right?). I have to give the restaurant credit for the handful of complimentary bites brought out throughout the meal as they were tasty and appreciated. For our main course, my wife and I both had pasta. We had enjoyed incredible pasta throughout our trip and are partial to the al dente style, but this pasta was completely undercooked. It was crunchy, and you could see the white center of each bite. Frankly, it was inedible. Giovanni scoffed when he came to take our plates away and saw that we had left much of the pasta untouched. At this point, I had decided complaining wouldn't be worth it and was hoping to get through the meal without too much conflict. Giovanni disappeared for the next hour while other servers brought us our limoncello and desserts. Slowly the restaurant emptied out, and by 11:30 pm, we were the only table left, but still there was no sign of Giovanni. I finally stood up and asked another server to bring us the bill. A few minutes later, Giovanni returned with a look of rage and said to me very slowly and without breaking eye contact very near my face, "you asked for the check!" My wife said she was afraid to look at him. As we exited through the hotel balcony, Agata, the guest experience manager, asked us how our evening was, and I informed her that it was an extreme disappointment. She took my information and later apologized via email and offered a small discount on our meal. I appreciated this acknowledgement of our poor experience. Later, I received an email from Angelo, the Director of Food and Beverage, who thanked us for our feedback but then proceeded to defend Giovanni and assure us that "he is a valuable asset of our team." I could have done without this email. 17/11/2023: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant while in Praiano at the end of October. As the season was very much winding down, we wandered in without a reservation and asked to sit outside. Despite it being a little cool outside, the staff rushed to set a table for us with wonderful nighttime views of Positano in the distance. Cannot speak highly enough of the very attentive and friendly service of the staff, and the food was excellent. My husband and I opted to share an appetizer of eggplant parmigiana, which was superb! However, whilst waiting for that, we were each brought a plate of 3 small appetizers compliments of the chef, followed by a small bruschetta, also compliments of the chef. My main was Crusted Pork Tenderloin with potato millefeuille and stuffed onion, while my husband enjoyed gratineed grouper and a mixed salad. The food was amazing and all washed down with a wonderful local wine, and cappucino for dessert. This restaurant (part of a hotel) was definitely on the expensive side, but a wonderful treat and highly recommend!

21/09/2023: In our first night in Praiano, we drove to another restaurant near the church but could not resist the available parking of this place do decided to check it out. So happy we did! The service was implacable with the most professional and nice crew, and the food was outstanding. Local cuisine, fresh and delicious. We are a special starter of scallops in zucchini cream which was amazing. The sunset from the veranda is stunning. We also saw the owner walking around and chatting with the guest. She seems very nice. All staff speak perfect English. Prices are high but reasonable for all the good values of this restaurant.

21/12/2023: Locale molto carino in centro ad Agropoli, menu abbastanza ampio ( antipasti, primi, secondi, pizza). Pizza ben cotta e molto buona

27/08/2023: Come spesso capita, se su TripAdvisor le opinioni non sono buone, un motivo ci sarà. Infatti anche questa volta, il buon TripAdvisor non mente. La prima vera pecca è il servizio, non dei camerieri (molto cordiali) ma del "professore" che viene a prendere l'ordine. Con modi molto arroganti, ci "ordina" di parlare solo se interpellati da lui... Seconda pecca, tempistiche. Ordiniamo 5 antipasti, 9 primi e 2 secondi, senza chiedere al "professore" nessuna precedenza. Ci aspettiamo pertanto di ricevere prima gli antipasti e poi i primi.. Così non sarà.. Riceviamo un primo, 3 antipasti, dopo dieci minuti altri due antipasti. Terminati gli antipasti, riceviamo 5 primi e dopo 10 minuti altri 4 primi. Per la serie mangiate un po' alla volta... Ultimo, il cibo. Antipasti (polipo patate e mandorle) il polipo salatissimo e le patate (lesse) sconfitte, senza olio, sale.. Primi (cavatelli con gamberi e spaghettoni alle vongole) in entrambi i piatti si contavano n. 6 gamberetti (cavatelli) e 6 vongole (spaghettoni). Che dire, seguire sempre TripAdvisor non si sbaglia mai. Sicuramente non lo consiglio.

31/12/2023: Ragazzi gentilissimi è location carina , ma i piatti usciti freddi ( nonostante non ci sia tanta gente) ribs e panini freddi ! Alla cassa ovviamente abbiamo fatto presente della cosa , nessuno si è scomposto nel togliere nemmeno 50 centesimi dal conto. Cari i prezzi

30/11/2023: Siamo stati a mangiare sabato sera, nonostante l'affollamento, ci hanno fatto accomodare subito, locale molto carino, personale gentile, il panino anche era buona, un po' di attesa nel servizio, ma passabile visto che era sabato sera, unica nota negativa le patatine molto piene di olio, non sono state di nostro gradimento.

19/08/2023: Lunch was decent. Food ok. Excellent service at lunch. The beach chairs were a complete waste of money. Paid for first row. Not once asked if there was anything we needed. Did not have any towels gif the first few hours. Was really surprised it was that bad.

25/09/2023: Amazing food! Husband and I had the top-tier tasting menu and it was excellent! Unlike some other Michelin-rated restaurants, we were very full by the end of our tasting … and then it just kept coming! The staff was incredibly nice, observant, and timely. The unique aspects of their tasting menus could be seen at all the tables. Compliments to the chef as the food was really quite incredible!
