18/07/2025: Nice place, ok food, but the service leaves something to be desired. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for the arrosticini, so it's worth trying as a place and food because they're ok, but you have to have a lot of patience.

30/07/2025: We didn't have a good experience. Poor table service, too rushed in clearing the table, and little attention to the customer. It wasn't nice to watch the staff watching videos at high volume on their phones. The pizza, however, was very good, no complaints.

05/06/2025: The good thing is that it remains open all year round, but personally I find that the quality/price ratio is really disproportionate. I ordered without having a price menu because it is listed verbally according to the fish available that day. I chose sautéed mussels and spaghetti with clams paying 12 and 13 euros. I'm sorry but the quality was not at the level of that price, the mussels in particular, covered in lemon and ginger, did not even seem very fresh. The service is courteous and helpful, there is a beautiful view of the sea, simple and pleasant environment (maybe background music would avoid a silent room in which you can hear everything said at the other tables) but I certainly will not return. PS: I confirm and reiterate what I experienced, the restaurant owner's response only qualifies him at the same level as his cuisine. poor. we will gladly leave it to his many admirers

20/07/2025: The soft candlelight on the outdoor table was so beautiful. After making a reservation, I visited with my friends. The round table was nice for chatting together. We ordered several dishes, and everything was fine, but the lamb skewer was a little salty. The spicy oil was really delicious!! It was spicy, but it was so addictive that I couldn't stop reaching for it. I enjoyed the fried truffle cheese, liver dishes, etc., and finished the meal with a sweet tiramisu. The owner was kind and cheerful, and it was nice to see him move quickly with the staff to meet the customers' orders. *There was also a spicy tiramisu, which was very unique. I support creativity and a spirit of challenge!!

29/06/2025: Definitely suitable for parties and ceremonies with large spaces. Good food, average, nothing spectacular, there is Abruzzo tradition but it could be done better. Fairly clean and tidy environment and excellent service. I would definitely remove many flat ornaments. The bathroom fixtures are a bit retro and unfortunately, very often you see them clean at the beginning of the service and then you totally forget about it until the end if something is missing.

04/01/2025: Short review, 4 years after the last time! They have gotten worse, unfortunately, over time. Let's start from the first sore point: upon arrival there was no one at the reception, we spent 5 minutes waiting for someone to welcome us. We open the menu and find it different from the one published in the morning, they inform us that they have just updated it. Very bad, given that I had come specifically for a dish which was no longer available on the menu. Patience, we order 2 starters and 2 first courses. The focaccia of 4 years ago was very different from the current one, that is, two slices of toasted bread with little seasoning (including pieces of oxidized basil, not cut at the moment). They bring me bottled beer and unfortunately I notice that it was already open: there could be anything in that bottle, and in fact it felt like drinking colored water. They bring us the first course, the amatriciana, and here I am really disappointed: raw pasta, as if it hadn't seen water, in a frothy sauce clearly passed through the mixer, without depth or soul. The only positive thing was the pillow. Last annoyance, the place was very cold, I didn't keep my jacket on for etiquette. All this for the modest sum of €60, for 2 slices of toasted bread and 50g of amatriciana X2! At least I keep my figure 🤣

06/05/2025: We always eat very well, but perhaps a little less compared to the past. A few notes about the clams (lupini) not being very fresh, maybe it happened. I always suggest booking a not very large place with relative availability. The owners are very kind as always.

10/04/2025: An excellent dining experience! Lo Squalo is the perfect place for those looking for dishes prepared with the freshest, seasonal ingredients. Absolutely recommended for those who want to enjoy delicious dishes in a welcoming environment. I can't wait to go back!!

06/08/2025: This place isn't far from my beach vacation home, and we often take advantage of the takeout service. The quality of the food is excellent, and the chef is very helpful. A couple of months ago, when the kitchen was already closed, I asked for a large calamari fry-up. The response was, "Give me time to heat the oil," and they obliged. I really appreciated her helpfulness!

24/07/2025: Simple, old-fashioned accommodation, but equipped with the essentials. The staff is SUPER helpful and friendly. The restaurant offers traditional local cuisine. Main dishes include ceppe, chitarra, and fried cheese (good and plentiful). A small note: with such a traditional offering, it would have been nice to use a local grated cheese, not Grana Padano. Excellent prices.
